About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and it would truly be a privilege to work with animals every day! Over the years, I’ve volunteered at various animal shelters and have loved every minute of it. I thrive when I’m surrounded by all types of animals — each with their own unique personality and needs. With how expensive life has become, I want to offer my services at a very low and affordable rate. I completely understand that sometimes finances can be tight, and a pet still needs care. In those cases, I’m always willing to offer my time and services free of charge. A pet’s wellbeing should never depend on money — we’re all part of the same community, and I believe in helping one another. Animals need love, attention, and exercise — and they deserve it every day. I’d love the opportunity to help keep your pet happy, healthy, and loved. 🐾 Bonus: I also have experience in leash training cats! 😺 I have a flexible schedule, so I am available anytime to assist with your pets needs! Preferably west side of Petaluma. I am also available to feed and play with your cat on a wknd if you are out of town. I currently have two cats, and they pretty much own the place. I make sure they have toys, high places to climb on, and comfy beds to nap in. I would love to own a dog, but at the moment it’s not in the cards for me as I don’t have a large enough home yet. Give yourself the Peace of mind that your pet is well taken care of while you are away❣️

I genuinely love animals and enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have experience with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, bathing, administering oral medications, cleaning litter boxes and animal areas, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I’m comfortable caring for both high-energy pets who love to play and older animals who may need a gentler approach and extra patience. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always do my best to keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free. Whether your pet needs long walks, cuddle time, medication, enrichment activities, or just someone dependable to check in on them, I’m happy to help! I pride myself on being responsible, communicative, attentive, and trustworthy, and I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. I currently work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and open evening availability for walks, check-ins, feedings, playtime, and overnight care. Because of my flexibility, I’m able to provide reliable care and accommodate a variety of routines and pet needs. I have experience with daily walks, feeding routines, litter box cleaning, bathing, administering oral medications, enrichment activities, crate routines, and providing lots of companionship and attention. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calmer environment, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them most comfortable. I always aim to make pets feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible by maintaining their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, care, and patience. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions carefully while also making sure pets receive playtime, companionship, exercise, and lots of affection. I’m very attentive to behavior changes and always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

About: Hi! A little bit about me… I have grown up with animals for as long as I can remember. From farm summer camps to taking care of neighbor’s pets to adopting dogs and cats from the local shelter, I have always loved having animals in my life. With around eight years of professional pet care experience, I offer pet walking, overnight stays and day care visits for dogs, cats and other pets. My main goals are to ensure your pet is comfortable, happy and safe, and that the owner feels the same. I understand being away from your pet is hard, so I want to provide as much comfort as possible. I have had experience with young, senior and challenging pets. I also volunteered at NorthBay Animal Services and Petaluma Pet Pals. Both were great experiences and allowed me to get to know many different pups and kittens. I’m excited to meet your furry friend! I just graduated from college at the University of Oregon and am home for a few months. I am looking for some sweet pets to hang out with and care for! My main goals are to ensure your pet is comfortable, happy and safe, and that the owner feels the same. I understand being away from your pet is hard, so I want to provide as much comfort as possible. I am responsible, reliable and gentle.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, but I’ve had experience taking care of dogs on a dairy farm which got a little rowdy at times. I’m currently starting a job that will hopefully be full-time But might be a little shaky for a couple months so I’ll have a lot of free time to walk your dogs! I have a fenced yard and two dogs that are friendly for your puppy dog to play with. And if they just need a walk I will make sure that that puppy will have the best sleep after.

About: I have had many dogs and cats throughout my lifetime. I treat all animals with love and respect and enjoy their energy. I have experience with young puppies to senior dogs and cats. My dog Addie is 14 and is winding down these days. This gives me time for exercising your dog or cat or playing and giving them quality time in your home. I am a young at heart, very active 66 year old equestrian with lots of time and energy to give to your beloved fur babies. I have good endurance and can walk hills and go on hikes. However, I am not able to walk larger dogs that pull strongly on the leash and react to squirrels, cats, or other dogs due to the concern of falling. I am retired so I am available any day of the week. I am available to walk your dog (small to medium) or senior big dogs. I am available to come to your house to play and/or spend time with your dog or cat while you are away. My dog is 14 and a bit cranky so I cannot have animals in my home while she is still with me. However, I can come to your house and provide company and exercise to your dog or cat. I will stay with your pet during your absence up to 5 hours a day. I will feed, change the litter box, entertain them with walks and/or playtime. Or just sit with them and keep them company. Eventually I will be available to care for dogs or cats in my home or overnight at yours, once my girl passes on. At this time, my time is limited to 4 to 5 hours per day due to not wanting to leave my dog alone for longer than 5 hours.

About: I love dogs and I have had dogs and I miss having a dog in my life. The favorite part of my day used to be taking Cindy for her early morning walk. I have no special training but have learned through experience to give a dog a happy and enjoyable walk. I am a retired software engineer who has time on her hands. My schedule is very flexible and can usually make adjustments to accommodate your schedule. If I were walking a dog, I would want to discuss with the owner what sort of walk they want...a brisk walk, a leisurely stroll, socializing with other dogs. If I were doing a drop-in, same thing. Do they just want company and affection for the dog or a potty break or do they want me to throw a ball in the back yard?

About: I’ve always loved dogs and truly enjoy spending time with them. I currently have a gentle, well-socialized puppy who has taught me even more about training, patience, and positive reinforcement. I know every dog has their own personality, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Whether your pup is energetic or prefers a slower pace, I’ll make sure they get the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my schedule is flexible throughout the week. I take my dog on daily walks and would love to include your pup too! Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a longer walk, or some company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I can often accommodate last-minute requests as well. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions regarding routines, feeding, medications, and walking preferences. During every visit or walk, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, gets plenty of attention, and returns home happy. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring hands.

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
