About: *All earnings are going toward my senior cat’s mammary tumor surgery, thank you for your support during this time* I have hands-on experience administering both oral and injectable medications, and as the owner of a senior cat, I’m especially aware of the subtle signs that may indicate a pet is feeling unwell or in need of veterinary care. I provide attentive and compassionate care, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, brushing, and engaging your pet with play and affection. If your pet is shy or uncomfortable around new people, I will respect their space and let them set the pace of interaction. My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment that works well for both you and your pet. I’m also happy to help with additional household tasks, such as watering plants, cleaning up minor messes, or bringing in the mail. I am currently available anytime Monday through Friday and weekends to maintain the routine you have with your pets. Any changes to my schedule will be noted in my calendar. When I’ve pet-sat in the past, my routine typically begins with feeding the cat their wet food (if requested), checking and refreshing water and dry food bowls, and cleaning the litter box. When it comes to dogs, I will immediately bring them outside to go potty. Then proceed to feeding (if requested) and refreshing water. Once those essentials are taken care of, I’m happy to handle additional tasks such as watering plants, washing any dishes I’ve used, or taking out the trash. I always make time to interact with your pet - whether that means playing, petting, or simply keeping them company if they’re in the mood. You can also expect photo updates during each visit so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Caroline! I’ve had the joy of owning several dogs, and my friends often trust me to care for theirs when they’re away. I’m patient, energetic, and absolutely love going on long walks. Originally from Massachusetts, I now spend most of my time in Connecticut. When your dog is with me, you can be sure they’ll get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I enjoy visiting parks, walking paths, and trails, and I’m happy to match any dog’s energy level—whether they love staying active or prefer some cozy cuddle time. I’m here to provide loving care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and even light cleaning if needed. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’d love the chance to spend quality time with yours! About: I grew up with all kinds of animals. If they have four legs, I pretty much enjoyed to be around. Zoos are my place to experience all breeds of life. I currently work from home. About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. I’ve had 1 bird, 1 ferret, 5 cats, and 6 dogs. I’ve trained 2 Dogs to obey basic commands and good potty habits. Im available for boarding on Fridays through Sundays. I work from home on Friday and I don’t work the weekends at all. I can also be flexible during week days as needed. About: I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs for the past 6 years, and I currently am working at a vet hospital and have been in the field for a year in September. Before that I was working at a kennel, as an assistant. I have had a lot of experience with all different types of animals and know how to handle them. I work at a local vet. About: I have been handling and training dogs at daycares, puppy and adult day schools, and pet stores for over a decade, and I’m currently working on my certification through the Karen Pryor Academy for professional dog trainers. I prioritize safety and the use of positive reinforcement to keep dogs physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, and I particularly enjoy helping fearful dogs become more calm and confident with clicker training. Right now I’m in the process of writing a business plan for my own company, so my availability is wide open for the time being. I am gentle, but firm and consistent. I use treats and other rewards paired with a marker to reinforce and shape the behaviors I want, and will use ‘time outs” to enforce necessary boundaries. Your dog will not pull me or get away with problem behaviors, but I also make sure not to be scary and to spend more time rewarding them when they do well. My home now has a large area with a 4ft chain link fence and a smaller potty area with a 6 ft stockade fence that exits from the basement for jumpers, puppies, and reactive dogs. I’m 20 yards away from a system of trails that I can use to hike dogs, as well as being in a neighborhood that can be used to work on distractions.

About: Hello! My name is Meghan and I have a love and passion for all kinds of animals. I am currently a part time veterinary assistant and am available for walks and drop-in visits. I have never known a life without pets. Growing up, my family always had dogs, including two German Shepherd police K9s and even a dog who used a wheel chair. Having both working dogs and pet dogs in the house has given a firm understanding of the differences between them, as well as helped me to feel comfortable around multiple different breeds. I have also bred and whelped both German shepherd and Labrador retriever puppies. Currently, my husband and I have two Labrador retrievers, five cats and four goats. I would love to take my passion for animals and turn it into a business one day, which is why I decided to start on Rover. While I’m living in New London over the summer, I’d love to look after your furry (or not so furry) family members! I’m an elementary school science teacher on break for the summer, so I have plenty of time to look after your animals! About: As a married pet sitting duo, we have a combined 20 years of experience! Lily grew up with cows, goats, chickens and rabbits. More recently, Lily has cared for two American Short Haired cats, Del and Cal. Michael grew up with dogs big and small. He knows how to care for larger active breeds as well as small posh breeds. Coming together, we have adopted our first pup- Odin. He is a sweet Doberman pup! Our schedules are offset from one another. Therefore, you cat or dog will be watched over safely and at all times. We promise your pet is in good hands! We respect that people are different; and so the way you take care of your fur baby may vary from person to person. Please let us know any accommodations your pet may need so we can properly take care of them! From young to old pets we are ready give them the proper care they need. We live in a large home with a big backyard. If your pet needs it’s own room during its stay or needs lots of exercise we will have no problem providing that.
