About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. About: I have been working with animals my whole life. My most recent experience includes pet sitting for Life of Riley pet care, working as a vet tech at Randolph Animal Hospital and working as a vet assistant at Northampton Vet Clinic. I am able to medicate transdermally, orally and through sq injections. I am a fellow golden retriever mom and am also familiar with the puppy stages! I am more than confident in working with all age groups! I am more than happy to care for your fur babies in your own home. I offer overnight care, daily walks and drop in visits. If you book at least 1 week in advance my schedule is flexible. I am willing to work with you to make a schedule that works for you. I am currently in school for dental assisting however I will not need to be away for more than 4 hours at a time. I offer pet sitting in your homes with overnight care, walks and drop-in visits. My drop-in visits and walks are 30 minute visits, however if you need a different time frame I am willing to work it out. For overnight care I am willing to make a plan that suits your pups or kitties the best.

Rebecca made sure to ask about any allergies and if she’s good with other dogs, ect. Also it make me feel a lot better knowing she is CPR certified, & could give my dog CPR if needed. In addition to being a lifelong pet owner, I previously worked at a pet supply store, where I gained valuable knowledge about animal care and helped pet owners understand how to best meet their pets’ needs. Between my personal and professional experience, I’ve become familiar with the different personalities, behaviors, and care needs of all kinds of animals, and I’m confident in my ability to provide them with the attention and care they deserve. I currently have a pretty flexible schedule and am available Tuesday through Saturday during the mornings and afternoons, usually until 3-5pm. This gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, and spending quality time with your pets without having to rush. I’m happy to work around their usual routines and make sure they get the attention they need while you’re away! Since I’ll be caring for your pets in your home, I want to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I know how important it is for animals to have a familiar environment and a consistent routine, so I’ll always follow your instructions when it comes to feeding, walks, medications, and any other specific needs.
