About: Hello! My name is Meghan and I have a love and passion for all kinds of animals. I am currently a part time veterinary receptionist/assistant and am available for walks and drop-in visits Sunday through Wednesdays. I have never known a life without pets. Growing up, my family always had dogs, including two German Shepherd police K9s and even a dog who used a wheel chair. I have also bred and whelped both German shepherd and Labrador Retrievers. My husband and I currently have two Labrador retrievers, four cats and four goats. I would love to take my passion for animals and turn it into a business one day, which is why I decided to start on Rover. About: I love animals & have had many--from turtles & fish to cats & dogs & goats. Its such a pleasure to tend to them & just be with them. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. About: My veterinary assistant experience with small and large animals sets me apart as I keep a close eye on your animal’s health and well-being. I am not easily spooked, but I want your pet to receive the best care I can give. I am not a trainer, but I am comfortable dealing with some pets with behavioral issues. I want to create the safest and most comfortable environment for your pet, your sanity and myself! I currently work four days a week and have a three day weekend. I am looking to pet sit for people who are going on a short trip or need routine weekend care. I can be flexible with week nights, but it will need to be established well in advance. I am looking to house sit in the owners residence. My cats would not be happy to have any new comers to our family. I am very punctual with breakfast and dinner time, and I am typically one to spend time wherever the pet would like to whether that be indoors or outdoors!

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. I’ve had 1 bird, 1 ferret, 5 cats, and 6 dogs. I’ve trained 2 Dogs to obey basic commands and good potty habits. Im available for boarding on Fridays through Sundays. I work from home on Friday and I don’t work the weekends at all. I can also be flexible during week days as needed. I take my dogs for walks every 3 hours or at their request. We play fetch and tug-o-war in my backyard. My basement is a complete doggy daycare.

About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.

I am available daytime and overnights! My schedule is flexible and will allow me to provide your pet with the the care and attention they deserve. About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. Not a veterinarian, just an animal lover with a lot of compassion!! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: Hi, My name is Brooke I go by Seven and my entire life has been surrounded by animals, from catching frogs, lizards, feeding the squirrels and always just having that touch even with the animals that don't trust or care for most humans. I have that special something. I started walking the whole neighborhoods dogs when i was 9 years old, i would walk up to 5 at a time. At the age of 13 i started volunteering for an animal rescue fostering dogs and cats. I was the girl growing up all my friends would bring stray or lost animals too. 16 i started working as a vet assistant, at 18 working a 150 dog ranch/doggie daycare and boarding facility to then move on into my early twenties working a place in Seattle called Dogwood Play Park, the first of its kind. It was an indoor outdoor 21 plus play park and daycare. Owners could bring their dogs to play while they had a beer and got to know other dog lovers, I built many beautiful dog... and people friendships there. I have always been told by the owners they that their dogs listens to me better..I say its just cause i am alpha pack leader!! I have massive respect and love for all animals. I worked in Portland Oregon on a farm in 2022 called Trisklee farm where i cared for all the animals on the property as farmer seven, i did weekend tours of the farm and helped run kids summer camp.I am very good with all ages and types of animals. My biggest strength is animal body language, i can read an animals move before they do it. Something i have picked up over my life span over working with animals everyday. I can administer medications and very aware of your pets behaviors to make sure they feel the most comfortable at all times. I owned guinea pigs, giant Flemish Rex rabbit, cats, and just recently lost my best friends Clyde who was a mastiff Doberman this June , he was almost 12. And Alice my English mastiff who was almost 11 back in 2023 . large breeds are my specialty. I just had a new born on July 29th 2026 and have a year and a half year old as well. I am a stay at home mom who misses her pets and want my children to grow up around animals without making the commitment right now to add to the family. So being good around children who are young and learning boundaries is a must so we don’t put your pet or my children in an uncomfortable or dangerous situation. About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood so I am very good with dogs and knowing how to care for them. I would walk our family dog and take him to the park and I was always very excited to do so. I’m currently attending college and I care for dogs and cats as a fun job when I’m not studying. My weekends are pretty much completely open for dog sitting, walking, feeding and whatever else your dog needs. I will care for your pets with love and affection. I will make sure they are well taken care of when they are with me. Whatever you need me to do for your pet I will make sure to do. I want them to be happy and comfortable in my care. I currently go to CT state college so I am busy 4 mornings out of the week, but it’s not all morning and nights I am almost always free. Also, I am free all day Saturday and Sunday to care for your pets. I live in a house so I have a lot of room for your pets to play. And if I am in your home I am very respectful of your house, animals and belongings and will treat it with the same care as I do for my own.
