About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) when I care for your pet I will send you updates with pictures and can communicate every good, not so good, and/or boring detail with you! I do not hesitate to ask for clarification on anything when it comes to the needs of you and your pet. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). I find it important to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet if possible. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! As the owner of a reactive dog I am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.

About: I foster animals for rescues, I also own 4 dogs myself, from puppies to seniors. I can also take care of medically fragile animals. I am open to anything. I’m currently working part time so I will be pretty wide open to care for you furry friend. When I’m not working I’m taking care of my step son and my 5 dogs rather it be hiking, long sniff walks or fun games with the dogs. I also work on basic obedience every day. If you need I can work on sit, stay, wait, loose Leash walking. I will follow all your rules to keep your pets safe. I’m really knowledgeable about keeping animals safe. You won’t have to worry when in my care.

“Michelle was amazing! I left Mylo our 1 year old puppy and Hamilton our 9 year old Frenchie who needed to be hand fed and Mylo is a handful and she went above and beyond! She even adjusted her Thanksgiving plans a bit in order to accommodate us! She is a star in our book!”

“We needed a last minute house sitter due to a cancelation and Erick was exactly who we needed. My pitty is elderly and can be a bit anxious + my 200lb mastiff tends to be shy when meeting new people, but within minutes of meeting him they were so calm and acted as if they had known him for years! His communication was great and the videos were priceless. The cherry on top was walking in the door after a long trip to find happy pups and the house looking better than we left it.”

“Penny is very kind, communicative, punctual, and clearly loves animals! I’m always nervous with a new sitter and Penny was great at easing my nerves and making me feel secure. My dog has some stomach conditions and can have trouble eating at times and Penny was so sweet trying different techniques to try to get her to eat more. She sent me lots of photo and video updates and was very considerate of my home and the rules for taking care of Daisy. She is very accommodating to your pets’ needs and does not make you feel like it’s an inconvenience for her. She is also an all around fun and kind person to be around! Will definitely be booking again with Penny!”

“We had Maryan watch our maltipoo Charlie as well as our home for a few days and Maryan was just terrific in both of those responsibilities. She updated us (at least) twice a day with photos and details of our dog's day and his overall well-being. And when we got home I could see through his demeanor that he had no stress - we think we actually interrupted his good time. Sorry, Charlie! And in terms of our home, well...it looks just how we left it....so, what more can we say? :) Much appreciation, Maryan!”

“Sofia exceeded my expectations. She constantly shared pictures of my pets and was very easy to communicate with. I truly got to enjoy our vacation because of her. I knew my let’s were in good hands.”

Panorama City pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was my 3rd experience with Tanya. First of all, she jumped in at the last minute when my original sitter had to cancel and I'm so grateful. My dogs just love Tanya and were very excited to see her again. She was very good about sending me 2 reports wtih pictures every day. The house and dogs were all in good condition when I got home. I highly recommend Tanya!

Sarah was incredible! One of my pups had a much harder time than I thought and she was patient, kind and willing to go the extra mile. When I got home the house was in perfect condition and the animals happy and fed. She was very communicative and responsive and would highly recommend!
Shaquille has an awesome personality and my dogs loved him right away. I was really thankful he was able to help out right away. It was his first time working with my dogs, and so there were a couple things to remind him about when I got home, but he was always very responsive and got back to me right away. I would 100% book him again.

Kim was excellent! This was our first time having a dog sitter stay in our home and Kim ensured it went perfectly. We never had to worry about our dogs, she sent us updates and photos consistently. She was communicative and prompt. She went above and beyond by doing some household chores as well during her stay. We would not hesitate to have Kim again.

We needed a last minute house sitter due to a cancelation and Erick was exactly who we needed. My pitty is elderly and can be a bit anxious + my 200lb mastiff tends to be shy when meeting new people, but within minutes of meeting him they were so calm and acted as if they had known him for years! His communication was great and the videos were priceless. The cherry on top was walking in the door after a long trip to find happy pups and the house looking better than we left it.

Bruna came and watched Lusi on our elopement day and she was very patient with our chaotic communication that day and all of our requests. She went above and beyond with walking our girl and was very understanding of Lusi’s excitement with so many people coming and going.

Samantha is a TRUE gem! She's extremely responsive, communicates at a high level, punctual, and wildly friendly. We entrusted her to stay in our house for a week and she did an amazing job with our pets! She sent daily pics, kept the house clean and was respectful of our things. We would highly recommend her as a pet sitter again and again! Thx, Samantha. :)

We had Maryan watch our maltipoo Charlie as well as our home for a few days and Maryan was just terrific in both of those responsibilities. :) Much appreciation, Maryan!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend Stephanie! Stephanie was an absolute lifesaver! When my original sitter canceled last minute, she stepped in within an hour’s notice to help care for my puppy. She even took the time to come over the day before to meet my pup and learn our routine, which showed her dedication and care. She’s reliable, kind, and truly great with animals. I’m so grateful for her help and excited to book her again. Thank you, Stephanie! 💚🙏🏽💕

Elhanan was amazing. I was a little nervous to leave a stranger in my house but he came before our trip and was very personable. Then during his time with my dogs he was always punctual and sent updates including pictures and videos. He really went above and beyond. We will definitely book with him again. I have 2 pitbulls that aren’t friendly (with other dogs or eachother), pull on walks, one had a bladder problem. Elhanan handled them with ease. Thank you!! -Joel

Mia is such a wonderful dog sitter! She took care of my older dog like she was her own and kept her company while we were away. It was so nice to have someone so caring. Mia was very communicative and responsible. I will definitely be using her in the future!
