She is so mellow, so sweet, so friendly, so reliable and responsible, and I knew pepper was in the best of hands when I was a 6 hour plane ride away! About: I love all animals! I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, reptiles (mainly snakes), chickens, ducks, rodents (rats, mice, hamster), rabbits, sheep, goats, birds, etc! I love connecting with each animal in their unique ways, I truly believe we have a lot to learn from these compassionate beings. It's my pleasure to make them feel safe, loved, well fed and fully exercised! I don't have a lot of experience with very old animals but I'm willing to learn what their specific and special needs are. I have had older dogs in my life so I do have a basic grasp on their needs but everyone is unique! I mostly work remote from home with the occasional pop into the warehouse once or twice a week. My schedule can be pretty flexible for the most part! I'll gladly learn the typical schedule you have with your pet so that they feel their care is secure and stable. Time of feeding, length of walk, treats, etc. Just let me know and I'll do my best to make you both feel considered and cared for. I'm not currently doing doggy day care or boarding. Eventually I will offer that service again! I might be open to it on a case by case basis.

About: I have been around animals all my life, particularly big dogs. My family has always had big dogs (Bernese Mountain dogs and labradors), but I share the love with all sizes! Helping train our family dogs has also given me confidence not only in handling animals, but also the knowledge to ensure safe engagement with them and others. No animal is "problematic" they all just require (and deserve) specific attention and patience. I personally enjoy the company of animals, so it's a win-win if I get to hang out with your pet! I'm an active person and like to invite my furry friends along for fun too. I'll run with them to get out their zoomies, play fetch for hours, or go on nice long strolls along the neighborhood. I enjoy getting outside as much as the dog does, so this is a mutually beneficial experience! I work from home, typically schedule my own meetings, and have a flexible schedule! I enjoy getting out of my house to go on walks of my own, so its even better to have some furry company! I understand that life happens and sometimes we need extra support, even last minute. So I'm here to help out with all the things life throw our way. When interacting and engaging with animals, especially new ones, patience and slowness are my virtues. I understand animals and that you're doing your best for them. Whether they just need some love while you're away, or you want me to reinforce training that you're working on, I take your needs very seriously.

About: I’ve loved animals since as long I can remember. Currently have 2 cats and an 11 month old shepherd/heeler puppy mix. The neighbors trust me with their pets when they’re out of town and I’d love to take care of yours as well! I was recently laid off from my job and have found myself with a lot of time to fill. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was about 11, so 7 years or so. I am very comfortable with both big and little animals, ranging from hamsters to horses. I have experience with senior animals, big dogs, horses, chickens, pigs, cats, and more. I am currently attending the SRJC, but only have online classes as of now so my schedule is very open to fit your needs. I like any excuse to get some exercise so I'd be more than happy to fit in a few walks a day with your pets, as well as house sitting, boarding, and drop ins. I am very flexible on pay, please just let me know what you need from me and what you're able to pay, I will take pretty much any job. I have a large open yard that is fenced in the front, but has a small (very shallow; no risk of drowning) creek running along the back, providing a natural sort of fence with nothing but a field behind it. I have one dog that is very friendly and easygoing, as well as some cats around the property that sometimes come inside but don't care much for dogs.

My ideal situation would be to establish a relationship where ongoing, consistent support can be available for both me and your pet/family! I am available for dog, cat, and house sitting, I have full overnight availability, and while I am not in a position to house your furry family members, I am available to come tend to them in your space. At this time, I am not available to bring animals to my home. I am, however, available to come tend to your furry family members at your home.

About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Mondays and Thursdays, but I may be able to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone for 8 hours. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your pet’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access.

About: I grew up with all sorts of animals and have always loved spending time with them. Your pets will get loads of attention from me, as I take full advantage of my time with them. You get your money's worth with me! I have helped potty train, helped teach tricks, have extensive experience pet sitting for animals with various needs and abilities, have experience sitting for elder pets and pets who need medication, and I am dedicated to catering my care to fit with your pet's personality making our time together fun and engaging. I take a positive reinforcement approach to dog training and build trust with the pets I watch. I spend a lot of time outside exploring new locations each day and our time together often ends with your pet exhausted. I have done loads of house sitting and have wonderful references. If needed I can even watch your other pets, too. I am getting my master's degree right now allowing me to take your dog out on frequent walks. When sitting for dogs that are well behaved I tend to bring them with me everywhere I can, keeping them active and engaged. Taking care of your animals is my way of getting time with them during a time in my life when I cannot have them. I love all animals and promise to care for them with all the love I would impart to my own animals. I make sure to treat your house as if it were my own. This means keeping things clean and making sure that nothing is destroyed. If something does get broken (which is uncommon) you will always know and if it was my fault I will, of course, replace it. It is not uncommon for people to ask for me to bring in their mail, water their plants, etc. and I am happy to help how I can.
