About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I have been volunteering at Our Companions Animal Sanctuary in Ashford, where I walk dogs every Friday morning. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.

About: Like many people, I've grown up being surrounded by pets and animals. So, what other path to take than to learn how to properly care for them? Every pet and animal deserves a special amount of attention and care based on their needs. Sometimes life becomes too busy with work or personal trips. Rather than judge you, I'm here to help you. Who says life has to stop being fun when you have responsibilities? There are ways to help yourself and I would love to be there to take one more thing off your mind. Not only am I understanding, knowledgeable, and caring, but I will ensure the absolute best for your pets as they are a part of your family. I work part-time to get myself through college, but with that, I have plenty of free time where I can look after your animals. I work online, so if you need me there for a few hours if your pet has anxiety (or just peace of mind), I can be there for a few hours. If you need me there in the early morning or late evening, I can make that happen. Besides my flexible schedule, I can primarily fit pet care into the evenings and early mornings. While Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little slim for me, I can help make it work for your pets for the right price. While I would love to care for your pets in my own home or yours, I have a lovely elderly dog who can not handle the stress of other dogs being around. However, I would be more than happy to commute to your home and look after your dog(s). All I require are the basic necessities to be provided for your dog, such as food and water supplies. If you would like me to walk your dog, then I would also require you to provide a leash and/or harness.

About: I have been around all types of pets my entire life. I’ve taken care of dogs from Newfoundland’s to chihuahuas. I’m great with pets and have been responsible for cleaning, feeding, walking, and playing with lots and lots of dogs. I am a big animal person and want to do something with it in the future. In my childhood I would go to my aunts house often to take care of her 5 Newfoundland’s and bulldog. I would take my sisters chihuahua to the mountains of Colorado. Every nearby neighborhood I grew up by as a child knew me for my exceptional dog care and would want me to walk and dog sit for them all the time. It comes natural for someone when it is what they really love to do. I am currently self employed so I can make time or move my schedule around to accommodate your pets schedule needs. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.
