About: During my time in college I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment by myself which felt a bit lonely, so I decided to sign up to foster adult cats. Because of this my experience with cats may be less than someone who grew up with them, but let me tell you: foster cats are no joke. I have dealt with any type of temperment you can think of, and administered many types of medication from pills to SQ injections. In the last 2 years I had 8 different cats call my place their home, and I wouldn't change it for anything. I have recently moved to the Bay and can no longer foster cats, so I would be more than pleased to cat sit for you!

About: I have always been good at training dogs, I have a 9 year old dog of my own and I love taking him on walks. I am currently in school locally at the SRJC, I am in school at both the Petaluma and Santa Rosa campus. I am a full time student and I also do volunteer work with Forgotten Felines and Forget Me Not Farm. Since I don’t have a job, this makes me the ideal candidate to work with your lovely sidekicks with no distraction! Working with animals is my dream, I want to be a neuro-vet, this is how I can work closely with animals in my current stage. My school hours are between 9AM-4PM M + W, and 9-11 Tues + Thurs, I will be in school during these times and return immediately to assist with your pet(s) afterward! I love making sure that animals are comfortable, I will ensure house rules are in place, and I am excellent in dog training. I love to spend time with the animals even when not required.

About: I have always loved being around animals of all kind. I have a deep trust in them because of their innocent nature, and I am deeply compelled to love and protect them. I work part-time and have a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule for the time-being. I have a young male pup named Bigelow who loves to play with other dog-friendly doggos. He and I would love the company of other dogs at our home, out on leash walks, hikes and trail outings, and on off leash beach and park playdates. Biggy adapts to the playstyle of his friends; he is a wonderful combination of fast, agile, gentle and sweet, and naturally responds to the dominance/submission of his pals. I have a fenced yard with 1 young and friendly dog, and one indoor/outdoor kitty who reluctantly tolerates the presence of dogs who do not chase after him. There is an unheated pool that the dogs will have access to swim in. The pool will not be supervised constantly so it is important to know that your sweetie can swim if necessary, and can use the stairs to exit the pool. There are sunny and shady spots, stairs, deck space, and several dirt/grass spaces for potty spots. Doggies can roam freely and play around the fenced yard space, and will have access to indoors for meals, quiet times, rest times, and when weather insists. Doggies sleep indoors/outdoors on dog beds, crates, or the couch. Doggos need to be potty trained and should be able to sleep through the night without potty access until 7 am. Your doggy will be in safe and loving hands with us. It is our duty and honor to love and protect them as our own.

I work remote so overnights, doggie-day care, and daily walks are easy to manage. Our condo only has an enclosed patio, but directly behind the patio is a big communal yard that offers a lot of space to run around and play fetch. I have trained our previous dog from a pup and know how to reinforce good behaviors with treats, repetition, and boundaries. Your dog will be well taken care of and will have all the love it can get. I will not have multiple dogs from multiple people at the same time, to avoid any conflict. However, I am willing to take care of multiple dogs from one owner. Thank you for your consideration! I work from home, so doggie daycare during the week is very manageable. Overnights throughout the week are easier than the weekend, but with advanced notice, a weekend overnight could work. I have a two story condo with an enclosed patio. There is also a large yard directly behind the patio for an easy bathroom spot and fetch area.

I grew up with a German shepard -Rottweiler mix which has given me a soft-spot for large breed dogs, but I love everything with four legs! I have been volunteering at animal shelters as a dog walker and foster home since I was 12 years old, giving me experience with a range of animal's temperments and needs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and shy dogs, and am happy to cater my skills to your animal's needs. I am available to come to your house to play and/or spend time with your dog or cat while you are away. My dog is 14 and a bit cranky so I cannot have animals in my home while she is still with me. However, I can come to your house and provide company and exercise to your dog or cat. I will stay with your pet during your absence up to 5 hours a day. I will feed, change the litter box, entertain them with walks and/or playtime. Or just sit with them and keep them company. Eventually I will be available to care for dogs or cats in my home or overnight at yours, once my girl passes on. At this time, my time is limited to 4 to 5 hours per day due to not wanting to leave my dog alone for longer than 5 hours.

About: I have cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I spent several years volunteering at a veterinary clinic and later at a humane society, where I gained hands-on experience in animal care, handling, and support. I telework so I am at home most of the day. When I do leave, my dog gets to hang out in the dog run where he has access to comfy beds, toys and an upstairs patio where he can keep an eye on all the goings-on. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a safe, secure space for dogs to run, play, or relax comfortably. With my previous experience volunteering at a veterinary clinic, I am confident and comfortable administering medications when needed.

About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!
