“Sara is a fantastic dog caretaker. She has followed every single one of our needs and instructions for taking care of our pup and she truly enjoys and cares about our dog herself. We highly recommend Sara for anyone who needs love for their pups.”

“Stacia did such a good job with my boys and took them in a lengthy walk given the weather of how cold it is right now! I would highly recommend!”

“Kim's first visit went well. She took our Great Dane and our Lab for a walk. She even changed their water. Going to book our next visit right now!”

“Sara was great! She met my dog ahead of time which I really liked and She was flexible and understanding when I had to reschedule last minuet. She walked my big boy at night in freezing weather (-30 windchill) with no complaints and send me a picture of him when she left! I’m usually wary of letting other people walk my dog because he’s very large 90lb dog and strong and can be Reactive on a leash so you have to be extra cautious and Alert when walking him but Sara did great and I would Definitely use her again”

“This is our second time with Gordon! He is awesome with Nala! She loves their walks and he’s reliable and caring!”

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life! I currently have a therapy dog that works with kids and dog sit for friends and family often! I’m currently available for boarding on weekends. This summer when school is out I’ll be taking daily jobs and providing other services as well. Thanks! I have a large fenced in back yard. I have a friendly, trained therapy dog to play with your dog and keep it company too!

“Madison has been walking our dog once a week for 4 weeks and we have had a great experience! I feel very comfortable with her care of our dog!”

About: Since 2019 I have worked with puppies, dog, kittens, cats, primates, rabbits, and rodents. I have done everything from medical care, and surgical expereince to daily pet care and tasks. I have always had pets growing up as a child and had a love for all animals. My experience in Pet Care is not only from personal pet ownership, watching family and friends' animals but also volunteering at vet clinics and working in pet care for over 3 years before I moved on to healthcare which I currently am in. I currently work full time at KU Medical Center, but have my weekends free Friday Afternoons, All Saturday, and All Sunday. I love animals but do not have the time to adopt a dog at the moment, so I would love to care for and watch your fur baby if you need it! Feel free to send me a request even if it not an open day and I can see if i can move some things around! Thanks! I have a fenced-in large backyard with secured gates. I have 2 cats that grew up with our old pitbull. However, if your dog is not okay with cats I have a separate basement area I secure my cats in while watching your animal.

“Julie is very plesant with both Olive and her nervous pet owner. She is currently working with both of us to establish a relationship with Olive, who is a shelter dog that is very cautious of new people in her life.”

“Nola was very happy after her walk with Chandra. Even had zoomies. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup!”

“Matthew was great! I just needed him to take my pups to the dog park in my apartment complex while I was at work. He even sent me a few pics of their outing! Will definitely book again!”

About: Love taking long walks, and playing with my dog Toto. He is my first dog and I have had him for 10 years. I do, have someone that walks him him during the week, while I'm at work. My dog lives a better life than I do. I know it can be hard to find a good sitter for dogs or even have them be taken for a walk. Trying to find someone you can trust and not have your dog be stressed while away is hard. That's is one thing I worry for sure while I'm away. That is why now I'm joining Rover, to be able to help those who go on vacation and not worry about who will care for our furry best buds. I'm available to board your dog/cat all week, house-sitting only on the weekends. Dog walking during the week after 5pm and anytime during the weekend I have a fenced yard, my pup will keep your dog company, and prefer not to crate your dog/cat but will do so, at your request.

About: I’m a dog momma of a big teddy bear pittie, Sherman and an extremely energetic and loving German shepherd, Vera. I’ve taken care of furbabies of all sizes and temperaments! I work from home, therefore, I have all the time in the world to tend to your furbabies and ensure they are in a comfortable environment while they are away from you. I have a huge walkout basement with a fenced in, upkept yard as well! I work from home, so I have the flexibility to meet all your furbaby’s needs! I can ensure your furbaby gets daily walks and has ample time to run and play. Working from home ensures I have the flexibility to meet your pup’s needs. I have an up kept, fenced in backyard with dogs on two sides to keep your pup company. I also have my own dogs, Sherman, who is a big teddy bear and tends to stay to himself but gets along with all dog breeds as well as Vera who welcomes all friends in to the household with lots of love. If need be, I have space to keep your pup crated or your pup is more than welcome to make themselves comfy with my family and sleep in the room with us. I work from home with flexible hours and am fairly flexible with pick up/drop off times. I also provide pick up/drop off if need be. I have a fully fenced in yard and puppy gates throughout the house to ensure your pup remains in my field of view at all times. I do have play pens as well as kennels I am able to utilize if I am ever away. If your pup is not crate trained, please ensure this is brought up during out meet & greet so I can make other arrangements in my home.

“Jenny does a great job with my dog Lovey! Jenny is very warm and makes me feel comfortable asking a stranger to come into my home to take care of Lovey when I can't. She also takes GREAT pictures and sends them to me while I'm at work. It's a great midday mood booster!”

About: We are a pet-friendly homeschool family with flexible hours and lots of love to give during the day! We participate in a local 4-H club and enjoy caring for animals. With no dogs or cats of our own, we can dedicate time and attention to yours. We only take pets from one family at a time to avoid to avoid pet conflict. Specialty animals are welcome (hamsters, fish, parakeets, etc.) We have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and small birds. We have also cared for senior dogs and dogs with minor injuries. As a homeschool family, we have flexibility and time available during the daytime hours. Our kids range from age 5-13 and enjoy having pets in the home. We do have some activities that take us outside the home, but we always ensure that pets are taken care of in a timely manner within the required time frame. When dogs are boarded at our home, we have a large, open fenced backyard for play. Since we have no dogs or cats of our own, there will not be conflict with our pets. (We own parakeets and chickens, which are kept securely within their own enclosures.) When I have to leave home for an activity, I will either kennel the dog, or section off a safe portion of the house, depending on the situation. Animals with destructive tendencies when alone (chewing, getting into trash, etc.) must be kenneled when we are out of the house. Cats do not need to be kenneled unless they have destructive tendencies. At night, dogs will either be kenneled, or gated off to a specific section of the house. Our basement is largely open and can be used as well for kenneling or nightime roaming for cats. Our backyard has a chicken coop with ten hens. The chickens should not be in danger from your dogs while they are in the coop (they are well protected in a steel chicken fence), but if seeing them will cause your dog to be anxious, overactive, or they may try to attack the fence, please let us know in advance. When going to a client's home, I can administer food and water as instructed. I am also happy to spend time playing, going for a walk, etc.

“You will not find a better friend for your fur babies! There really isn't enough sunshine and rainbows for me to throw at you about Cortney. She has such a special bond with my boys. They can't wait to see her! The days that she visits, they could care less that I leave. I think they'd push me out the door if I didn't bribe them with filled Kongs. Don't think twice about leaving your furry beloveds in her care!”

“Sarah is someone who is comfortable with animals as she has grown up with several dogs and cats. She understands that an animal’s health and wellbeing are a priority for pet owners and she strives to care for each pet with gentleness and compassion. “Over the past 18 years, I've trusted Jen to care for and love, both, my furry kids AND my human kids! Jen has a heart of gold and has cared for my babies like they were her own. She is compassionate, responsible, dependable, honest, detail-oriented, trustworthy, positive, enthusiastic, and fun! She adores animals and has a huge, fenced backyard which is perfect for playing catch, getting out "zoomies" or lying in the sun. Jen also loves a good run and was a great jogging buddy for my active pup. Milly absolutely adores her, and I feel so much better on my trips knowing Davina takes such great care of her. Davina has been pet sitting for me the past 5 years, and before that it was difficult to find someone I trusted and could count on to take care of my baby Milly. In addition to being great with animals, Davina is reliable, hard-working, and always sends me pictures of Milly to help me feel at ease while I'm away. I'm so thankful to have found her to love and care for my sweet kitty. She's the absolute best - I couldn't recommend her enough!!”

Alma G.
“Alma G is very responsible and loving dog caregiver because not only she is a dog owner herself but she is a loving human being . She has the perfect personality and the right environment to care for dogs. One of her favorite hobbies is walking her dog. I do remember one day Toto (her dog) got sick . And she right away took poor Toto to veterinary office. Luckily Toto was fine but Alma was so worried about him. Toto is one lucky dog to have an owner like Alma.”
