About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

About: I am an animal science student at UConn and currently ride on their equestrian team. I have trained my own two dogs while learning from a professional trainer and now I train and sell horses along with house sitting dogs and cats here and there. I am available most days to walk, run, or visit your cat or pup until I go back to college. I am currently not working another job so my schedule is open. I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting before I came to college and during the summer. I have my own two dogs back home that are part of our family and a cat! I love spending time just chilling or playing with my dogs but we also go for runs, walks, and mountain biking together so I can fit into whatever your dog needs!

About: I love animals & have had many--from turtles & fish to cats & dogs & goats. Its such a pleasure to tend to them & just be with them. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. I am a freelance worker which gives me ample opportunity to accommodate to your pet's and your schedule needs. I have a very flexible schedule. Since I myself have had stay-in-sitters for my pets; I know how important it is to have a truly attentive & responsible sitter in order to relax while you are away. While you are away I will ensure that your pets daily feeding, walking & companionship needs are met. WE will have such a great time together!

About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

About: I grew up in a family that bread, Dalmatians. As I head into retirement, I'd be happy to help other families with job service services or boarding services. I have a very laid-back in well-behaved male Dalmatian that enjoys company. I’m currently retired so I have time to help our other families. I’d be happy to do drop-ins or pup-sit. If you want socialization then my pup would be thrilled to attend Whether it’s squirrel chasing or some basic training, it’s important to get energy out during drop-in visits. Balls and treats are a good way to break the ice!

I'm currently doing uber and rover !the more clients i get for rover will be my more preferred job .I'm single with no kids i love dogs i have 13-year-old husky myself I'm available for drop ins walk overnight stays i can also board if you dog gets along with a older husky. I have my dog crate trained hes a goodold boy never had an issue with him. Love dogs more than people! About: I have taken care of several medium sized breeds for the past three years including labs, poodles, and beagles. I have also cared for smaller breeds like chihuahuas and Shih Tzus, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day so I am available to provide dogs with attention and care at home the rest of the time. :) I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day, when I am outside of work I spend most of time home. During the time I am at home I’m able to adjust your pets care according to your preference. I live in an apartment and have a small male chihuahua who gets along great with other dogs. I don’t have a restrictive environment and will happily allow your dog to rest on the couches and beds, and roam around the apartment. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can walk and take your dog potty on a leash.

About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. Not a veterinarian, just an animal lover with a lot of compassion!! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: With 15+ years of experience as a certified veterinary technician and personal pets, I am an ideal candidate to care for your pets. At home, I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, and horses for my entire life. Over the last three years, I’ve cared for three senior dogs who required an array of medications. My 15 years experience as a veterinary technician has helped me to develop an eye for detail when it comes to your pets needs and health. Currently, I am taking a break from veterinary medicine. I would like to begin my own dog walking/daycare/pet and house sitting business in order to support my family. This will become a full-time job for me with an open schedule at this point. Dog walking and check in’s (to potty and play) will be Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm. As I cultivate a client base and access the needs of those clients, my hours will develop to accommodate those needs. At my house, we have a fenced in yard that is approximately half an acre. The fence is 7 feet high in all places. There is a kiddie pool and digging area. Inside is an open concept to roam. Currently, all of my dogs are very friendly couch potatoes. If needed, they could be separated (into their favorite spot, my bedroom!) to accommodate your pets needs. As for walking, I will adhere to all rules provided by you, the owner. I’m open to walking neighborhoods or taking your dogs out on the local trails. I will work side by side on manners and behavior with the owners.
