About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life. Since 2013, my family has had a German Shepherd, and I was actively involved in his daily care and training as he grew up. Through that experience, I became comfortable with everything from basic obedience training to managing routines, walks, and general behavior. I’ve also helped care for my brother’s two dogs on multiple occasions, including feeding, walking, and spending extended time with them. I’m confident handling dogs with different personalities and energy levels, and I’m used to adapting to their needs and following specific care instructions closely. I currently work as a Graduate Assistant in the Philosophy Department at UConn. Over the summer, I’ll be continuing my research from home. I may need to be on campus once or twice a week, but otherwise I’m generally available throughout the week. I also spend a lot of time outdoors trail running or going on long walks, so I’m happy to give active dogs plenty of exercise if needed. I’m available for boarding any day of the week and can usually accommodate bookings with very little advance notice. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I provide a calm, attentive environment where pets are supervised and cared for consistently throughout the day. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, training cues, and any special care needs such as medications or behavioral considerations. During walks, I am very mindful of surroundings and keep dogs safely leashed at all times. In my home, dogs are treated as part of the household and given a comfortable, low-stress environment with plenty of attention and exercise as needed. I also make sure to provide regular updates so you can feel confident and informed while you’re away.

About: I love animals & have had many--from turtles & fish to cats & dogs & goats. Its such a pleasure to tend to them & just be with them. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. I am a freelance worker which gives me ample opportunity to accommodate to your pet's and your schedule needs. I have a very flexible schedule. Since I myself have had stay-in-sitters for my pets; I know how important it is to have a truly attentive & responsible sitter in order to relax while you are away. While you are away I will ensure that your pets daily feeding, walking & companionship needs are met. WE will have such a great time together!

We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! About: My true passion is making sure rabbits get the spoiled life they deserve! It is important to understand rabbit care and their specialized needs. I have two bonded bunnies of my own and volunteer weekly to help bunnies in need. I've care for cats and rabbits most of my life and very passionate about their well-being. I have had rabbits and cats for almost half of my life! I treat all animals with respect and like they are my own! About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. Also open to walking more than one dog at a time! I have a 8 year old Shihpoo that is very dog friendly! I also have two indoor cats! Let me know if he can join on the walk with your dog! I would prefer walking dogs around the lake, but I am open to going to new neighborhoods, trails, or dog parks!
