“This was our 2nd time with Alex and Bri and we are so happy that the pups have found their home away from home. They treat our dogs like they are their own and send pictures over frequently during their stay. I hate to say it but I think one of them wishes they were still there. I highly recommend them!”

“Alexis was great. I had to make a last minute booking and she was very prompt to arrange a meeting with my dog and I. I left Nikki at Alexis overnight and she took great care of her. She even accommodated her sleeping needs. Alexis has a beautiful property with lots of space for the doggies to run around and feel free. I will definitely bring Nikki to Alexis again!”

“Lori is the most compassionate and caring dog sitter I’ve ever met. My dog was injured while I was out of town, and she picked up and took care of my dog with such kindness and compassion. She communicated with me all throughout the day and night until I was able to make it back home. Ziggy & I are so grateful for her. I couldn’t recommend a sitter more!!! She’s amazing!!!”

“This was my first time using the Rover app and successfully finding a sitter! I chose Heather as she already had great reviews and repeat clients. My pup baby had an amazing stay with Heather and her husband! He got a lot of love a lot of play time and Heather introduced him to walking as he is still very young and hasn’t tried walking him yet! He now can go up and down our stairs after a stay with Heather….which I truly appreciate him having this new level of independence! I highly recommend Heather”

“Tamara was a great host for our dog Pikachu! She sent pictures throughout his stay and went above and beyond to make him comfortable. We were able to fully relax knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely use her for boarding in the future.”

“Lillie was wonderful, and I would highly recommend her! It was our first time leaving Bear with her- she sent lots of photos and videos which gave us peace of mind. Bear has issues with anxiety but came home a very happy boy! Thank you Lillie!”

“Our dogs have never been happier! They loved the massive fenced yard and all the playtime. I loved the photos of them romping that Dustin kindly sent often. Can’t wait to have them board again.”

“Patrick and Tony were absolutely fantastic! They spoiled our dog so much I didn't think he would want to come home with us! Couldn't have asked for better sitters! If we ever need a sitter again we will definitely go with Patrick and tony!”

“Sylvie was so great with our puppy for his first overnight away from us. She was organized, communicative and made us completely comfortable. He seems to have had a great time with her and her family.”

“I have an anxious dog, but by the end of his stay @ Lauren’s he’s always made friends, had fun, and is less anxious. Lauren and her hubby do a great job with him.”

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and the list goes on! I'm comfortable around all animals, and I absolutely adore them all! I go to school full time, but I do not have classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I can be available between classes on Wednesday and Thursday. There's lots of room for flexibility in my schedule. I will follow all instructions the owner provides. I can crate animals, take them on walks, feed, and water them, and keep them entertained throughout the day.
“Robert sent updates everyday and I knew Riley and Luma were spoiled at his house. Riley is a senior and needs eye drops twice a day, Robert was understanding and provided what she needed.”

“Tucker always love to go to the farm and hang out with his retriever buddies. Jake and Shayla are great, attentive and professional. He gets so much love there, I feel good about leaving him when I’m away.”

“Thank you Ashish! It’s not easy leaving your pet with strangers, and Maya is not the easiest dog to handle , but you were very kind and patient with her. Thanks also for the photos and video, it was so nice seeing her at ease in your home. We will definitely use you again in the future.”

“I was headed on vacation when, last minute, my family got sick and couldn’t watch my dog. Thank goodness for Rover and especially for Xi! I’ve always hated the idea of boarding my dog in a tiny kennel with limited attention unless you pay extra. That’s why I’m so grateful I found Xi and Yohanas She was an exceptional host from start to finish. She kept me updated with photos and messages throughout Osito’s stay, which gave me such peace of mind. Not only did she care for Osito like her own, she even had homemade food ready for him! He got daily walks, plenty of love and attention, and he absolutely loved playing with her sweet dog. It felt like he was staying with extended family, not a sitter. Xi and Yohanas went above and beyond, and I will 100% continue using her!”

“Deborah was fantastic! She was nice enough to accommodate us same day and could not have been nicer. We could tell instantly when we arrived that she was going to take great care of our dog Otto. She took him on walks, took him to the beach, sent lots of great photos, and even bought him some pup cups! Her children were also absolutely lovely and obviously made Otto feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend using Deborah services! You cannot go wrong!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Petaluma
Jennifer was great! She helped me out last minute to watch my 4 month old pup while I spent the day taking my daughter to tour Sonoma state and the surrounding area. She accepted super last minute and was so great with my pup all day. She kept me updated with pictures, videos and what my pup was up to.I would definitely recommend her and book her again if ever needed. Also- I had booked wrong and she noticed the higher charge and took care of changing the rate on her own. I really appreciated that as well! Thanks so much Jennifer!

XI and her mother took wonderful care of our dog Emma, who can be quite timid and anxious. They were so patient and kind, and really made her feel safe and at home. Xi sent daily updates and cute photos, which meant a lot. Knowing Emma was in such good hands allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. We highly recommend Xi!

I had a fantastic experience with Sandy! From the moment she picked Lucy up, I felt completely confident that she was in great hands. Her communication was prompt and friendly, and the regular updates and photos really put my mind at ease. Lucy came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It's such a relief to find someone as trustworthy and attentive as Sandy. I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future—thank you so much for taking such great care of Lucy!

Very happy with Ethan’s care of our dog. We are new to the area and needed care for a week while away for work. Ethan met with us over video; we had a great conversation and felt he was experienced and knowledgable, especially with high energy working breeds. We received several photos and updates a day that included pictures of our dog on walks, hikes, playing, and swimming. We got our dog back happy and healthy. We will book with Ethan again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
