About: I’ve had dogs/cats since I was little so not only am I used to taking care of my own pets but other peoples pets as well. I am used to feeding, letting out/walking, and playing with dogs that are not my own. I can walk/ let out pets/ feed pets any day of any time I need to. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so stepping out to let your pets out or to visit them is no issue! I have a fenced in yard and can let dogs out to potty/run around or take them to a dog park! I give them as much time as they need to be outside and move!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and I care deeply about making sure animals in my care have a clean, safe environment where they can be happy & healthy! My pets are truly family members, and I know that others’ pets are the same for them. I’ve had experience dog-sitting for friends and family. I also have experience with medically complex pets, which included caring for them post-surgery, and administering medications for their entire lifetime. I’m very good at following instructions, and absolutely love being with any pet! I’m a teacher who doesn’t work in the summer. Until July 26th, I’m in a musical production and will have rehearsals from 5-9 Mon-Thurs in Ellington (with shows 7/17 & 7/24 at night and shows 7/18-19 & 7/25-26 in the early afternoon), but that is currently the only regular thing I am doing! I am experienced working with animals and know how to read their body language to determine what they may need or how they’re feeling. I’m experienced in attending to the needs of my own pets, and I am also very good at following directions left for me!

About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.

About: Hey Pet Parents! My name is Shea and I’m super glad you’re considering me to watch your fur babies while you’re away! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and I’ve been pet sitting for quite some time now. I myself have a 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog and a Green Cheek Conure. I also used to have a flock of chickens, so I’m well-equipped for any feathered friends you have! I’ve also had experience working in a pet grooming salon, where I gained extensive knowledge on signs of stress in animals as well as first-aid. I understand all pets have different needs and I’m able to take the time to get to know them and adapt to help them feel safe while you’re away! Nobody is more prepared than I am to care for your little buddies! My schedule is very flexible. I pet sit full-time and I keep my Rover schedule up to date daily! That being said, I do only accept bookings after doing a meet and greet to ensure all parties (especially your pets!) feel as comfortable as possible during the booking. I will follow any instructions left for me about your pet closely! Please let me know of any specific parts of their routine you would like me to continue during our booking. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young, always being known to be the person who asks “Can I pet your dog?”. Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. Through the years I’ve done fundraisers for local shelters, looked after and groomed family dogs, given pet care advice, and for the last four years have worked professionally as a kennel attendant. My job has always been a joy to me, and despite its stresses I always tell people that caring for animals is the best job I could ever ask for. I’ve been able to meet and work with pets of all different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and abilities; from blind/deaf dogs, senior dogs, aggressive dogs, puppies/kittens, diabetic dogs and cats, and so many more. Each of them provides an invaluable experiences that teaches me patience, compassion, and communication. I’m now the proud owner of a 11 month old cat, Balrog, and of a 13 year old chihuahua, Mia. Though I am a full time student and a part time kennel attendant, I am able to be more flexible with my schedule over summer break. About: I have been walking and caring for my own personal animals - 2 dogs, cat, bird, hamsters since I was 5 years old. I also have been dog sitting and walking for numerous neighbors and friends in the area. I work during the day a full-time job. I am available early in the morning and after 4:00pm during the week. I am available on the weekends anytime of the day. I have a fenced in backyard that my 4 year old Brittany Spaniel, Maggie loves to run around and play ball. It is completely fenced in so she can't get out. I love to be outside playing with my dog and bring her on 3+ walks a day around town and at the local park.
