About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I have been volunteering at Our Companions Animal Sanctuary in Ashford, where I walk dogs every Friday morning. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.

About: I have over 10 years experience working with all different ages and breeds of dogs! We have a fenced in yard, perfect for playing and some great spots to go for a walk close by. Your pet can choose to play with any of our three friendly dogs, or enjoy relaxing in their own personal space. We can go out for as many walks per day as your pup is used to! I work from home so am available all throughout the day. I currently work from home, so I am available most of the week days for boarding, walks or check ins. Also available occasionally on weekends. I have three friendly pups who enjoy playing gently with other dogs. We have a fenced in dog area in the yard as well as medium and large crates to use as needed. We can use a harness or collar of your choice if you would like your pets to enjoy walks while they are staying with us

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life! We had a family dog when I was growing up and I would house/ pet sit for my neighbors when they would go out of town. I currently have three fur babies. A 2 year old Cane Corso/ Stafford Terrier named Moose, a 2 year old pit bull mix named Oakley and a cat named Romeo! Having three animals under one roof has been quite the experience but I’ve loved every moment of the chaos. Since I currently work from home full time I’m available Monday- Sunday most weeks and my schedule is pretty flexible. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Working from home allows me to keep a close eye on your baby and adhere to whatever potty break or play schedule you have set.

About: I originally came to Rover in search of care for my own animals while traveling pre-COVID. Leaving them can be hard and I understand wanting to hire someone who will love them and treat them with the same care as you do! It’s so incredibly important to find someone you trust to be responsible for family and your home. I currently have 2 cats that I rescued and am proudly a dog aunt to every dog in my neighborhood! Every week I get photos of pups sitting outside my house looking for me to come outside and play with them while on walks with their owners! (See my photos!) I had dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters growing up and totally believe that pets are part of the family who deserve to be treated as such! I’ve fed, walked, bathed, played with, and helped train lots of animals over the years. I also have experience caring for cats and dogs with special needs, including medications, ear drops, eye drops, and special diets. Watching pets age can be so challenging, and I understand wanting to only leave them in the hands of someone who cares to gently support them. I also lived with a black lab puppy and know how much work a puppy can be, but the snugggles and kisses are all worth it! I am also an avid gardener and happy to take care of your plants and bring in the mail while you’re away. I currently work full time (8-4pm) but am happy to hang out with or walk your pets early in the morning, after work, and on the weekends! I am unable to do any visits during the workday but with a bit of advance notice, I can make almost any evening or weekend work. My cats are quite spoiled and enjoy their quiet life, so I can’t take any back animals to my own house. In others’ homes, I am always respectful of their property and space, and thoughtful for their pet and home’s safety.

About: - Very flexible with pay -Open availability -I take the dogs out for walks every 2-3 hours -I’m very friendly and have 2 dogs of my own - I will bathe the dog(s) if they become messy - I will treat your dog like my own -I will play with the dogs and make sure they get plenty of activity - I have a huge yard - I will watch the dog at all times while outside - If it’s an emergency I can try to squeeze you in - I do some weekends (mornings) if necessary -I’m very good with communication and respond within the hour - I’m good with basic training,bathes and minor grooming -I’m also understating and very easy to get along with I am a WFH parent. During my down time I am able to take care of these dogs. I’m always home and very active in animal care. I have two dogs that remain in a separate part of the house. I have a large yard for animals to play in. I also don’t mind taking the dogs out around the neighborhood, mine or yours to explore!
