About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. I have always had a strong love and a passion for animals, especially dogs I am currently a college student looking to make a little bit extra money by taking care of dogs. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.

About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. I would always make sure the pet is safe, loved, and well cared for. I live with my husband and son who are both animal lovers as well.

About: I am a dog lover. I have two dogs of my own love to walk them and play In the yard. Weather it is a drop in or to walk your dog I will treat them like my own. I am a retired nurse who cares for my elderly mom and. have a lot of free time so I am flexible. I am here to help I care for my dog with love and kindness. About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.

About: I am a huge animal person and have been around dogs most of my life. I currently have a 7 year old (30lb) dog that we rescued as a puppy. She is a sweet girl and is use to having a companion (since we also had a spaniel for 17 years that recently passed away) so she is comfortable with other dogs. We also foster puppies and have experience with many different breeds and personalities! While you're away, working, or just have other plans that can't include your pet, he or she is welcome to stay with us or I can come to you. Either way, I will strive to make your furry family member feel comfortable and cared for. During the day, your pet will get plenty of attention. I currently work from home full time, which allows more flexibility with outside breaks and neighborhood walks. While I work, I will be in the same room as your pet so they will never feel alone. As far as basic care and house rules go, their feeding schedule can be flexible and adjusted to match his/her schedule at home. They are allow to roam the main areas of our home and snuggle up on the couch as they wish!

About: My name is Jen, I am an avid animal lover, dog mom, and part-time adventurer. I have my BA in psychology and have always been interested in animal behavior. I first started watching friends' dogs in 2001, then moved on to house-sitting cats and dogs. I have great experience taking care of pups and love taking them on long walks, trips to the park, the beach, and places alike. And there's always time for some positive reinforcement! About: With over nine years of pet care and dog rescue experience, I offer a level of knowledge and hands-on experience that goes beyond basic pet sitting. My background in rescue has included fostering, transporting rescue dogs, dog walking, screening adoption applications, and working with dogs of many different breeds, temperaments, ages, and backgrounds. I have extensive experience with working breeds, powerful dogs, high-drive dogs, and dogs involved in dog sports. One of the most important parts of my approach is my understanding of canine body language and behavior. I pay close attention to what dogs are communicating, respect their boundaries, and make safety-conscious decisions before a situation becomes a problem. I will never knowingly put your dog in a position where they are uncomfortable, overwhelmed, or set up to fail. I am also experienced caring for dogs with additional medical or behavioral needs, including administering oral and topical medications, providing injections, following detailed care instructions, and accommodating special routines. Whether your dog is an energetic working breed, an adventurous hiking partner, a powerful dog who needs a confident and experienced handler, a puppy, a senior, or a professional couch potato, my goal is the same: to treat them with the same level of care and attention I would want for my own dogs. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have a full time career but petsit and dog walk whenever my schedule allows.
