About: Ever since I can remember I have always watched animals for friends, family members, and neighbors. I have worked as a dog walker for a company where I was responsible for letting myself in and taking their dog for a walk. I also have experience in two different animal shelters. During summer breaks I work as a veterinary assistant so I am very comfortable around animals with medical needs and administering medications. I have also had a bunny for several years and have watched other peoples bunnies so I am very familiar with bunny care. I am currently a full-time student, with a flexible class schedule. Most of my availability will be after class is over usually between 1-3pm depending on the day. Some days I will be done earlier than others. I am free all day on Saturday and Sunday. While I am unable to board your animals due to my living situation I would love to take care of your pets in other ways! My biggest priority when spending time with any animal, whether they are my own or someone else's, is health and safety. When walking dogs outside I am always vigilant regarding our surroundings. Even when in the client's home I am constantly on the look out for anything the dog should could get into trouble with whether that is a toy or food item.

About: I’ve had three dogs throughout my whole life, so I have a lot of experience taking care of them. I have lots of experience with walks, feeding, watering, and just playing with them. Im currently working a part time job, so I have plenty of time to take the dog(s) for walk(s) and take care of them! I also am willing to accommodate to your needs! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. About: I have been working with animals for many years. I have done lots of overnight pet sitting, walking, and dealing with medical needs. I have always had a passion for animals of all sizes. I have experience in giving medications, dealing with dogs with different temperaments, and dog training. I am currently in school during the mornings, but am free all afternoons to play with your pups! I am available for overnights and fully available on weekends! I currently have one dog. I do have a large fenced in yard which provides a great space for animals to run around and play in. I live in a super clean household that does not have any hazards towards animals. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. I am a freelance worker which gives me ample opportunity to accommodate to your pet's and your schedule needs. I have a very flexible schedule. Since I myself have had stay-in-sitters for my pets; I know how important it is to have a truly attentive & responsible sitter in order to relax while you are away. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.

About: I grew up in a family that bread, Dalmatians. As I head into retirement, I'd be happy to help other families with job service services or boarding services. I have a very laid-back in well-behaved male Dalmatian that enjoys company. I’m currently retired so I have time to help our other families. I’d be happy to do drop-ins or pup-sit. If you want socialization then my pup would be thrilled to attend Whether it’s squirrel chasing or some basic training, it’s important to get energy out during drop-in visits. Balls and treats are a good way to break the ice!

About: Hello pet parents! I find great fulfillment in caring for and nurturing your pets. Caring for pets also gives me a wonderful outlet to indulge my intense and immense love for dogs! While I might lack decades of experience working with our furry friends, I believe I more than make up for it with my enthusiasm for learning and affection for doggies! All I can promise is that you shall not regret working with me! I work from home remotely for my day job, which affords me plenty of spare time to spend with your fur babies! The nature of my job also enables me to take my furry friends out for a walk during working hours no problem. I am available for walks and drop in visits on all weekdays; for your dog boarding or house sitting needs, I am available seven days a week. I have a family member living with me who is retired and stays home full time, so there will be at least one responsible adult looking after your precious pet(s) at all times!

About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood so I am very good with dogs and knowing how to care for them. I would walk our family dog and take him to the park and I was always very excited to do so. I’m currently attending college and I care for dogs and cats as a fun job when I’m not studying. My weekends are pretty much completely open for dog sitting, walking, feeding and whatever else your dog needs. I will care for your pets with love and affection. I will make sure they are well taken care of when they are with me. Whatever you need me to do for your pet I will make sure to do. I want them to be happy and comfortable in my care. I currently go to CT state college so I am busy 4 mornings out of the week, but it’s not all morning and nights I am almost always free. Also, I am free all day Saturday and Sunday to care for your pets. I live in a house so I have a lot of room for your pets to play. And if I am in your home I am very respectful of your house, animals and belongings and will treat it with the same care as I do for my own.

About: Dogs have and will always be a huge part of my life. We got our first family dog when I was just 3 years old and the rest is history. My husband Jack is extremely passionate about animals as well and is my partner in all of this so you get two dog sitters for the price of one. Between the two of us your pet will get so much love, cuddles & exercise. We guarantee a level of attention and care that I feel confident your pet won’t get anywhere else; between this and Rover taking it’s fee our prices might be on the high side but they reflect our level of personalized and professional level of care. I also just want to add that our love for dogs extends to all animals so cats etc are all welcome to come hang with us :) Important Note: if you are reaching out for house sitting my husband and I only take those if we both are allowed to stay the night. We prefer to do this for safety as well as enabling the best care possible for your pet. Your pets will be my top priority & my main focus when they stay with us!
