Kayla was amazing with my dog! Each time I picked him up, he was happy, and clearly well cared for. She took amazing care of my pet even though he has a broken leg and has restrictions. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. Her services are absolutely worth every penny.

About: I grew up in a family that bread, Dalmatians. As I head into retirement, I'd be happy to help other families with job service services or boarding services. I have a very laid-back in well-behaved male Dalmatian that enjoys company. I’m currently retired so I have time to help our other families. I’d be happy to do drop-ins or pup-sit. If you want socialization then my pup would be thrilled to attend Whether it’s squirrel chasing or some basic training, it’s important to get energy out during drop-in visits. Balls and treats are a good way to break the ice!

About: I am new to the Rover app but I’ve taken care of animals my entire life and have a wide range of availability! I just want to be able to help those who need their fur babies taken care of without the added stress of boarding them. I have experience with lots of different animals, sizes, diets and medicine administration. I only have one pet in my house and he’s a small 20lb dog named Koda. He LOVES other animals and even has some cat bffs! I am home most week nights and weekends so i have pretty open availability! I take my dog on long walks after work and we are always looking for more company! I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a very yard with a leash that is on a run with plenty of room to get the zoomies out! I have a spacious house and we welcome dogs on all furniture, so if you have a pet who prefers to cuddle up and sleep in bed, i’m your gal!

About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. I have always had a strong love and a passion for animals, especially dogs I am currently a college student looking to make a little bit extra money by taking care of dogs. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.

About: Hi everyone! I am an animal fanatic (dogs>people) with an energetic and outgoing personality. I strive to provide the best possible care and have no problem with special requests or schedules! I'll run, walk, play, throw to your dogs content and my own. I've been caring for animals big and small since I was a wee kiddo, have vet experience inherited from my dad who owns his own practice, and overall a soft spot for all things furry. I have a cattle dog mix pupper who is a social butterfly and a bengal that acts more like a dog than a cat. He gets along GREAT with all animals he's been introduced to, just check out the photos! Put yourself at ease knowing that your pooch will be properly attended to at your own convenience! I am currently working part time as a nanny and am looking to expand my passion for animals into a full time career. I previously ran a small dog walking business in Boston and am hoping to do the same here in my home state of CT! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to play with! If your dog is not friendly with others I do have a separate space for my pups if needed.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember! From hamsters to horses - I’ve cared for nearly any animal you can think of. I attended Norfolk Aggie, majoring in Animal Science. Since then, I’ve worked as a vet tech, grooming assistant, assistant trainer, and in multiple barns and kennels. Aside from caring for pets, I currently work from home on my fiancé and I’s business, and do freelance photography (always happy to get some cute pics!) Training is a massive aspect of pet care. It’s important to have a sitter that understands your goals, reinforces correct behaviors, and constantly works to improve. Aside from training, having expertise in many areas of pet care, along with having experience with many different species, breeds, and personality types allows me to confidently handle any situation. Not only do I offer top notch care - I’m a huge communicator! I send lots of updates and adorable photos. When booking with me, you will never have to worry or wonder what your pets are up to (Check in as often as you want! I encourage it!) I also offer bathing & nail trims! Please feel free to ask any questions, my priority is always the comfort of you and your furry friends. Looking forward to hearing from you! Aside from caring for other pets, most of my work is online. This allows me to be flexible of when or even where I work. Feel free to let me know exactly what you’re looking for, and we can come up with a plan! Every pet is unique, and needs different things! I tailor my visits to each individual animal. My goal is to create a happy and loving environment for your pets while you’re away, and earn your trust so you can leave your worries behind!

About: hands-on experience caring for many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, parrots, chickens, ducks, goats, and reptiles. Caring for animals is part of my everyday life, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. I have experience providing medications, bathing, nail trimming, ear and eye cleaning, grooming care, and maintaining a safe, clean, and loving environment. I am comfortable caring for pets that require extra attention and patience, including senior animals and those with special care needs. I live on a small farm with an extremely large, fully fenced yard where pets can enjoy a safe and spacious environment. My own dogs are very gentle, friendly, and used to being around different types of animals. They are well-socialized and comfortable sharing their space with other pets. Your pets will be treated like family, with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own animals. I am a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the animals in my care through the day and playtime . Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, safe, and loving environment where animals can feel relaxed and cared for while they are away from home. I live on a small farm with a large, fully fenced yard, giving pets plenty of secure space to enjoy fresh air, exercise, and supervised playtime. My animals are well-socialized, and my gentle dogs are used to being around different types of animals.

Renata took such good care of our pup. She put her at ease when she was nervous. Once our pup settled in, she kept me updated and then captured all the fun moments of playing and silliness. Our girl had the best time and was exhausted from playing so much. Such a wonderful experience!

I also completed my Masters degree in Costa Rica! Pura Vida! As of 2020; I have children of my own, and dogs of my own: I no longer offer boarding services. Only house sitting & drop in visits. I have been dogsitting/ caring for the past 10 years now. My availability is somewhat flexible depending on your needs. Depending on the needs of your furry friend and your own, I am more than willing to doggysit and provide your pet with any amenities and attention needed! Cuddles are a must, or atleast a walk.. Or a nice drive! *If you’re in Long Island, or NYC area please feel free to message me! I have a family member I can refer to you* 🐶🐱🩷 Currently working part time! Able to offer half day care and breaks! I am available overnight, and early mornings. Over the holidays and weekends my availability changes. Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 610 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Chaplin. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Chaplin commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 610 sitters in Chaplin, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
