About: Hello, we are Orion (he/him) and Alex (he/him)! I, Orion, typically handle all the communication through the app, but we are both background checked by Rover! Both of us have had six family dogs throughout our lives and have experience taking care of cats. Most of our pets were adopted young and grew into seniors, so we have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. We no longer live with any dogs, but we have two cats of our own. I am currently a college student, but for the most part, I have a pretty open schedule. Alex works remotely and has a flexible schedule as well. We love socializing with pets and getting to know their unique personalities while we’re visiting them. We will care for them as if they are our own! We are also particular about following instructions exactly as provided to ensure the utmost care and safety of your pet.

About: I have grown up with dogs of all breeds and sizes, along with cats. I currently volunteer at an animal shelter walking and caring for the dogs that are looking for their forever homes. I am a full time student with a weekend job but I am in need of a higher income. I also am an animal lover and plan to own my own rescue after college so this job would be the perfect fit with the flexible schedule and doing something I love. Pets are like people, they have emotions, they have good and bad days, and most importantly they each have individual personalities. I always work to get to know animals individually so I know what works and doesn't work for them so I can treat them with love and respect without doing anything they may dislike.

About: I have worked with many animals big & small, currently taking classes to get certification as a veterinary technician. I have worked with many dogs of different breeds and ages. I have also worked with cats, small animals and reptiles. Right now I work at a dog kennel in Glastonbury. My schedule is pretty flexible. I alternate weekends off. And have set days off, I can do drop ins during my day if I am at work. If needed I can do house sitting over night and during the days that I have off. I can take care of pets either at my home, and follow their routine schedule. I can also do that your home as well. If they go to daycare or anything like that I am willing to bring them there if needed. I can also bring your pet for walks and make sure they get enough attention.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I have owned 4 dogs growing up and now currently have 1 on my own. Animals are a huge huge part of family for me and I don’t know what I would do without them. Family, friends, friends of friends, neighbors have all relied on me to pet sit. I also used to volunteer at an animal clinic! I can handle dogs with all sizes and types. Dogs are treated like my kids and spoiled very much so. I am currently in an school online program because I had been traveling so I am very flexible! My boyfriend also lives with me and is home when I am not. I do not have a fenced in yard but I walk my dogs (and will be yours) multiple times daily. By the end of the day I usually end up walking 3 miles. I let dogs out every hour and a half while they are here since I do not have a fenced in yard I keep them on a leash. I have lots of toys and an 11 month of beagle who loves to play!!!

About: I went to Highschool at Edwin O Smith where I took animal science class for four years. I then went to UConn and took a livestock animal class for a year. I have pet sitted for all types of animals from dogs and cats to goats and horses. I owned a small goat farm for 5 years as part of an FFA project learning to be an entrepreneur. I know basic veterinarian technician skills from my animal science classes. I have personally owned dogs, fish, birds, rabbits, hamsters, even squirrels for a short period. I have the experience to deal with more difficult animals and train them to be better if needed. At the moment I am a stay at home mom doing online courses for accounting. Since I’m always home it’s perfect for watching pets 24/7 or going out and feeding, walking, etc.. for periods of time. At my house I have an empty barn with a huge fenced in area for pets who can be outside. I also have a fenced in porch and animals can be brought inside if they preferred. I can also take care of animals in owners homes or barns.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was very young chickens , Gerbils , Hamsters , Guinea pigs , dogs , cats , as well as taking care of my neighbors big fat orange cat when they needed to get away. I have a dog and a cat at home so I’m no stranger to that Fur parent life ! I have a dog myself so getting outside for a walk is a daily part of my routine ! I also work a lot of nights so I’m looking for things to do , reasons to be outside during the day and making money while doing it is just a really big plus Safety : being always attentive to surroundings as far as where the dogs are walking , what’s on the ground , what areas am I walking in , dogs around other dogs , Trust : I would try to update the dog owner as often as possible being a dog father myself I would be comforted getting those updates just too know my pet is safe and sound Environment : open feild trails , deep forest trials , shoreline trails , lakeside trails
