About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. I have always had a strong love and a passion for animals, especially dogs I am currently a college student looking to make a little bit extra money by taking care of dogs. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.

About: My name is Jen, I am an avid animal lover, dog mom, and part-time adventurer. I have my BA in psychology and have always been interested in animal behavior. I first started watching friends' dogs in 2001, then moved on to house-sitting cats and dogs. I have great experience taking care of pups and love taking them on long walks, trips to the park, the beach, and places alike. And there's always time for some positive reinforcement! I am always willing to work on some training with your pup if you request. I have a 6-year-old love bug Cavapoo named Beau who is the light of my life! About: I've had animals growing up my whole life from cats, to dogs, to fish, a hedgehog and even a tortoise ! I have watched lots of family friends animals and since being on Rover I’ve had lots of new clients I can watch your animals most days of the week! On weekends I’m usually photographing motocross races. I have 3 dogs at home so it’s nothing new taking care of animals :) Being able to take your dog out for walks around the yard and play fetch, inside if it is too cold. Dogs have lots of energy and you don't want them to miss out on a good game of fetch.

About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. About: I have grown up around high energy Labrador retrievers, chickens, and family cats since I can remember. I enjoy walking and doing anything active with animals! I also understand that all animals make messes indoors and outdoors and have no problem cleaning up after them, it’s part of having pets :) I’m currently a UConn college student and I am available most mornings/ evenings throughout the week. I am also around for my winter break which is a month long from mid December to mid January. I walk my two high energy labs 3 miles daily either on trails in the woods or near the water. I will also provide food and water daily. I can do any necessary grooming such as brushing fur, wiping paws, etc.

About: My family got a chocolate lab when I was 8 & I have had pets ever since. I am a part time nanny of 2 boys, 5 & 9. I cared for their elderly dog of 15 along with them for the last year of his life. I am very patient & gentle, I do not yell or get overly upset with children or animals. At the end of their dog Madden’s life he had a lot of accidents & emotional needs. Cleaning up after him & taking care of him never bothered me. It made me happy to give him comfort & nurturing, especially at the very end when he wasn’t feeling very well. I cared for my family dog similarly when he was at the end of his life. I had my first personal pet Cornica the cat (pictured with the corn toy lol) for 9 happy years. She unfortunately passed in 2024 from a severe hyper thyroid issue that came on very suddenly. Putting her down was the hardest most painful decision of my life but it was what was best for her. 2 months later I rescued my two sister cats Ice Cream & Sundae from a local cat shelter. They are such wonderful good girls & I am so blessed to have them. We all love each other very much. My sister’s dog who I have cared for many time has allergies so I have experience in providing both medication & supplements to dogs. I also have experience with providing medication & supplements to cats as I mentioned Cornica had a thyroid issue & I give my current cats preventative vitamins. I love all types of animals including those seen as scary such as tarantulas, reptiles & snakes. As you can see I have my cousin’s snake on my head in one photo. I even like bugs & do not kill them. I added the photo of me with the dolphin just because it was such an amazing experience & dream of mine I was able to achieve. I work part time as a nanny on a rotating schedule, so I either work Monday & Wednesday during the week or Tuesday & Thursday. Weekends I am always free. Fridays I do work for my side business, I am a professional psychic for the last 6 years. I am very gentle, patient & cautious with my cats & other people’s animals. After my first cat passed from being sick so suddenly I am extremely proactive & even a bit hyper vigilant to make sure everyone is happy & healthy. I am very tapped into their usual behaviors & personalities to be quick to notice any deviations. I have lots of toys, scratch posts & comfy places for my ‘beans’. We play & cuddle all the time. Vet & nurses comment on what good, sweet girls they are. I make sure they get plenty of open window & enrichment time as well. I keep very clean litter boxes too to encourage great bathroom behavior & comfortability for them.

About: I had a whole slew of my own animals at home from horses to little snakes and everything in between. I absolutely love working and volunteering with all ages of dogs and cats, I personally have dealt with and endless amount of fresh babies and end of life care seniors. I’m open to whatever they throw at me, that’s the best part! I’ve worked with aggressors, muzzled sweetie pies, and the dopiest pups all over. Let me learn their personality and I’ll tailor myself to whatever they need! I come home to my mini zoo every day! I do long walks, yoga with the kitties, exciting feeding times, and lots of chilling out in the barn or on the couch, whichever lil friend needs the most. I spend all my time with shelter animals if I’m not at home, or if I’m at work I’ll be scrolling on Petfinder seeing what I can manage and provide for LOL Id love to use the term “gentle paw-renting,” but honestly it can be chaotic at times and you just have to go with the flow! I prefer to be chilled out with your little babies and just shower all the love, but if they need to go run around the block and rip some cardboard up, let’s do it and I’ll make sure your home is just as it was prior to my visit :) you deserve stress free and they deserve a nourishing and fun filled day!

About: My true passion is making sure rabbits get the spoiled life they deserve! It is important to understand rabbit care and their specialized needs. I have two bonded bunnies of my own and volunteer weekly to help bunnies in need. I've care for cats and rabbits most of my life and very passionate about their well-being. I have had rabbits and cats for almost half of my life! I treat all animals with respect and like they are my own! Currently in school for dental hygiene and looking to fill the extra hours in my week helping with pet care in my spare time! I volunteer weekly with rescues. I love working with animals!
