About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all types since I was 12. Besides dog, cat and house sitting, I have volunteered at several animal rescues where I have experience fostering dogs and kittens. I currently own a rescue boxer mix, named Pillow, who was one of our foster fails! I have experience working with animals of all sizes, breeds and personalities. I work from my home most of the time, so I can be flexible to accommodate your pets’ schedules for walking, feeding, play, ect. I love to run, walk and hike, I am happy to take active pets with me! I am also happy to hang out at the house with more mellow pets to keep them company. I love spending time with animals and enriching their lives. I am happy to respect house rules and work with what makes you and your pet most comfortable while you are away.

17. Carissa D.
About: I’ve taken care of my dog since he was a puppy so I know the requirements of taking care of puppies. I also enjoy exercising a lot so taking your pets on walks will be good for the both of us! I work part-time during the week but I can adjust my schedule based on when you need me to watch your pet as long as you let me know in advanced! I have a fenced yard however, I have a dog that is not great with some dogs so it is best to not care for pets in my home and rather in the client’s home.
18. Mary R.
“Mary is a kind and responsible pet caregiver. She is reliable, understanding, and has a flexible schedule. I can always count on her when my dog needs to go on a walk!”
19. Allie P.
About: I have grown up around high energy Labrador retrievers, chickens, and family cats since I can remember. I enjoy walking and doing anything active with animals! I also understand that all animals make messes indoors and outdoors and have no problem cleaning up after them, it’s part of having pets :) I’m currently a UConn college student and I am available most mornings/ evenings throughout the week. I am also around for my winter break which is a month long from mid December to mid January. I walk my two high energy labs 3 miles daily either on trails in the woods or near the water. I will also provide food and water daily. I can do any necessary grooming such as brushing fur, wiping paws, etc.
