I'm a Confident Carer!
Throughout 2018 to 2020, I volunteered twice a week to walk dogs and feed cats at the North Bay Animal Shelter. I also volunteered in 2019 at Giant Steps, an equestrian center, where I groomed horses, and acted as a support for children needing physical therapy. Then, throughout this year on Rover, I have had the privilege to care for dogs ranging from 5-120lbs (12kg-55kg), so I have a variety of experience. Not with just weight class, but with different breeds and tempermants, too. I will say, I'm still learning, and some breeds, such as working breeds, are still a learning curve for me to handle. Also, not only do I have an aquarium, but I also have worked with fish (fresh and salt water), gekos, snakes, birds (chickens and a Caique), and guinea pigs! I grew up having a best friend with a farm, too, so I've been lucky to learn about all different domesticated animals!! Lastly, I am extremely confident in my ability to handle any animal someone entrusts me to look out for. Animals are our family members, and I would do any and everything in my care to make sure they're safe while on the job!

For both safety (especially safety!!!) and trust, I love following your guided schedule and routine, and as long as I have instuctions on things, there is not going to be an issue. Also, with fire season, I'd like an evacuation plan, and for any emergencies, transportation plans, please and thank you!

Erin was wonderful with both Walter and our home. From the start, she was conscientious, prompt, and a great communicator, with a kind and calm demeanor that immediately put us at ease. Before our trip, we discussed how often we’d like to hear from her while we were away, and she followed through beautifully with thoughtful updates and plenty of photos. Most importantly, Walter seemed content, relaxed, and very well cared for when we returned. Erin was also incredibly respectful of our home—it was every bit as tidy as we had left it. We’re so happy to have connected with Erin and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, thoughtful, and caring pet and house sitter. We’d be delighted to have her care for Walter again!
This was first time Erin stayed with Remy and she was wonderful. Great communication, left the house extremely tidy (even cleaned up), and Remy looked like she had an absolutely wonderful time. Would absolutely use Erin again
Erin is absolutely wonderful with our dog and our house. She is consistently in touch with photos snd updates. She follows all directions perfectly. She is great about prioritizing play time with our dog on every visit and plays as long as he wants to. I really am so impressed with the way she leaves the house after her visits. Dog bowls are clean, mail in a stack, dog blankets clean and folded, pee pads and garbage taken out. I continue to seek out Erin every time we are away!💕💕
Erin was great!! Callie seemed to have fun and I appreciated the text and pictures! Very communicative and took great care of our pup. Would have her take care of Callie again!

Programa
I'm taking a break from school, and doing pet sitting full time, at the moment! So far, it's been an absolute pleasure! I already have an Associates Degree for English, Psychology, Art History, and Art Studio. I still need to pick one to finish! I'm almost there with Geology, too! Two more classes to go for that associates degree! I really have an interest in everything, so clearly, it's been hard to pick and stick with something lolol

- First and foremost, emergency procedures. I need to know, if there is an emergency (eg a fire), where and how to transport your fur baby. Also, I would like to know exact times to feed, walk, and/or give medication. If I can follow a regular schedule, I think it would make the pet more comfortable with me and with you being away/unavailable. Lastly, I want to know if your pet(s) are caught up on rabies/other vaccines and are FIV negative. My cat is up to date on all his vaccines and healthy, but I really don't want contact with animals who are contagious with illnesses like that, sorry! My cat's safety comes first :3
