Growing up, we had a Sheppard-Mastiff mix, and that’s when my love for big dogs began. In our house, we had a macaw, cockatoo, kākāriki, ring-necked parakeet, and a cockatiel, tropical/ saltwater fish, dogs, and cats. I continue to be a proud breed ambassador and have owned 4 Rottweilers over the years. I’ve been gainfully employed as a civil servant for 25 years. After my last Rottweiler passed away, I wanted to care for a dog again, but haven’t adopted quite yet. I enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, walking and traveling, and of course dogs! I’ve had the privilege to care for our misunderstood and sometimes reactive dog friends, as well. All dogs deserve love. I helped welp Belgian Malinois puppies and ensure they found loving, deserving homes. I joke that, “If the choice was between world peace or puppies, I would choose puppies.” I can’t wait to meet your doggie! Since I’m a civil servant, my schedule is consistent.
