I’d love to know everything about your pets! Start of by letting me know their age, personality, temperament, medical history, feeding and activity levels. Let me know if they have any history with sitters coming in the house and how their response was. If you had a bad experience in the past, I am excited to override that for you and help you build trust while you are away. The goal is for you and your pets to have the least stressful experience each time you need to leave them and provide them with the best care possible.
A typical day
My goal is to have your pets have the smoothest experience possible. I want it to feel like when you away, they get to see their new best friend. I love coming in the house and see your pet light up and give me their excited meow or happy wag, heading us right into their favorite activity. Of course if your pet is shy, I talk softly, avoid loud noises, and focus on feeding to give them a positive association with a new person. Let me know your pet’s personality and typical response to sitters and I will accommodate appropriately.

I grew up in Petaluma with lots of different animals that built me into the animal obsessed, meticulous caretaker I am today. I want to give you and your pets the comfort and ease that makes going away joyful. I am experienced in advanced medical needs such as oral medications, ocular, topical, and insulin injections. I am reliable, consistent, and update you thoroughly throughout the stay. At the moment I specialize in kitty drop-ins, however, if you have a dog or other small animals I am happy to care for them as well. I’m so excited to meet new pets in the area and continue to provide the community with top-notch care for your beloved pets. *KITTY PARENTS: I love dropping in on your kitties!! I offer 30, 45, or 60 minute visits to do whatever they feel like...of course!! If they want affection, they will get it all. If they want to play, we will play as long as they can. I am very comfortable with cats that have special needs, behavioral quirks, and have a knack for getting shy kitties comfortable coming out and investigating a safe human early on. I am experienced with medication needs as well. No charge for additional kitties! *DOGGIE PARENTS: I am currently available for 30-60 minute drop-ins in the morning and evening. am open to all breeds and have a lot of experience with medication administration if necessary. Over the last 10 years I dove into my love for animals starting in doggie daycares and boarding facilities to becoming a fully certified groomer. Feel free to let me know if your pet needs a bath, tidy up, or nail trim and I’m happy to provide that service as well. Feel free to message me if you have any questions! What can I say that hasn't already been said? Olivia is well-loved on here for a reason! She is warm, caring and responsible. You will have nothing to worry about even if you are the most anxious type of pet parent, as I am after trying so many sitters over the years and some of them have not been great. These days I have a very shy and skittish type of kitty, he wouldn't come out at all (even after several days) for the last sitter I tried. With Liv, it's a totally different story. He not only ate well (which was an issue the last time I tried to leave him), but also he came out for his dinner while she was there, and allowed pets!! She made an effort to show that she was reading the detailed instructions I left, communicated exactly how everything went with notes and photos, and just generally has a gentle, sweet energy that would put anyone at ease. She clearly takes pride in doing things well, and it shows that she loves animals. I feel lucky to have found her to care for my little guy!
Olivia took expert care of our two elderly cats, both of whom need medication twice a day, while we were away for the holidays. She made our kitties feel safe, warm, and loved while we were away. She will definitely be my first choice for cat care for our next trip!

Olivia was wonderful - very attentive, communicative, and trustworthy. I felt my elderly special needs kitty was in very good hands, which was a huge relief. She stuck to the somewhat involved medication schedule including insulin injections flawlessly, and was very communicative about any questions or concerns. She was warm, personable, professional, and left the home clean and well cared for. I highly recommend her!
