About: I have had dogs since I was 8 years old and I truly enjoy all the warmth and love a dog brings into a home. I have taken in senior dogs (10+) over the years and had extensive experience with blind, and deaf senior dogs. I have experience with incontinence, mobility issues, special dietary needs, medication injections, and palliative care. I also have experience with young puppies (under 6 months) along with experience doing dog training with my own dogs throughout my life. Both me and my husband have transitioned to remote work so we are home throughout the day, which is excellent for senior dogs who need extra care. I have a partially fenced in yard and live close to several hiking trails. Depending on your dogs needs, the amount of time between potty breaks can be adjusted as well as the amount of exercise given throughout the day. Dogs are all fed separately while water is available at all times. I do have a 3 year old rat terrier (19 pounds) who loves any and all dogs she meets - she has been around many senior dogs.

5. Tyler R.
“Tyler is an experienced dogwalker and petsitter, and is clearly a compassionate animal lover, who is great with both dogs and cats. I've also witnessed his patience and skill with energetic dogs. He is trustworthy, and would care for your pets as if they were his own! In my experience using Rover for booking petsitters, it has meant so much to find someone that I feel truly cares about my pet, and goes above and beyond to give them that bit of extra care and attention (and sometimes belly-rubs!) while I'm gone. I'm confident Tyler would be that kind of sitter for your pet.”

6. Bekka A.

“Bekka was wonderful with my dog Spencer! She took him for a nice walk and then threw some toys around for him as well. He loved his time with Bekka! Will definitely be rebooking!”

7. Alexandra G.
“I hired Allie over Christmas to stay with my pets while I was away visiting family. I have known Allie and her family for many years. They are a loving family that adores their pets. They also volunteer at a local rescue for parrots. Allie was brought up to love animals and it shows!! She spent loads of time with my “kids🐾” playing with them and loving on them. I would definitely hire Allie again to watch them. I don’t think they even missed me!! Haha!!”

8. Carla A.

“Carla has been great with my girls Mouse and Ivy. She is super dependable. She is always prompt with her communication and always lets me know if there is anything out of the ordinary during her visits and walks, which I appreciate very much. I recommend Carla, without reservation, for your pet care.”

10. Bridget C.
About: From senior lads to fresh-born pups, I've been with them all! Four years and counting in the vet field has taught me every pet has their own personality. While some may prefer calm and quiet and others energetic and outgoing, my focus is, and will always be, your pet's individual needs first. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my schedule, balancing part-time work with dedicated evening availability and open weekends. Your pet's well-being is my priority, ensuring they receive loving attention whenever you need. Shy, nervous, or extremely outgoing - I've worked with and encountered countless different personalities and breeds. My utmost priority will always be your pet's comfort. Working as a vet assistant for several years has taught me the importance of body language and patience no matter the setting!

11. Caitlyn D.
“Caitlyn Dimmock is and has always been a kind person with a love for all living creatures. She shows patience and a keen understanding to the ways a pet communicates. Our household dog, Macie, often seeks her out for a comfortable space to relax. She greatly assisted me in caring for my mother-in-law's new puppy while she was away. Caitlyn would be a fantastic pet caregiver.”

15. Emmanuel A.
About: Ive been taking Ghost for 3 years now. In the past I’ve helped friends take care of their pets. This is a opportunity for me to learn more about pet caregiving. Pet care is integrated into my daily routine and is a source of joy, companionship, and responsibility. For example, each morning and evening there is a time for Ghost and I to eat feed, walk, and play. Other tasks, such as grooming or administering medication, may be performed on a more infrequent basis. I like to know what basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter, as well as regular exercise, grooming, and playtime are for each pet. Depending on the type of pet, it may also involve providing medical care and regular check-ups.

“Haley took care of our two kittens when we went away for a weekend. She was the first person to stay with them since we got them and she did a great job! I fully entrusted her to take care of them and give them all the snuggles and playtime they needed. She watched our house for us as well and we knew we’d come home and it would be as though we never left. I would trust Haley to watch our animals anytime!”

18. Lucas B.
“I love my animals more than anything in the world. Lucas has been my go to person when it comes to watching my cats when I am away for years. He has come on short notice when I’ve had family emergencies, and stopped in when one of my cats was very sick without hesitation. There is absolutely no one I trust more than him when it comes to the welfare of my animals. I would recommend Lucas to anyone without a second thought. He will care for and love your animals as if they were his own.”
