About: I got my first dog, Duchess, my little mix (shih tzu, pekingese, west highland terrier) 15 years ago. During a family discussion about a pet, I was the only one who advocated for getting her but when my family and I laid our eyes on her, everyone got on board! I’ve been her main caregiver and I’ve enjoyed taking care of her from a young pup to becoming an older dog now. For her daily routine, I take her on a walk about 4 times a day for about 15 minutes. She’s a sniffer so we slowly walk along the neighborhood and I let her take her time on our excursions. It’s always a nice break to spend time with her and get a bit of exercise in. I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for my aunt’s family. They have a two year old small white dog who has lots of energy. I love taking their dog, Peanut, on walks when they’re away and playing ball with him. It’s always a blast!
About: I currently have 5 of my own dogs, my oldest we have had for 8 years. I used to work at a dog rescue and I currently work at a kennel, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I work full time at a dog kennel in Petaluma and days that are grayed out I am available after 5:30 pm for visits or walks. I have experience fitting collars and harnesses to all sized dogs for their safety. I also know how to safely and properly use e-collars, prong collars, muzzles, martingales, and gentle leaders. I have a reactive dog myself, so I know how to keep dogs safe in environments that may make them uncomfortable.
“Julie was amazing with Bucky. I have had a hard time finding anyone who has the experience to walk such a big strong dog. I’m lucky to have found someone who is capable enough to take my place when I’m unable to fit walks with him myself. Thanks Julie for taking such good care of him!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Currently being a stay at home mother, my hours are very flexible! Growing up with cats and dogs, my kiddos and I are currently lacking the fun presence of furry friends! Although my apartment is not the biggest, allowing only one dog at a time allows all of my attention to be focused. If pets are to stay overnight you can expect daily walks, trips to dog parks and most likely a bath if we get too ambitious. I am an adventurous person that believes dogs have individual personalities and unique characteristics that should be embraced and loved. Allowing pets to cuddle up on the couch MAY be negotiated because I am a sucker for puppy eyes. I am currently a stay at home with my three kiddos. I home school, so including a dog in the mix is so much fun for us! We often go on walks and trips to the park. I have a fenced yard, doggie door for easy outside access and loving, gentle kids to keep your animals company with lots of love and play.
“Oli has been such a help for both overnight house sitting and quick workday walks. She is respectful of all my requests, very communicative and helpful. Best of all, she is so great with my large, energetic German shepherd dog. I’m so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her services.”

“It was awesome going away and knowing Peter was in the comfort of his own home with a very caring person. Courtney sent us updates and pictures/videos the entire time. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Peggy is sooooo amazing. AMAZING, AMAZING AND AMAZING !!!! I have yet to meet a dog walker who treats someone else's pet like her own. Peggy went above and beyond by how attentive, caring, and loving she was. And Daisy simply adores her.”
About: I’ve grown up with pets! I love snuggling with my dog and giving her love. I’ve watched my friends’ dogs, cats, and even collected some chicken eggs! I’m more than comfortable with animals and taking care of them. During the school year I take classes at the local Junior College a few times a week. During the Summer months I’m working on improving myself through hobbies at home. I take caring for my friends’ animals very seriously. It’s important that your pet is healthy, happy, and cared for even when you’re not around to.
About: I have been walking dogs everyday for most of my adult life! I know how important it is for dogs to have daily exercise for physical and mental health. I am newly retired and ready to have fun walking your dog. My schedule is very open and I can even walk your dog on weekends. I have experience with all size dogs and personalities. Let me know what your dog enjoys most on walks and I can do the same.
“Amanda was great. I needed a last minute dog walker as I was leaving for a work trip and she was immediately responsive and was able to connect with my neighbor to make sure everything went smoothly. I will definitely be using her in the future, as needed, and would highly recommend.”

“Zach has been great. We wanted a walker for 6 weeks while my granddaughter recovered from medical issues. Our rambunctious 70 lb. Golden Retriever juvenile (to big to be called a puppy) loves walking with Zach. He gets sooo excited when Zach arrives! So excited that Zach sometimes has to help get the leash on. All of us will miss having Zach walk Angus.”

About: I have lots of practical experience with dogs. I have owned dogs my whole life and have dog sat for family and friends. I am able to do all of the necessary tasks in order to take care of your furry friend, up to and including: playtime, feedings, walks, and cleaning up after them. I do work a full time job but I do have some flexibility on the weekdays/weekends. Wednesday: anytime after 1pm Friday: 11:30-12:39, and after 4:30pm Saturday: anytime after 12pm Sunday: available all day I am not able to offer my home for pet care as I rent the home I live in and my landlord does not allow any pets. I am able to come to your home, so long as detailed instructions on how to care for your pet are provided.
“Torrie was great! Both of my dogs liked her right off the bat and I felt very comfortable letting them go out for a walk with her. Would definitely love to have her take care of Mack & Luna anytime!”

About: I've had 2 cats and 1 dog in the past, and now have Taylor, an 18 month old Standard Poodle. Additionally I have cared for numerous cats and dogs in my lifetime. I am very patient and loving, and always put the pet's safety first. I enjoy interacting with pets, and making sure their needs are met. I love to walk and be outside, and walking with a dog is a lot of fun, as long as I have plenty of poopy bags! I am extremely responsible, honest and friendly. Your pet will have a great time with me! Currently I am working part time in Santa Rosa, with a flexible schedule to accommodate pet care. Talking walks, or giving potty breaks, is easy for me to do. When caring for your pet(s) in your home, making drop in visits or walks, I am extremely respectful of your house, your stuff, and your privacy. Responsible could be my middle name. I always strive for pet satisfaction and safety!
“Blake is so good with our two young, high strung dogs. On the days they go on walks with her, they are so much happier when we get home from work and behave much better after getting some energy out during the day. Blake is patient, kind, communicative and trustworthy. Thank you ❤️”

Stony Point dog parents share their Rover experiences
We love Marianna! She is sweet, caring, and helpful. We had inspectors coming to the house and had to have her go through the back, she was very kind and understanding. Our dog loves going out with her and he’s always super happy after their walk. We highly recommend her!
