About: I have been asked to take care of dogs/cats while family have been out of town on many occasions I have 3 of my own cats and niece and nephew cat (yes) lol also two puppers that are family a newphie and great Pyrenees. Animals are my family and I feel happier with them than I do with people. Depending on location I can be available when needed. I work from home I can be flexible as long as I am communicated with in a timely manner As I have three cats I wouldn’t be able to bring any other pets into my home as they are rescues who have severe anxiety and to keep my fur babies safe I would ask that they be respected and I can only make home visits. About: I have been fostering dogs for over a year. In the past year, I've cared for eleven foster dogs as they wait for their forever homes; in addition to this, I am the first person friends and family call to watch their dogs when they go out of town. Over the past year, I've dog-sat for seven different friends and family members, caring for pit mixes, boxers, a bernedoodle, golden doodles, and several rescue mixes. I am experienced working with all kinds of dogs; large and small, young puppies to senior dogs in need of additional medical support. I've completed Family Dog I and Family Dog II training classes at Tails-U-Win in Manchester, CT, with my parents' German Shepherd mix. I work from home and have a relatively flexible schedule, so I have the ability to be with your pets for the vast majority of the day, ensuring they are well cared for. I adjust activities, depending on the specific dog and their needs. I love to walk and hike, and for active dogs, I know of many trails and parks within 10-15 minutes of my home. For lower-energy dogs, we walk around my neighborhood and spend time in the yard. I have a plethora of enrichment toys and games - puzzles, snuffle rugs, kong wobbles, and more. Totally depends on the dogs and their unique needs.

We own a smart, friendly golden retriever who love to play and run around our large yard. Our dog is healthy, understands basic commands (we trained him ourselves), house trained, and up to date on shots/vaccinations. We take good care of our dog and we'll take good care of your dog. We are living in country and close to dog park, Coventry and Bolton lakes. I can take your dog on a leash to walk there upon your request. I would like to board a friendly and house trained dog. We accept only crate trained dogs. I am working from home. So, I can provide potty breaks and plenty of exercise for your dog. I like to walk and have experience with dog who have anxiety. Safety is priority. I prefer to keep dogs separate because they may not get along. Your dog will be on a leash if outside the house. I would never feed my dog your dog kibble. Crate trained dogs only.
