About: I have over 7 years of working in an animal welfare setting with a background in veterinary assisting and behavior training from working at an animal rescue. About: I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter in my family—the one my aunts and uncles trust to care for their dogs when they’re away. I’ve been helping out since I was 11, so I’ve had plenty of experience with all kinds of pups, from playful puppies to older, wiser dogs. I have been doing pet/house sits across the U.S. and around the world with THS for a few years now and really love it. Pet owners have really appreciated the care and training I provide and it makes me feel good to know that an owner can enjoy their pet even more after some basic behavioral training. I work from home (patent attorney) and make my own schedule. I enjoy playing with pets and going for walks as a work break. I'm very active and enjoy running with dogs and also Onewheeling (hoverboard) with dogs that love to run fast and for long distances. It's great exercise for all of us and the dogs always come back exhausted and ready for nap time. I have an enclosed backyard patio and an extra large doggy door so dogs can come and go as they please. I can also crate dogs that are not house trained and provide frequent potty breaks/walks.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, frogs, parakeets, hamsters, fish and turtles. I volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser and learned a lot about positive dog training from that experience. I am recently retired and walk about 3-5 miles/day. Miss walking with a dog. I love cats and miss having one around. I am very responsible and will follow your instructions and treat your pets (and home if house sitting) with the same care as I would my own.
