I was fortunate enough to grow up on a farm, so taking care of animals has always been second nature to me. As a young child, I was in charge of the cats and dogs, and as I got older, my responsibilities moved onto the larger animals likes cows and pigs. I have a sweet kitty, Boris, who is just the bees knees, and I love him so much. It would be an honor to take care of your critters!

Drop-In Visits • Dec 29, 2025

Emmalene genuinely saved my cat’s life. There was a fire in our home while we were out of town and thankfully she arrived for a drop-in visit before it was too late. She called the fire department and made sure Kitty got out safe. She took Kitty home with her and took care of her like she was her own cat until I could get back the next day. I cannot speak highly enough of Emmalene and her above and beyond care; even after such a traumatic experience, I could tell Kitty felt so comfortable and safe staying with her. I cannot thank her enough for saving my cat’s life.

I am a teacher by trade, but outside of school hours, I am very flexible with my schedule. I’m happy to come before work, after work, weekends, etc.
