About: I’ve never owned a dog myself, but I’ve lived with roommates who have and consider my brother’s dog to be one of mine. 😎 I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for other friends of mine for years and I’ve always loved spending time with dogs. I am currently working a part time job, mostly on weekend mornings, and I’m looking to do as many walks as I can throughout the week - Tuesday-Thursday is usually the best, but can typically find a way to make other days work I am not planning on having dogs at my place, but my apartment does have a dog park right outside my building. In terms of visiting other homes, I will always keep a close eye on dogs and make sure to follow whatever rules are in place.

Let me know how I can support your pet care needs! Full avail, work mostly from home so I can easily adapt your furry friend into my routine. Let me know atleast 2 days in advance before booking pls, much appreciated :) I’ll always treat your furry friend as if it’s my own. I’ll actually play with them, walk them and make sure they’re comfortable with me. I’ll communicate with you! I’ll just make sure I’m following through with my word ALWAYS

About: Hi! I'm David. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by dogs and farm animals. Labrador Retrievers were the family favorite, however, I rescued a Basset Hound Mix during the pandemic. One of my college jobs was working at a doggy daycare center. I was quickly promoted to manager and ended up rolling out a marketing plan for the business. It was a blast! I live in Metro Detroit (Oak Park) and am currently "funemployed" which means I have all the time in the world to take care of your furry companions! I take pride in my ability to be patient, gentle, responsible, and fun with all kinds of dogs, sizes, and ages. I have vast and diverse experience taking care of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and birds. During college, I volunteered at various humane societies and frequently dog sat for friends and relatives. I was also instrumental in co-training a Golden Retriever to be a service dog. That was a highly rewarding experience. My approach to dog care is to start with the owner and get to know the dog through their eyes. I then channel that love and devotion to esteemed care, ensuring that walks are done frequently, food is out at a responsible time, and that enough attention is spent with the dog. I'm an outdoors guy and walk whenever I get the chance, so rest assured that your dog will get a healthy amount of outside time. If you've made it this far and like what you've read, let's schedule a meet-and-greet! I take my pup for walks at least four times a day, and let her roam free in my fenced in backyard. I provide attention and care throughout the day! I'm very respectful not only of my client's pets, but also their homes. I'm very trustworthy and neat/tidy. I've dog sat in many homes both for the day and overnight. I treat other people's property as if it were my own.

“Excited to have found Katie on Rover! Layla loves her habits so we really appreciate that Katie could come feed & walk her on our normal schedule. I came home to a fed & happy fur baby.”

I'm also available for holidays or special circumstances, so don't hesitate to reach out. I'm excited to walk or even run with your dog! We will have a great time. I have experience with dogs after all types of surgery, dogs with seizures, and various medication. I'm willing to help out recovering dogs and any dogs that need special care. I'm also personal friends with my vet, so if there is an emergency, I can call him anytime. My days and schedules vary, so I can be flexible to fit your schedule as well! I can let out your dogs during lunchtime for the longer days or work, or even dinner time for the fun nights out. Let’s chat about what you need. I can handle big and small dogs confidently.

About: Hello, my name is Lauren. I am a pediatric speech and language pathologist looking for a side job that also includes my second passion (animals.) My mother is a vet and I’ve been raised around all breeds/sizes. I currently have one cat named Scout. I am flexible and always patient with animals. I have my own harnesses and leashes if necessary. I enjoy working with all animals and will care for your pets like they are my own fur babies (because I truly know how important and special they are.) If there’s anything you’d like to know about me or questions/concerns regarding your pets do not hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! I currently work full time in a school setting, 8am - 5pm, and have weekends off. During the summer months I am available every day. I am flexible with staying at your home and will treat it as my own. I am able to follow any instructions you may provide.

“Audrey I can’t thank you enough for taking care of brady! She took him for a nice long walk, was patient with his nervousness, and sent lots of pics to update me along the way. So grateful to have found you on Rover!”

About: I bring not just experience, but heartfelt understanding. I currently have two young, energetic dogs and had the privilege of loving my previous senior dog. That journey taught me the full spectrum of pet care-from playful puppyhood to the tender needs of aging companions. I work full-time in healthcare, mostly from home. With an internet connection I can work almost anywhere. My dogs are rarely left at home for more than a few hours and never left alone overnight. I give that same time and energy to your pets. I will follow whatever guidelines you prefer within your home. Whether that’s crating, sleeping on the bed, or their own special bed. I take frequent walks (if desired) and do not leave pets outside unattended.

Rhea was fantastic from start to finish! Her communication was excellent right from the beginning, and the regular updates she sent while I was away really put my mind at ease. I could tell Ace and Pearl were in great hands—and they absolutely loved her! I would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Taiye remains the very soul of patience with our nervous little blind girl Penny, bearing with her quirks and keeping her and her sister hydrated and happy. She’s been such a great match that she’s now their regular caregiver. Thanks for easing the snorts’ transition to the neighborhood, Taiye!
