About: I've had a connection with dogs since my early childhood. Even as a young child I was the first to recognize when the family pets were "off" and in need of special care. I trained my GSD in a Schutzhund club and have a love for all dogs. My Chihuahua has taught me a different level of caring for a dog, from becoming a dog tooth brusher to chief hawk lookout on potty breaks. My day job is a half mile from home. I work 8-12, come home for an hour lunch and return to work from 1-4. I also have an adult daughter in my home who works evenings and is usually home during day time hours. I have a small fenced area outside my kitchen door. I do not let any small dog outside without a human because I am conscious of the danger hawks pose to small dogs. I have a very large, low living room window that dogs really enjoy because they can watch the world outside unfettered. There is a bed and an ottoman by the window for comfortable viewing purposes. Routines are adhered to. Guests are treated like family, welcome to snuggle on the couch or stretch out on my bed.

About: I've had dogs for the past 19 years, mainly pitbulls and mastiffs. But I worked in a doggy day care in the past and have experience with all types of dogs even cats. Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I can accommodate your needs however you need. Safety for your pet and I will be my main priority. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I also have 3 children who enjoy helping so it has become part of daily routine to do feedings and walks. I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.
“I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”
About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and I care deeply about making sure animals in my care have a clean, safe environment where they can be happy & healthy! My pets are truly family members, and I know that others’ pets are the same for them. I’ve had experience dog-sitting for friends and family. I also have experience with medically complex pets, which included caring for them post-surgery, and administering medications for their entire lifetime. I’m very good at following instructions, and absolutely love being with any pet! I’m a teacher who doesn’t work in the summer. Until July 26th, I’m in a musical production and will have rehearsals from 5-9 Mon-Thurs in Ellington (with shows 7/17 & 7/24 at night and shows 7/18-19 & 7/25-26 in the early afternoon), but that is currently the only regular thing I am doing! I am experienced working with animals and know how to read their body language to determine what they may need or how they’re feeling. I’m experienced in attending to the needs of my own pets, and I am also very good at following directions left for me!

About: I’ve loved animals since I was young, always being known to be the person who asks “Can I pet your dog?”. Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. “Erin was great with my dog Willow. At the meet and greet she was professional and personable. Willow has a little trouble with meeting strangers for the first time and Erin handled it perfectly. Willow warmed up to her on the first walk and adapted to Willow’s initial shyness by feeding her from under our side table by the couch where she likes to hide. She took excellent photos and kept me informed. I highly recommend Erin.”
About: I have been walking and caring for my own personal animals - 2 dogs, cat, bird, hamsters since I was 5 years old. I also have been dog sitting and walking for numerous neighbors and friends in the area. I work during the day a full-time job. I am available early in the morning and after 4:00pm during the week. I am available on the weekends anytime of the day. I have a fenced in backyard that my 4 year old Brittany Spaniel, Maggie loves to run around and play ball. About: Hey there! I’m Milo, a pet sitter of 6 years, and a dog walker since childhood. Whether a quick check in for a game and a potty break, a 30 minute walk around town, or a few overnights so they never get lonely, I am excited to get to know your furry friends and give them the best day possible! I work part time at a dog daycare, where I am responsible for working with up to 45 dogs at once. This means that I will be able to give your pup corrections in the right way, as well as being able to handle any stubborn, stressed, or scared temperaments. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as high energy or low/stubborn energy. I am not grossed out easily, so any pups with stomach issues are in great hands. Feel free to ask about medication administration if needed as well! I am open to any and all questions, so please reach out so we can make a good match! I am currently a college student working part time, but with close visits I can fit in a walk or potty break almost anytime during the week. Overnights are available Thursday through Sunday, or upon special request. Any scheduling issues please reach out, as my schedule is flexible. I am happy to settle into any type of home, and with the appropriate fenced yard I can play, run, or even just watch from afar to meet your pups needs. I am able to administer medications upon request, and will make sure they are in bed on schedule if I am staying overnight. Overall I am simply happy to adjust and be flexible to meet any of your pups needs.
About: I am a freshman in college and have had animals my whole life. I love animals and have had many different kinds over the years. I know how to take care of animals as small as a fish to as big as a horse. I am home for winter break from college from now until January 15th. I am very flexible and I am willing to make any schedule work. When taking care of others pets I will do anything to ensure they are getting the best care necessary. I will exercise them, feed them, ensure they have water, give them any necessary medicines, and ensure they have good company.

Kristin went above and beyond teaching Harvey the fundamentals of the agility course, working on his commands and giving him homemade lick mats and treats. I currently walk my dog multiple times a day and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet. I currently work from home and am able to take dog walk breaks and potty breaks throughout the day. I live within 5 minutes of multiple dog friendly trails and parks. My weekends are spent at home so I rarely leave the house as well. I have a large yard and also live nearby a park with a fenced in dog area that allows for safe and fun dog play.My dog gets along with dog of all types so safety is not an issue.
