About: We're a husband-and-wife team who spent nearly 20 years with four beloved adopted pets, all with their own quirks, personalities and needs. In another life, Laura worked in veterinary hospitals and emergency care with plans of becoming a veterinarian. This is a combination of her and my vacation weeks and will be a rare exception to our regular Monday & Thursday schedule. “I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

Over the two weeks my dog stayed with her, she sent updates and reassured me that my fur baby was doing great and adapting well — which really speaks to her and her family’s incredible patience and care. I am almost at disbelief with how well my dog was doing in her home! It was so clear that she treated my dog like one of her own — she completely spoiled her in the best way possible! From providing cuddles to sharing her canned food with my dog, it is clear that Christle is passionate about going above and beyond the dogs who come through her home. It was such a relief to know my pup was in such loving hands. I’ll 100% be booking with Christle again — she’s the best! 🐾”

“Lissette was absolutely wonderful with my two big dogs! This was the second time I've used her for in-home boarding, and once again, she exceeded my expectations. My dogs genuinely seem to enjoy their stay with her, which gives me so much peace of mind when I travel. I really appreciate being able to leave them in a home environment instead of a kennel or boarding facility. They get the daily interaction, attention, and comfort they're used to, and I get to relax knowing they're being treated like part of her family. Lissette is also incredibly flexible with pick-up and drop-off times—she honestly couldn't make the process any easier. Communication is great, and it's clear she truly cares about the dogs in her care.
