About: Hello, we are Peter & Shannon. We have both had pets throughout our lives and, over the past decade +, have taken care of own dogs and others' dogs in all stages of life. From puppies to seniors with special needs, we know that every dog is special and we aim to provide care, affection, and play to is unique to each dogs ability and preferences. We are comfortable providing medications and incorporating any medical necessities into our daily routine as needed. We do not have children and our dogs (and yours) are absolutely our babies. Currently have one dog, Violet, a very friendly and outgoing doodle who loves meeting and playing with new friends. Violet is quite intuitive and has shown gentleness with more senior or less energetic dogs but she also can "turn it on" and play, play, play with those who are interested. We recently lost our 10 year old labrador, Charley, to cancer and have so much extra love to give to your fur baby. Peter and I mostly work from home so your dog will have both human and canine companionship the majority of the time during their stay with us. When we both venture out, we are not typically gone for more than 4-5 hours. We go on daily walks and frequent excursions with Violet and can easily accommodate the routine needs of your dog(s) as well. Our home is clean is comfortable with lots of dog beds (although you are more than welcome to bring your own) and toys for playing. We do allow dogs on our furniture but, of course, will ensure that we enforce any of your home rules as preferred. We have a fully fenced back yard which we love to spend lots of time in when the weather is nice and we enjoy taking lots of adventures to the Russian River, the beach, and local parks.

“Cambryel did a great job sitting my two, slightly difficult, little senior rescue dogs. I have had a couple of people turn down the job in the past when one or both of the boys barked, were bossy, and didn't want to make friends. Cambryel didn't give off any of those stand-offish vibes that the boys had picked up on with the others, and they took to her after only a couple of minutes. We all went for a walk, and they were happy to make a friend of Cambryel. When she showed up for the "sit," they recognized her immediately and greeted her as pals. I will customize your pet's care depending on its needs. My dogs Thor and Stevie will also be excited to keep them company. I am available to care for your dogs 7 days a week. The dogs will always be monitored because I work from home and am readily available, so I can ensure a safe environment. About: My wife and I have taken care of many dogs throughout our lives as dogs bring us deep joy and satisfsction in life. Dogs I have taken care of are Yorkie, Chihuahuas, Westie, Shiba Inu mix, Labrador Retriever( hunting dog), Shih Tzus, Husky mix and more. My partner has taken care of a wide of variety dogs, cats, and other pets as well. Our love for dogs always want us to treat and care for them as best as possible. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who I love like he is a family member and I hope I can bring that level of care to other dogs I have to care for. I have also taken care of senior dogs in the past. Taking care of people's dogs does not feel like a job to us, rather a joyful and fun experience for us both! I'm Pet First Aid/CPR certified through American Health Training. I understand the procedure on how to properly handle dogs from all sizes who are choking, poisoned, unresponsive, how to check vitals and perform CPR if necessary. The training gives me the best understanding and preparation on how to best handle a pet emergency. My wife is also knowledgeable of CPR/ Pet First Aid Care as I taught her what I learned from the course as we both find it really important to care not only for the pet's needs, but be best prepared for an pet emergency. I am currently a student who will have the summer off to care for dogs. Stuff like appointments can pop up on my weekly schedule but I should be available throughout the week/ weekend. Even with all the demands of life, I always give dogs under my care a lot of attention and have all their needs met! If I have to leave the house for whatever reason, my wife will give her attention to caring for the dogs as we love working as a team to care for our furry animals. I live in a two story house with a small backyard that is fenced. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who loves people and has gotten along well with other dogs in the same household. My dog is not one to try to make friends with other dogs as he does not like dogs coming up to him and in his space, but he can get along well with dogs of similar size or bigger dogs with time and has been in situations where he got along fine with mulitple dogs in a house. My house is spacious so there is plenty of room for the dogs to move about. We have multiple rooms and a dog gate where they can be comfortable if difficulties come up with getting along. I currently live with my wife and two parents as all three are dog lovers who are highly experienced with pet care, so in case I need to leave the house for errands or other needs, my wife can provide attention to the pet if need be as the pet can always have supervision. I will be home very often so I can take out the dog frequently and I live close to a park that's great for walking, and our neighborhood is very safe and plenty of places for walking. For extended house sitting, my wife wishes to accompany me for that service as she is highly experienced with dog care and she doesn't want to be separated from me for long periods of time. The dogs will always have access to fresh and clean water in the house. I will be very attentive to the pet's needs and be very sure they are well taken care of and comfortable under my care😊.
