I am a student but all my classes are online this semester and so I am more than happy and available to watch pooches and kitties! About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. I would always make sure the pet is safe, loved, and well cared for. I live with my husband and son who are both animal lovers as well.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience with both training and senior care. I trained my own dog, who is now 12 years old, and I currently care for him as he experiences arthritis. This has taught me how to recognize signs of discomfort, adjust activity levels, and provide daily massages to keep him comfortable. I understand that not every dog needs long walks, and I prioritize each pet’s individual needs, safety, and well-being. I’m currently a senior in college, which gives me a bit more flexibility in my schedule, and I truly enjoy spending that time caring for pets. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I’m able to plan my days around pets and give them the attention and consistency they need. I live in an off-campus house with a front yard that does not open onto a busy street, which helps provide a safe and calm environment for pets. The house is spacious, allowing pets to move around comfortably and have their own space to relax. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I’m very attentive and focused on making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. I take time to build trust, follow routines closely, and make sure pets feel safe and happy in my presence.

About: I am an animal science student at UConn and currently ride on their equestrian team. I have trained my own two dogs while learning from a professional trainer and now I train and sell horses along with house sitting dogs and cats here and there. I am available most days to walk, run, or visit your cat or pup until I go back to college. I am currently not working another job so my schedule is open. I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting before I came to college and during the summer. I have my own two dogs back home that are part of our family and a cat! I love spending time just chilling or playing with my dogs but we also go for runs, walks, and mountain biking together so I can fit into whatever your dog needs!

About: My true passion is making sure rabbits get the spoiled life they deserve! It is important to understand rabbit care and their specialized needs. I have two bonded bunnies of my own and volunteer weekly to help bunnies in need. I've care for cats and rabbits most of my life and very passionate about their well-being. I have had rabbits and cats for almost half of my life! I treat all animals with respect and like they are my own! Currently in school for dental hygiene and looking to fill the extra hours in my week helping with pet care in my spare time! I volunteer weekly with rescues. I love working with animals! When caring for pets in my home, everything is pet safe and pet proofed. Pet safety is my main priority because they mean the world to me!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I have been pet sitting for a little over five years now! I currently have my own pets: two cats, and a dog. I have a few families whom I sit for regularly. I have had experience caring for puppies-senior dogs with special needs, diapers, and medications, as well as kittens-senior cats! My whole life I have been caring for pets of my own, as well as those of friends and family. My boyfriend has been sitting with me for well over 4 years now and has a lot of experience caring for many different animals. We have helped a few families out with training as well so that they can stay as close to their normal routine as possible! I’m currently working full time at UConn, but my boyfriend is working remotely. This being said he would be able to provide plenty of potty breaks throughout the day. We can both provide walks and plenty of play time morning and night as well! I am very flexible with whatever routine you would like me to follow for your fur babies! Personally, I have an electric fence for my dog at home, but I still go out with her, as she does not like to be alone! Although my cats are indoor cats, they LOVE being outside, so on nice days I will take them out on a leash and sun bathe with them!

About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. About: I have 4 dogs of my own. I absolutely love every single kind of animal. I am very passionate about animals. I dog sit my best friends dogs & co workers dogs as well as family pets. I work Sunrise hours Tuesday-Friday. I’m off of work by 11am and have the rest of my morning & afternoon to take care of my babies & play with them as well as take care of anyone else pets. All 3 of my dogs are very friendly. I have 1 dog who is a small cranky old lady with no teeth but she’s usually laying in bed relaxing while the other dogs play. My back yard is semi fenced in. The whole back portion is fenced but you are able to go to the front yard from the sides of the house.

About: I have been working with animals my whole life. My most recent experience includes pet sitting for Life of Riley pet care, working as a vet tech at Randolph Animal Hospital and working as a vet assistant at Northampton Vet Clinic. I am able to medicate transdermally, orally and through sq injections. I am a fellow golden retriever mom and am also familiar with the puppy stages! I am more than confident in working with all age groups! I am more than happy to care for your fur babies in your own home. I offer overnight care, daily walks and drop in visits. If you book at least 1 week in advance my schedule is flexible. I am willing to work with you to make a schedule that works for you. I am currently in school for dental assisting however I will not need to be away for more than 4 hours at a time. I offer pet sitting in your homes with overnight care, walks and drop-in visits. My drop-in visits and walks are 30 minute visits, however if you need a different time frame I am willing to work it out. For overnight care I am willing to make a plan that suits your pups or kitties the best.

I currently have a pretty flexible schedule and am available Tuesday through Saturday during the mornings and afternoons, usually until 3-5pm. This gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, and spending quality time with your pets without having to rush. I’m happy to work around their usual routines and make sure they get the attention they need while you’re away! Since I’ll be caring for your pets in your home, I want to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I know how important it is for animals to have a familiar environment and a consistent routine, so I’ll always follow your instructions when it comes to feeding, walks, medications, and any other specific needs.
