“Brandi did an awesome job taking care of my dogs, Tucker and Katie. I was worried about Tucker because he can be a grumpy old man. But I had nothing to be worried about. Brandi was able to read him and know when he needed some time alone. Both dogs came home super tired from all the play that had. Brandi updated with lots and lots of pictures showing the dogs playing, gave them a Pupcup treat from Starbucks, and gave them dry baths before they came home. I would recommend Brandi, she has good systems in place for watching dogs. We would use her again!”

I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. When I was 14, I started to pet sit other people’s cats as well, and I always ensured that the kitties have clean litter box, access to water, plenty of playtime and cuddles, and they are fed as many times as their owner instructed me. When I come across wildlife or strays in need, I will go to the ends of the earth to help. In college I had a zoology emphasis & interned at an exotic wildlife rehabilitation center. I have volunteered at a local animal shelter washing dogs, cleaning kennels, & socializing with cats & dogs. I also volunteered at a farm animal sanctuary. We began rescuing cats since the LA wildfires and I fostered one. With a positive attitude and a readiness to learn, I'd complete the tasks assigned, giving attention to the animals as I go along. After finishing my work on the sanctuary, I'd thoroughly socialize with the animals, spending time in different barns/rooms each week so that all, from pigs to cats, receive equal attention. However if your dog wants to play with other dogs, I often have other dogs I am pet sitting in my house, so it is likely, that your pet can meet new friends during their stay. There is also a dog park near to our house, where I am willing to take your dog if they require playtime with other dogs. If your dog is shy or more reserved, my house is big enough to provide a separated room to hang out! In our home, dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed, and most of the dogs I sit before slept with me on the bed! :) If I pet sit an animal in the client’s home, I always ensure to follow all the instructions the owner gives me about their home, and I always make sure that when I leave, the pet stays safe in their environment. I am familiar with pet CPR and First Aid, and my partner, who lives with me is pet CPR certified. When I go for longer walks with dogs, I always have water and a transportable bowl with me, so I can make sure, that your dog has always access to water, even during walks. We have air conditioning in the house, so if it is too hot outside, I can just chill with the dogs inside the house and make sure that they do not overheat.

About: My wife and I have taken care of many dogs throughout our lives as dogs bring us deep joy and satisfsction in life. Dogs I have taken care of are Yorkie, Chihuahuas, Westie, Shiba Inu mix, Labrador Retriever( hunting dog), Shih Tzus, Husky mix and more. I understand the procedure on how to properly handle dogs from all sizes who are choking, poisoned, unresponsive, how to check vitals and perform CPR if necessary. The training gives me the best understanding and preparation on how to best handle a pet emergency. My wife is also knowledgeable of CPR/ Pet First Aid Care as I taught her what I learned from the course as we both find it really important to care not only for the pet's needs, but be best prepared for an pet emergency. Even with all the demands of life, we always give dogs under my care a lot of attention and have all their needs met! If I have to leave the house for whatever reason, my wife will give her attention to caring for the dogs as we love working as a team to care for our furry animals. If there are any dogs we care for that have separation anxiety issues, we can make sure to give that dog always has company! I live in a two story house with a small backyard that is fenced. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who loves people and has gotten along well with other dogs in the same household. My dog is not one to try to make friends with other dogs as he does not like dogs coming up to him and in his space, but he can get along well with dogs of similar size or bigger dogs with time and has been in situations where he got along fine with mulitple dogs in a house. My house is spacious so there is plenty of room for the dogs to move about. We have multiple rooms and a dog gate where they can be comfortable if difficulties come up with getting along. I currently live with my wife and two parents as all three are dog lovers who are highly experienced with pet care, so in case I need to leave the house for errands or other needs, my wife can provide attention to the pet if need be as the pet can always have supervision. I will be home very often so I can take out the dog frequently and I live close to a park that's great for walking, and our neighborhood is very safe and plenty of places for walking. The dogs will always have access to fresh and clean water in the house. I will be very attentive to the pet's needs and be very sure they are well taken care of and comfortable under my care😊.

I have a fenced yard, and I go on multiple walks every day with my dog, Baldur. He is friendly with dogs and cats, but due to his age, he is not very playful anymore. However if your dog wants to play with other dogs, I often have other dogs I am pet sitting in my house, so it is likely, that your pet can meet new friends during their stay. There is also a dog park near to our house, where I am willing to take your dog if they require playtime with other dogs. If your dog is shy or more reserved, my house is big enough to provide a separated room to hang out! In our home, dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed, and most of the dogs I sit before slept with me on the bed! :) If I pet sit an animal in the client’s home, I always ensure to follow all the instructions the owner gives me about their home, and I always make sure that when I leave, the pet stays safe in their environment. I am familiar with pet CPR and First Aid, and my partner, who lives with me is pet CPR certified. When I go for longer walks with dogs, I always have water and a transportable bowl with me, so I can make sure, that your dog has always access to water, even during walks. We have air conditioning in the house, so if it is too hot outside, I can just chill with the dogs inside the house and make sure that they do not overheat.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. About: I have been raised with dogs my entire life. Before I was born there were large dogs in the house which I grew up alongside. “Brandi did an awesome job taking care of my dogs, Tucker and Katie. I was worried about Tucker because he can be a grumpy old man. But I had nothing to be worried about. Brandi was able to read him and know when he needed some time alone. Both dogs came home super tired from all the play that had. Brandi updated with lots and lots of pictures showing the dogs playing, gave them a Pupcup treat from Starbucks, and gave them dry baths before they came home. I would recommend Brandi, she has good systems in place for watching dogs. We would use her again!”
