About: I have been petsitting and dog walking for at least 5 years, and I love getting to play, take care of, and walk animals as if they were my own. I have lots of experience with animals of all ages, energy levels, medication requirements, and general needs. All of my countless past petsittings have been word of mouth, but having relocated for school I am now hoping to meet local Petaluma pups and cats! I work during the day, but I can check on and hang out with animals in the mornings, evenings, and weekends as well as ocasional work-from-home days! I have lots of experience staying in pet owners’ homes, and with that, experience working security systems and making sure doors or gates are locked when they need to be!

About: I have cared for animals my whole life! I currently have one cat but have had dogs cats, and turtles. I am very attentive. I try to communicate with each animal on their level. It's important to me that they feel heard. Whether they're trying to show me something that interests them, or worries them. I am always watching and listening. I work part-time right now, so I have a lot of time during the week to care for your pets. We will just need to find a time that suits both out needs. Firstly, I will follow any specialized directions you give me. You know your pets better than anyone! Secondly, I've cared for pets pretty much my entire life and their safety is my #1 priority. I know how to keep an eye on them- even the mischievous ones haha!

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a German Shepherd, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and three cats taught me how important patience, consistency, and care are for pets. I started pet sitting as a teenager for family friends, and through word of mouth I quickly became a trusted sitter for pets and homes of all kinds. One of my biggest pet-sitting jobs included caring for three dogs, 18 outdoor cats, and even feeding local crows and cranes! Having lived all over the country, I've continued to find joy in caring for animals wherever I go. I treat every pet like family and strive to keep them happy, comfortable, and loved while you're away. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a young professional working a typical Monday–Friday schedule for a nonprofit organization. I'm available before and after work for walks, feedings, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also understand how important consistency is for pets, so I'm happy to use my lunch break to stop by for mid-day potty breaks, walks, or check-ins. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, cared for, as close to their normal routine while you're away. 🐾 I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine. In my clients' homes, I follow all feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and household rules to ensure pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I also treat every home with the same respect I would my own, keeping things clean, secure, and well cared for.

About: I have currently been training and walking dogs since 2008. Before that I worked at a dog boarding facility for 3 years. I have grown up with dogs and currently have a pitbull, GSD, husky mix as well as our 1 yo gray tabby. I currently work as a dog trainer and walker. Any time not spent with my clients is spent with my wife, daughter, and our two animals. Any care in your home will be to your specifications. I believe in respecting what is yours and how you do things. Your home is your castle.

About: I have been professionally caring for dogs and cats in-home for about 5 years part-time, but I was raised in a home that routinely took in stray and surrendered animals. I am a lifelong vegetarian and 10-year vegan with a deep love for all creatures. In addition to caring for animal companions, I like to leave homes better than I found them. Whenever possible, I do some light housekeeping so that when folks return from their trips, they come back to happy animals and a cozy home where they can just put their bags down and crawl into a bed! PLEASE NOTE: Any requests (by folks I’ve never worked with before) to book additional time off of the Rover app will be declined. This is a safety issue for both parties — I do not enter strangers’ homes without safeguards and advise against folks needing pet sitting services to allow strangers into their home without safeguards. Rover is a means to provide that safety measure prior to establishing a trusting relationship. My posted rates are firm. I ask that folks not haggle or try to negotiate an initial pet-sit off of the app for a cheaper rate.
