About: Hi, I’m Rae! I’m a pet-obsessed U.S. Navy veteran, professional dog groomer by trade, and lifelong animal person with hands-on experience caring for animals of all types, sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Growing up, I had all kinds of animals to learn from, from small pets to much larger ones. Working professionally with dogs has taught me patience, how to read body language, recognize when a dog is stressed or uncomfortable, and adjust my approach to help them feel safe. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, nervous dogs, high-energy breeds, and multi-pet households. At home, I have an Australian Shepherd, a Miniature Schnauzer, and three cats of my own — and I would absolutely have more if I didn’t have a husband to keep me in check. My schedule varies throughout the week, which gives me flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and overnight care. When I’m caring for your pet, I’ll make sure their normal feeding, potty, exercise, medication, and bedtime routines are kept as consistent as possible. I’m also happy to accommodate pets who need a little more structure, extra exercise, or simply more one-on-one attention. Safety is always my first priority. As a professional groomer, I’m very comfortable reading animal body language and recognizing when a pet is nervous, overwhelmed, or needs space. In my home, I have a securely fenced yard as well as resident dogs and cats, so introductions and interactions are handled carefully rather than assuming every animal will immediately be best friends. Pets can be separated for meals, downtime, or whenever needed, and I’m comfortable using crates or pens when that is already part of their routine. In a client’s home, I’ll follow your normal routine and house rules as closely as possible so your pet can stay comfortable in their own environment.

About: I have years of animal training under my belt and have had dogs my entire life. I have currently have an old Jack Russell and a cat! They love other dogs, so it’s been fun hosting over the past 10 years! We like to go on frequent walks, hikes, swims and anything else your pup enjoys. I do have little kids in the house, so the dog must have experience with children. Please note the following; **I do not accept puppies to board in my home** ** I require a meet and greet prior to accepting any new clients!** **MUST be cat friendly- This means has been around a cat** Any pick up that is more than 45 minutes late will incur an additional late pick up fee. I currently work part time- so I am home most of the time. I can let your dog out every 2-4 hours in our yard when I am not working. Daily walks outside. I have a dog friendly cat and a pet friendly house! I have a gated dog area with an open door crate for a safe space or quiet area.

About: I've had cats since I was about 4 years old, and trained my own service dog (adopted as a senior from a pound) from 2016-2023, when she sadly passed. I've taken care of a range of pets belonging to family, friends, and family's friends and coworkers. I can handle pets of all ages, from kittens/puppies to senior animals, as well as working on training and house-breaking. I'm currently only working part-time with very few hours, so pet care is honestly how I'd like to spend my spare time and make my income. I'm very focused on the details of individual pet's care. I always make sure I understand the feeding schedules and amounts, how often the animals need to go outside, whether they can be off-leash in a fenced in area or if they need to be on an outside line or on a leash, whether or not cats go on walks, and I'm very careful to not leave human food around for them to get into. About: I have volunteered with a dog rescue for the last years working with a variety of different dog breeds, ages, sizes, and behavioral issues. I also have 2 years of basic obedience dog training through that rescue, especially working through behavioral issues such as fear and reactivity. I also currently work as a Doggie Daycare Attendant. I currently work part-time as a doggy daycare attendant. I have 3 of my own dogs, as well as a foster dog. My mother in law lives with my family so there is almost always someone home, especially so for potty breaks. All of my dog remain crated while unattended. Potty breaks as as frequently as needed, especially with my senior dog. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have long leads for outside and dogs are never left unsupervised outside.

About: i’ve have many types of breeds. i currently have two border collies and love working with animals. i can’t wait to meet yours, im excited it’s in my everyday routine , i have a very hyper breed so they are very active. i wake up and my dog is the first thing i take of , and i do the same throughout the day. i make sure she’s taken care of before other things. i do what is more comfortable for the dog , if they are hyper i’ll play with them until they are tired. if they are calm dogs i’ll feed them and make sure they are cared for either way.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. I’ve had 1 bird, 1 ferret, 5 cats, and 6 dogs. I’ve trained 2 Dogs to obey basic commands and good potty habits. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have always loved being around them. My girlfriend and I have an Australian Shepherd of our own who’s a huge part of our family, so I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pup. I’m the go to dog sitter for friends and family, one of my friends even calls me the “dog whisperer.” I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, whether they love to play or just want someone to hang out with. With that my dog is on a good routine, 7am-7:30am she goes potty 8:30am-9am breakfast 10:30am-11:00am she goes for her first walk for about 30mins to 1.5hours depending on the day Between 12:30pm-4pm we do about 5-10mins of mental stimulation training 5pm-6:30pm she gets dinner and an after dinner walk 7pm-the rest of the night we chill I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run around! The doggos can run around and play with each other or train.

About: I'll be honest, I am doing this because I need extra money. But I want to make extra money spending time with your pets because I love being around animals and I want to spend actual time with them giving them love, exercise, and a good time. I am able to spend actual time with them as I am a teacher and do not work during the summer. Animals deserve to be shown affection as much as possible throughout the day especially when a lot of their time is spent waiting for owners to come home. About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.
