“Aimee was great and attentive with walking our 2.5 year old corgi. Prompt responses and availability at short notice was much appreciated! We would definitely rebook but sadly we are moving. Thank you Aimee for your kind care 😊”

About: New to pet sitting but have a life-time of experience with dogs. Dogs seem to respond to me easily and favorably. I enjoy caring for dogs. I am fully retired so my schedule can be very flexible. I will try at all times to accomodate a client especially if a short notice request is made. I will only house sit dogs in a clients house. I will care for the dogs feeding, all necessary walks, and of course some play time.

“Alex is great with Emmy and lets her lead (stubborn girl!). He also is really responsive and flexible - great to work with to care for our somewhat reactive dog.”

About: Hi I'm Mae! I've been working with animals for the past 3 years now and have had animals of my own my entire life. I attended a technical high school specifcally to learn about training and understanding animals. Throughout my last two years there I trained a Golden Retriever to pass the Canine Good Citezens Test and now have continued to train my own rescue dog as well. Currently, I work part time at a dog daycare/boarding/training facility and majoring in Animal Behavior at UNE. As it is summer right now my schedule is pretty flexible. Due to my current part-time job as well as a summer class, I will only be available for drop in visits and walks. I'm used to taking care of all levels of energy in dogs. My first dog was pretty mellow and shy where as my current dog is super high energy and has a high prey drive. I love taking care of my friends animals (dogs and cats) when they go away and even sometimes teaching them some new tricks ;). I love to go outside and get exercise so the more energy to tire out the better!

I’ve had experience with nervous dogs and calm dogs; active dogs and couch-potato dogs. I also like to say hi to dogs who approach me on the street! I love dogs and I get so much enjoyment out of walking and snuggling them— it’s like therapy for me. Feeding and playing with them is also high on my list of things that I absolutely love. My mom Amy, fiancee Abby and I all pet sit together! One or all of us is available any time with some amount of notice! About: I'm highly dependable and punctual, and I always provide clear updates so you know how the walk went. You’ll never be left wondering—just happy to see your dog getting great care and exercise while you’re away or busy. I work a full-time job Monday - Friday, with remote work at the beginning of the week and an hour-long break each day for those local to my office in Portland. My weekends are typically open, as I have Saturdays and Sundays off work. Generally speaking, I may be able to accommodate walks before 8 am and after 5 pm throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat their space and their routine with respect. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, refreshing water, wiping paws, or giving meds—and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you're away. For walks, I tailor the pace and route to your dog’s needs and energy level. Whether they’re a high-energy pup who loves to explore or a senior who enjoys a slow stroll, I make sure they’re getting the right amount of exercise, enrichment, and love. After every visit, I send an update so you know how things went and how your pet is doing!

About: On top of being a being a pet owner since I was 11 years old and owning my own pup since I was 20 years old, I worked in a doggy day care for 3 years and volunteer at an animal shelter for 7 years. My pup has done classes starting puppy kindergarten all the way to her canine good citizen certification. I work overnights and am able from 11am to 3pm. I’m available to Monday thru Friday for walks and drop ins. This is usually a time I’m doing things at home or relaxing before work. My pup is crated but we are working on being out and about in the home. In the end, it’s all about what’s safest for the fur baby!

About: Lifelong animal lover, professional treat-giver, and belly-rub expert. Whether your dog needs long sniff-filled walks or your cat just wants someone to respect their throne (and scoop their litter), I’m your person. I’ve cared for everything from high-energy pups to couch-potato cats—and even the occasional goat or chicken. I specialize in personalized care that fits your pet’s unique needs and quirks. Special diets? Meds? Selective social skills? No problem. I adjust to their vibe and routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. While I’m newer to the Rover platform, I’ve been caring for pets for years—mostly through word of mouth and for friends, neighbors, and families who needed someone they could trust. I recently reactivated my account here to expand and connect with more amazing pets (and their humans!). I love staying active and would be thrilled to bring your pup along for beach walks, hiking trails, or just a solid game of fetch in the park—whatever suits their energy level and comfort. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time and energy to give your pet the attention they deserve. I genuinely love being around animals, and it brings me joy to care for them, whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or overnight stay. I’m happy to adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs. I believe pets are happiest in their own space, surrounded by familiar smells, routines, and cozy spots. That’s why I prefer caring for pets in their home—whether it’s house sitting or drop-in visits. It keeps things stress-free for them (and you!). Every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours feel safe, happy, and cared for—whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, playing their favorite game, or just offering quiet company. Have special requests or unique needs? I’m all ears. Let’s work together to create a care plan that feels just right for your furry friend.

About: Hi! I have been around animals my whole life and have always been the go to pet watcher/ walker in my childhood neighborhood! I just graduated college and want to fill my time before I start grad school. I am great with both dogs and cats and have a relatively flexible schedule! I am a volunteer at a elementary school half the week and do tutor sessions on Mondays for a couple of hours. Besides that I am a bartender some nights. I have lots of random free times in the mornings and nights that would be great for good walks or play time! I try my best to observe the pets behaviors along with surroundings environment to ensure that they feel safe and secure. Along with checking in with the owner to make them feel that their dog is happy and healthy.

About: I’ve cared for family dogs and a cat my whole life, including senior pets with complex needs—so I understand how important patience and gentle care can be. For the past 5 years, I’ve also pet sat for friends and neighbors, from energetic puppies to older animals needing medication or extra help. I recently moved from Atlanta to the Portland area for a full-time job, and leaving my family dogs behind was one of the hardest parts. I work 4 long shifts a week, which makes having a pet of my own tough—but I have plenty of free time, love, and experience to offer yours. Pet sitting and walking helps fill that gap in my heart, and I treat every pet like family. I work full-time Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm, but I’m available for walks or check-ins before or after my shifts. I have open availability on Sundays through Tuesdays and plenty of flexibility to offer quality time with your pet. I’m also available for overnight stays—even on my workdays, as long as I can head out by 8am. Pet care fits naturally into my life, and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. While I can’t have pets in my apartment, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home where they feel most comfortable. I offer overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks, and can help with feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I’m also happy to transport pets if needed. I treat every animal like they’re my own—keeping them safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away.
