About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and a chinchilla. My friends made a joke that my house was a zoo with all the animals we had. I love animals and I can’t imagine my life without a furry pet. I’m currently in college at UConn, but finishing off my senior year so only taking a couple credits. I have flexible hours and love walking. When I’m home we don’t have a fenced in backyard but she’s trained to come back. We take her on hikes all the time to tire her out. My cats are older and have to take medication but they love snuggling up with my dog.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and started pet sitting/walking for neighbors in my early teen years. I would love to help with your dog(s)! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I am free to pop in and take care of your dogs when needed. I love the outdoors and happy to walk your pups in any weather. I have a dog friendly home as I have 2 dogs of my own. Everything they should not be able to play with, chew, or eat is put away. I have a fully fenced .5 acre back yard and extra dog crates as needed.

I have a fence dog park where I live, I have two cats who are fully vaccinated and can be held in a separate room if needed.

About: Hi! I've helped taken care of my family's dog since I was 12, and since then, I've gained experience in caring for multiple dogs and cats. I'm thrilled to help serve my local community. In addition, I've taken multiple animal science courses in my studies at UConn, and have a working knowledge of animal care. I'm a senior studying the life sciences at the University of Connecticut. As a full time student (with extracurriculars), I certainly have a busy schedule, however; that helps motivate me to manage my time and set aside certain days and nights for work! Also, I don't have any class on Fridays or Saturdays, which is perfect for weekend pet sitting needs! I can also overnight pet sit on most nights. Most of my pet sitting work will revolve around ensuring your pet is taken outside (or for a walk) when needed, fed on time (this includes ensuring fresh water is always accessible 24/7!), and given time for playtime (or even time for calm activities, especially if the pet is anxious). This is a fairly standard list of care—so if your pet has needs that differ, please let me know!

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. I’ve grown up with a cat and two labs, so caring for both cats and dogs feels very natural to me. I’m used to everything from playtime and walks to quiet companionship, and I pay close attention to each pet’s routine and personality. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently a student at UConn! My schedule and course load is fairly light so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your pets! I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their own space and routine. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box or potty needs, medication if needed, and playtime. I make sure pets get attention, exercise, and companionship, while also keeping the home clean and secure. I always respect the pet’s habits and personality and aim to keep things as stress-free as possible.

About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. About: Like many people, I've grown up being surrounded by pets and animals. So, what other path to take than to learn how to properly care for them? Every pet and animal deserves a special amount of attention and care based on their needs. Sometimes life becomes too busy with work or personal trips. Rather than judge you, I'm here to help you. Who says life has to stop being fun when you have responsibilities? There are ways to help yourself and I would love to be there to take one more thing off your mind. Not only am I understanding, knowledgeable, and caring, but I will ensure the absolute best for your pets as they are a part of your family. I work part-time to get myself through college, but with that, I have plenty of free time where I can look after your animals. I work online, so if you need me there for a few hours if your pet has anxiety (or just peace of mind), I can be there for a few hours. If you need me there in the early morning or late evening, I can make that happen. Besides my flexible schedule, I can primarily fit pet care into the evenings and early mornings. While Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little slim for me, I can help make it work for your pets for the right price. While I would love to care for your pets in my own home or yours, I have a lovely elderly dog who can not handle the stress of other dogs being around. However, I would be more than happy to commute to your home and look after your dog(s). All I require are the basic necessities to be provided for your dog, such as food and water supplies. If you would like me to walk your dog, then I would also require you to provide a leash and/or harness.

I am a student but all my classes are online this semester and so I am more than happy and available to watch pooches and kitties! About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

About: I have been working with dogs in multiple capacities for years! I have had an on and off dog walking business of my own since I was 14, and working in daycares/kennels since I was 16. I have taken care of dogs big and small, and young and old. And I love them all! I am currently a part-time student at UConn Storrs, but I am based out of Storrs, CT. I am available weekends (Friday-Sunday) throughout the school year for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. I am in the area full-time on weekdays for walks, hikes or other fun activities with your doggos! I can work around whatever setup you already have in your home. I have plenty of experience getting dogs in and out of crates/kennels as well as house training my own dogs if crates aren't your thing! Any routine you already have with your dog, I will be able to pick up on and get things done smoothly and safely! Before Rover, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I was trained in administering medicine (pills, creams, wipes etc.) and many dog handling techniques to keep both your doggy and I safe!
