About: I have always loved all types of animals! I have taken a few classes at UConn for canine and feline behavior and one animal training class. I own a cat currently, and I own and have alot of experience caring for tons of exotic animals from reptiles to amphibians and small mammals. I am very comfortable around all types of animals and I am excited to meet and care for your pets! I have volunteered back at home in NYC for SI Hope to care for kittens and older cats. I have done multiple dog volunteer days at the ACC so I am experienced with handling dogs and puppies alike. I’m also reliable, responsible, and will always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. I am a seasonal worker so during the year I am a full time student. I have one to two classes a day as it's my senior year. I will have plenty of time to care for your pet and give them company! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority! When caring for pets in their own home, I will follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. I’m responsible, attentive, and respectful of both your pet and your home, and I’ll make sure you can feel confident that your pet is in great hands while you’re away!

About: I am an animal science student at UConn and currently ride on their equestrian team. I have trained my own two dogs while learning from a professional trainer and now I train and sell horses along with house sitting dogs and cats here and there. I am available most days to walk, run, or visit your cat or pup until I go back to college. I am currently not working another job so my schedule is open. I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting before I came to college and during the summer. I have my own two dogs back home that are part of our family and a cat! I love spending time just chilling or playing with my dogs but we also go for runs, walks, and mountain biking together so I can fit into whatever your dog needs!

About: I love animals & have had many--from turtles & fish to cats & dogs & goats. Its such a pleasure to tend to them & just be with them. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. I am a freelance worker which gives me ample opportunity to accommodate to your pet's and your schedule needs. I have a very flexible schedule. Since I myself have had stay-in-sitters for my pets; I know how important it is to have a truly attentive & responsible sitter in order to relax while you are away. While you are away I will ensure that your pets daily feeding, walking & companionship needs are met. WE will have such a great time together!

About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. I would always make sure the pet is safe, loved, and well cared for. I live with my husband and son who are both animal lovers as well.

About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

About: My true passion is making sure rabbits get the spoiled life they deserve! It is important to understand rabbit care and their specialized needs. I have two bonded bunnies of my own and volunteer weekly to help bunnies in need. I've care for cats and rabbits most of my life and very passionate about their well-being. I have had rabbits and cats for almost half of my life! I treat all animals with respect and like they are my own! Currently in school for dental hygiene and looking to fill the extra hours in my week helping with pet care in my spare time! I volunteer weekly with rescues. I love working with animals! About: I have been working with animals for many years. I have done lots of overnight pet sitting, walking, and dealing with medical needs. I have always had a passion for animals of all sizes. I have experience in giving medications, dealing with dogs with different temperaments, and dog training. I am currently in school during the mornings, but am free all afternoons to play with your pups! I am available for overnights and fully available on weekends! I currently have one dog. I do have a large fenced in yard which provides a great space for animals to run around and play in. I live in a super clean household that does not have any hazards towards animals. My dog is part of the family and is allowed on all furniture as well as beds.

About: The go-to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors! I have experience with kittens, puppies, aged and moody feline friends and senior dogs, and loud pups with lots of energy! I do accept some boarding and daycare requests for puppies & dogs, please note the yard is unfenced but is 2 acres and all outside time is supervised or leashed depending on needs. About: I’ve volunteered on and off since I was eight working with cats and dogs! I’ve always had a bond with them and I love working with them. Over covid my mom and I decided to start fostering so I was able to really get a first hand experience with having a dog live with us. All of them required different needs and TLC so I feel like I have lots of experience with working with all animals with different backgrounds. I also have a cat and a dog of my own! The last couple of pictures is Marshmallow, my high school science teacher’s pet bird that bonded with me! Now I go in every April and take care of her when he brings her in. I love all animals from walking to flying! I work part-time right now and I have availability any time Saturday and Sunday. During the week I’m available after 5:30! I get my schedule every Sunday so I can be super transparent to you about what my schedule looks like! I walk my dog 2-3 times a day. When I’m not at school I make sure to feed her at her dinner time and take her on her after dinner walks. With my cat, I make sure he’s well fed and happy and clean his litter box at least once a day. I have lots of experience with variations of personalities in cats and dogs and would treat your pet as if it was my own. To make sure your pet receives the ultimate treatment, I would want to make sure I know their needs and may ask for a list of the things he/she needs. I cant wait to look forward to meeting them!

About: I have volunteered with a dog rescue for the last years working with a variety of different dog breeds, ages, sizes, and behavioral issues. I also have 2 years of basic obedience dog training through that rescue, especially working through behavioral issues such as fear and reactivity. I also currently work as a Doggie Daycare Attendant. I currently work part-time as a doggy daycare attendant. I have 3 of my own dogs, as well as a foster dog. My mother in law lives with my family so there is almost always someone home, especially so for potty breaks. All of my dog remain crated while unattended. Potty breaks as as frequently as needed, especially with my senior dog. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have long leads for outside and dogs are never left unsupervised outside.

About: I have 4 dogs of my own. I absolutely love every single kind of animal. I am very passionate about animals. I dog sit my best friends dogs & co workers dogs as well as family pets. I work Sunrise hours Tuesday-Friday. I’m off of work by 11am and have the rest of my morning & afternoon to take care of my babies & play with them as well as take care of anyone else pets. All 3 of my dogs are very friendly. I have 1 dog who is a small cranky old lady with no teeth but she’s usually laying in bed relaxing while the other dogs play. My back yard is semi fenced in. The whole back portion is fenced but you are able to go to the front yard from the sides of the house.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood so I am very good with dogs and knowing how to care for them. I would walk our family dog and take him to the park and I was always very excited to do so. I’m currently attending college and I care for dogs and cats as a fun job when I’m not studying. My weekends are pretty much completely open for dog sitting, walking, feeding and whatever else your dog needs. I will care for your pets with love and affection. I will make sure they are well taken care of when they are with me. Whatever you need me to do for your pet I will make sure to do. I want them to be happy and comfortable in my care. I currently go to CT state college so I am busy 4 mornings out of the week, but it’s not all morning and nights I am almost always free. Also, I am free all day Saturday and Sunday to care for your pets. I live in a house so I have a lot of room for your pets to play. And if I am in your home I am very respectful of your house, animals and belongings and will treat it with the same care as I do for my own.

About: - Very flexible with pay -Open availability -I take the dogs out for walks every 2-3 hours -I’m very friendly and have 2 dogs of my own - I will bathe the dog(s) if they become messy - I will treat your dog like my own -I will play with the dogs and make sure they get plenty of activity - I have a huge yard - I will watch the dog at all times while outside - If it’s an emergency I can try to squeeze you in - I do some weekends (mornings) if necessary -I’m very good with communication and respond within the hour - I’m good with basic training,bathes and minor grooming -I’m also understating and very easy to get along with I am a WFH parent. During my down time I am able to take care of these dogs. I’m always home and very active in animal care. I have two dogs that remain in a separate part of the house. I have a large yard for animals to play in. I also don’t mind taking the dogs out around the neighborhood, mine or yours to explore!
