About: Over the course of my life, I have gained extensive experience in animal care. My expertise encompasses a diverse array of species, including, but not limited to, kittens, puppies, adult mammals, and reptiles. As I do not have children and stay at home, I have flexibility throughout the day. I am available from approximately 10:00 AM after my morning routine until around 11:00 PM. Although my yard is fully enclosed, it does feature a pool. My house is in close proximity to a dog park, which offers abundant opportunities for outdoor engagement with your canine companion. I am fully prepared to comply with all guidelines you establish for your residence, as I recognize the significance of clearly defined parameters.

“Katie is a wonderful find. She came to our home first to meet the guy, see the house, put up with my stories of his fabulousness. Then her evening and morning 1-hour visits were 1) absolutely on time as agreed, 2) featured many photos of his various activities, 3) the completed checklist of meals, litter box, etc. and 4) great info on his behavior, especially since this was the first time she cat-sat. That he hissed at her on first visit, was chill and lovey on his second (sounds like him). Katie has made it her business to know as much as she can about cat behavior (she is a cat owner), such as why female cats may like their rumps rubbed while my male cat might not. She is also just a lovely, attentive, curious person. So glad she's in the neighborhood.”

About: As Confucius said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life." I began pet sitting throughout high school and from there my passion for animals grew. I am currently employed as a veterinary assistant although my ultimate goal is to attend veterinary school one day! I love being able to help families and their fur-babies. I am comfortable with administering medications and injections (such as insulin). I have cared for medically complex senior furry friends. I am currently taking a leave of absence from work and therefore have more free time available to pet sit! Pet sitting for family, friends, and pre-existing clients is currently my full time job until I return to my vet assistant role 😊 When caring for pets in their own homes, I like to keep things very neat and organized. I will typically wash bed sheets or at least remove bed sheets if spending the night. I will also bring my own groceries and supplies with me so as to not disturb the home. About: I can mirror pets energy really well: enthusiastic & playful with high energy (or when not to be) mellow and nurturing with senior pets. I have taken care of sizes and breeds of dogs and many cats as well. I send daily updates with photos and videos to give you peace of mind while away. I love sitting and enjoy all the sweet experiences and friendships made with pets and humans. My morning starts around 6. I always have a 2 hour window to walk dogs, feed, medicate, play with pets. After a couple of hours of hanging out I will continue to work for several hours. I can accommodate noon/afternoon walks, work a couple more hours, then give dinner before going on a final walk. I take care of them with complete love as if they were my own. I respect the placement of items and leave everything as I first found it.
