1. Michelle D.

“Couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Michelle has been punctual to all our drop-in visits and posted several picture updates. She has proven to be an ecstatic trainer to our 3 month old puppy and loving sitter to our older dog. During her drop-in visits Michelle has gone above and beyond, training our puppy in her basic commands and enriching her day with find it games. I look forward to her watching our dogs in the future!”

4. Melissa W.

“Melissa is wonderful! 2 of our 3 dogs have different reactivity issues, and have had some of their “stranger danger” get worse between the pandemic and moving to Sonoma County. It’s a big relief to see our dogs resocializing and looking forward to interacting with new people”

8. Kaiel K.

“Hi my name is Gail. I have dog named Louie. I went away on vacation to Ireland in may. I had to find a dependable person to be able to care for my dog while I was away over two weeks...I asked Kaile. To pet sit for me. She was the best trustworthy , very dependable and her gift with animals is very clear. ...I would highly recommend her ....I also have a Parrot she took care during that time. If he likes her she truly is an animal whisper. He didn't like anyone but me....”

9. Veronica T.

“Oh my goodness. We have had a lot of cat sitters, but Veronica is absolutely the best. She went above and beyond in every way. She was helpful during booking, came at consistent times, sent multiple photos of everything she did (ex: a photo of the clean litter box, etc.), and even bought our cats two brand new toys while we were away. Communicative is not even the word for it - she communicated with us in a way that took every fear we had about leaving our fur babies away. She’s truly amazing and we can’t wait to have her back. I highly, highly recommend using Veronica. She’s incredible.”

10. Madison D.
About: I have been taking care of a wide variety of not only different species, but dogs with specific needs. I also have lots of experience with multiple dogs (and cats) all at one time in the home! I am a full time student with 1 job, so depending on how much attention your little fur baby needs, i will try my hardest to squeeze in time for them! Although my house is not suitable for onboarding, I have found comfort in many different homes, both overnight and just for checking in. Whatever instructions are left for the care in the home is what will be followed!

11. Monica T.
“I have been friends and colleagues with Monica for nearly a decade, she is trustworthy, thoughtful, and caring. She has watched my dog, Echo, on a number of occasions. Echo is high energy and has epilepsy- she requires medication throughout the day to manage her condition. Monica follows Echo's medication schedule closely, and Echo always comes home tired after playing with Monica's friendly dog, Phoenix. Echo adores Monica, and I know she's in good hands!”

12. Kathleen C.
“Kathleen has a gift when it comes to animals! I’m convinced that my pets love her more than they love me. She had sat for/walked my dogs and my cat, and my experience with her has been nothing short of amazing. She is attentive and compassionate, and my pets are always sad to leave her after they’ve been in her care. All three of my pets are senior citizens with special needs, and she is very skilled at dealing with their various needs and administering their medications. Beyond this, she is reliable, trustworthy, and communicative. I highly recommend her, and I would trust her with my pets again without question!!”

13. Angelina A.

“Angelina was prompt with her responses, understood our situation, and communicated clearly about our pet's requirements. Looking forward to many more sits with her!”

14. Kyra E.
“Kyra has taken care of my mini aussie a number of times. Kyra is a dog lover to her core and senses what each dog needs and likes. Her own dog, an aussie-doodle, is super social and loves to play with other dogs, no matter the size. I can leave my little fur baby with her without worrying about anything! I know she will have lots of fun, be well cared for and happy when I come to get her.”

15. Christina J.
About: I have been dog sitting for years but started Rover in 2022. I started out caring for my two pugs and cat, and have been sitting for family, friends, and folks on Rover. I am currently working as an overnight nursing assistant on Sunday-Tuesday, so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your pet! The rest of the days I am here to help, so they can get all the love and attention they can get while you’re away! When I am at a client’s home I make sure fencing is secured if needed. My home has a fence as well. I also make sure they have enough place to play whether it could be inside or out. I prefer to be outside with them! I love being active with animals but if you’re pet is somewhat a couch potato OR old, I can comfort them in whatever way they feel comfortable.

16. Alison F.

“Alison checked in on our dog Archie while we were gone for a few hours. She was prompt, sent a photo and remembered to put Archie in his crate when she left (per instructions). Archie can be very enthusiastic with new people and she wasn't phased at all. She also came for a pre-meet even though it was a bit of a drive for her.”

17. Devan H.
“Devan was great with my dogs and cat while we were on vacation. He really want the extra mile, took them on long walks, and made sure they got a lot of attention. I highly recommend him for pet sitting.”

18. Bella T.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 13 years old. I love to take care of all animals! I also have a knack for teaching dogs new tricks. My schedule is very open to take care of your pets. I am available Tuesday, wednesday, thursday Friday and Saturday all day! I can also crate train if needed. I have a safe home with one other dog (who is very friendly and playful) and one very sweet cat that will love to keep your pets company and play!

19. Marti F.
“I have trusted Marti with my dog for over 5 years. When I travel, I know that my pup is in good hands, and my routine I have with my dog will continue to be respected. When I come back, my dog is not exhausted like he was when I used to board him. This shows that he was well taken care of, and not stressed. My pup also eats at Marti’s, when he didn’t eat at his boarding kennel. I have nothing but good things to say about Marti as a sitter.”

20. Logan F.
“Logan is an amazing caretaker for our dog. She does not take to every person she meets, but Logan has won her over completely. I know she will not even miss us when he is with her. He is very easy to get in touch with and he is thorough. He has even given her medications when she had an ear infection. He gives consistent updates and I know my pup will be in great hands with him.”
