About: I've had dogs for the past 19 years, mainly pitbulls and mastiffs. But I worked in a doggy day care in the past and have experience with all types of dogs even cats. Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I can accommodate your needs however you need. Safety for your pet and I will be my main priority. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I also have 3 children who enjoy helping so it has become part of daily routine to do feedings and walks. I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.
“I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

I currently walk my dog multiple times a day and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young, always being known to be the person who asks “Can I pet your dog?”. Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. Through the years I’ve done fundraisers for local shelters, looked after and groomed family dogs, given pet care advice, and for the last four years have worked professionally as a kennel attendant. My job has always been a joy to me, and despite its stresses I always tell people that caring for animals is the best job I could ever ask for. I’ve been able to meet and work with pets of all different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and abilities; from blind/deaf dogs, senior dogs, aggressive dogs, puppies/kittens, diabetic dogs and cats, and so many more. Each of them provides an invaluable experiences that teaches me patience, compassion, and communication. I’m now the proud owner of a 11 month old cat, Balrog, and of a 13 year old chihuahua, Mia. Though I am a full time student and a part time kennel attendant, I am able to be more flexible with my schedule over summer break. About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.

Willow warmed up to her on the first walk and adapted to Willow’s initial shyness by feeding her from under our side table by the couch where she likes to hide. I’m no longer offering boarding unless pups are friendly with kitties☺️ (She loves visiting her furry friends) 🐾 I have 20+ years of experience with many breeds of dogs including: Staffies, Huskies, German Shepherds, Akitas, Boxers, Yorkshire Terriers, Dachshunds and Golden Doodles. 🐾 I love all breeds of dogs and cats (All are welcome)❤️ 🐾 I have a lot of patience with puppies🥰🐾 🐾 Experience with elder dogs and cats too 🐾Experience with many breeds of kitties including: Siamese, Burmese, Tabbies, Calicos, Maine Coons and 1 Savannah😅 (All kitties welcome♥️) 🐾 I was a foster for 3 local animal shelters(2 in Virginia and 1 in CT) 🐾❤️ 🐾 I will love and care for your fur-babies as if they are my own!!☺️ 🐾 I do take ALOT of photos or videos of the stay or visit (Some fur parents love that) 🐾 I am seeking an opportunity to spend more time with animals and make a difference for cat and dog parents who need someone reliable to sit or walk their fur babies. ❤️Thank you for the opportunity. My schedule is flexible. Caring for fur-babies is very therapeutic for me. I am in college online full time 😊 I would love to care for your furry friends. I’m very detail oriented. Ensuring that any gates, doors are closed and or secured. I always make sure to feed the animal the appropriate amount of food. Any details about allergies/ meds or temperament I always ensure to ask prior to agreeing to care. My schedule is flexible. I’m offering house sitting in 3 areas due to my repeat clients that I’ve gotten attached to their fur babies 😊 I always make sure to follow any and all care instructions. Definitely very informative. I love sending pics and updates to the pet parents. I always make sure to ask about any behaviors or concerns.
