About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.”

About: I am a reliable, responsible adult seeking to make a little extra cash. I am 26 years old and have my own means of transportation. I have 13 years of animal care experience. I have had dogs and cats since I was 3 years old. I am well versed in caring for animals both big and small, young and old. I am an animal lover and whisperer. I have also been around livestock such as horses, goats, and chickens. I would love to help you out and take care of your dog(s) or cat(s) and make sure they are happy and healthy every time I am done walking them, pet sitting them, or just making a quick stop to play with them. I tend to take animals I pet sit on walks and play with them. I will treat your animals with love and respect and like they are my own. They will be spoiled and given the extra attention, walk, or care they may need. I have references if need be. I treat every single animal that enters my care as if they were my own pet. I understand that our pets are much like family, and our babies in a way. I work full time in the nanny industry. I am pretty flexible and can stop in for afternoon, or even night visits. I love animals, and would love to take care of your 4 legged friends while you're away. I take all dogs out on a leash to ensure their safety. I make sure all animals in my care have plenty of fresh water, and food available to them. I provide daily updates on your pets while you are away, so you never have to worry about them. I am reliable, and a genuine animal lover, and will treat your 4 legged babies like my own.

About: Current dog mom. I treat my dogs and animals as my kids. I would do the same for any animal put in my care, as I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your pet. No dog to big or small, I have experience with all breeds and temperments. I can assist with nail trimming, administering medications ect. I offer walking and or running. Familiar with many different dog friendly parks and trails if preferred over the typical road walk. If they enjoy swimming I know many dog friendly spots. If they need a doggy playdate, my pups will gladly welcome in a friend. I am a current night shifter so I have flexible hours and a rotating scheduel. My job allows me to have a flexible schedule. I am always doing something outside or activities with my own dogs which allows me to offer the same care to your pet at the same time. I have a large fenced in backyard. My home sits in a very private secluded area, far from any main roads, noise or traffic. I like to keep your pets in the same routine as if they were home. If they are used to being crated I have crate available. If they are free range through the home my house is already pet proof.

Great experience using rover for first time. I couldn’t walk my dogs because of ankle surgery. Ashlyne responded right away and came over on short notice and walked my two dogs, an 11yrs old black lab and an 1yrs old black lab / Belgian malinois mix. They both liked her and went walking with her with no hesitation. Plan to use Ashlyne again and highly recommend her.

About: I am a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated from Becker College in 2021. My passion for animals is my drive. I currently work at a non-profit veterinary clinic with low-income cost options. I truly feel like I am doing a great thing! Because I’ve been a technician for 5 years, medications etc. are no issue! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
