About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and a chinchilla. My friends made a joke that my house was a zoo with all the animals we had. I love animals and I can’t imagine my life without a furry pet. I’m currently in college at UConn, but finishing off my senior year so only taking a couple credits. I have flexible hours and love walking. When I’m home we don’t have a fenced in backyard but she’s trained to come back. We take her on hikes all the time to tire her out. My cats are older and have to take medication but they love snuggling up with my dog.

About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was in kindergarten. I love to take her for walks, take her on drives, give her baths and buy her special treats. I also have experience watching my family and our friend’s dogs. I love animals and always enjoy spending time with them and building a loving bond. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for two dogs, three cats, and many other animals through my family’s farm. Because of that, I’m comfortable with pets of all personalities, ages, and energy levels. I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for friends, neighbors, and family for years, helping with walking, feeding, playtime, overnight care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand how important routines are and always try to keep pets happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I am currently attending UConn studying Civil Engineering. I am a junior, so my workload is becoming less as I near graduation, which gives me plenty of time in my schedule every day to care for any pets needs. I have an extremely flexible schedule, and can make any hour of the day work to care for any animal! Of course the most important way I will care for the animals is by following the owners instructions. I treat every animal with the same love and care I would my own, and even if it is just for a walk around the neighborhood every day I would love to play a part in any animals day.

About: Hi! My name is Mopelola, but I exclusively go by Jade! I have always loved animals and although I no longer have any of my own, I have a lot of experience in keeping them happy and enriched ! I am a student but all my classes are online this semester and so I am more than happy and available to watch pooches and kitties! (: I follow any and all instructions given to me by the owner in regard to dieting and safety restrictions etc. It’s important to keep pets and property safe.

About: I am a true animal lover, I have 2 dogs + 6 cats of my own! I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and am well-equipped to care for dogs of all ages and abilities whether that be an overnight stay, making certain that they’re content and comfortable, or a quick walk around the neighborhood, with a secure leash + harness and can’t forget the doggy bags! About: My family has always had pets. In my adulthood, I have owned and trained a yellow lab and chocolate lab and currently have a black lab named Kingston. He is my best friend and his amazing. We also have a tabby cat named Biggie Smalls. He is very sweet. I am looking forward to the opportunity to spending time with your amazing pet friends and caring for them as if they’re my own. I am a 20 year teacher with the summers off and I’m available six days a week. I spend my summer months catching up on yardwork and vacationing with my family and can be available to assist in times of need for your pets. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I have been pet sitting for a little over three years now! I currently have my own pets: two cats, and a dog. I have a few families whom I sit for regularly. I have had experience caring for puppies-senior dogs with special needs, diapers, and medications, as well as kittens-senior cats! My whole life I have been caring for pets of my own, as well as those of friends and family. My boyfriend has been sitting with me for well over 2 years now and has a lot of experience caring for many different animals. We have helped a few families out with training as well so that they can stay as close to their normal routine as possible! I’m currently working full time at UConn, but my boyfriend is working remotely. This being said he would be able to provide plenty of potty breaks throughout the day. We can both provide walks and plenty of play time morning and night as well! I am very flexible with whatever routine you would like me to follow for your fur babies! Personally, I have an electric fence for my dog at home, but I still go out with her, as she does not like to be alone! Although my cats are indoor cats, they LOVE being outside, so on nice days I will take them out on a leash and sun bathe with them!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

About: I have been working with dogs in multiple capacities for years! I have had an on and off dog walking business of my own since I was 14, and working in daycares/kennels since I was 16. I have taken care of dogs big and small, and young and old. And I love them all! I am currently a part-time student at UConn Storrs, but I am based out of Storrs, CT. I am available weekends (Friday-Sunday) throughout the school year for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. I am in the area full-time on weekdays for walks, hikes or other fun activities with your doggos! I can work around whatever setup you already have in your home. I have plenty of experience getting dogs in and out of crates/kennels as well as house training my own dogs if crates aren't your thing! Any routine you already have with your dog, I will be able to pick up on and get things done smoothly and safely! Before Rover, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I was trained in administering medicine (pills, creams, wipes etc.) and many dog handling techniques to keep both your doggy and I safe!

About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets of all kinds, from energetic puppies to shy cats and everything in between. I’m comfortable with any schedule your pet needs and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. I am currently a student so all of my days are flexible. The semester is almost over but next semester I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’m available for boarding during the week and weekends and everything else is flexible and able to fit into my schedule. There’s plenty of places for them to walk and play. They can easily be crated as well. Anything can be accommodated and done as needed.

About: Hi! I've helped taken care of my family's dog since I was 12, and since then, I've gained experience in caring for multiple dogs and cats. I'm thrilled to help serve my local community. In addition, I've taken multiple animal science courses in my studies at UConn, and have a working knowledge of animal care. I'm a senior studying the life sciences at the University of Connecticut. As a full time student (with extracurriculars), I certainly have a busy schedule, however; that helps motivate me to manage my time and set aside certain days and nights for work! Also, I don't have any class on Fridays or Saturdays, which is perfect for weekend pet sitting needs! I can also overnight pet sit on most nights. Most of my pet sitting work will revolve around ensuring your pet is taken outside (or for a walk) when needed, fed on time (this includes ensuring fresh water is always accessible 24/7!), and given time for playtime (or even time for calm activities, especially if the pet is anxious). This is a fairly standard list of care—so if your pet has needs that differ, please let me know!
