About: My veterinary assistant experience with small and large animals sets me apart as I keep a close eye on your animal’s health and well-being. I am not easily spooked, but I want your pet to receive the best care I can give. I am not a trainer, but I am comfortable dealing with some pets with behavioral issues. I want to create the safest and most comfortable environment for your pet, your sanity and myself! I currently work four days a week and have a three day weekend. I am looking to pet sit for people who are going on a short trip or need routine weekend care. I can be flexible with week nights, but it will need to be established well in advance. I am looking to house sit in the owners residence. My cats would not be happy to have any new comers to our family. I am very punctual with breakfast and dinner time, and I am typically one to spend time wherever the pet would like to whether that be indoors or outdoors!

About: I am an animal lover through and through! I’ve been taking care of many different types of dogs and cats since as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and cats, and I am more than willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal in particular. When I come to care for, play with, and walk your pet, I will dedicate my time to truly loving them. I have experience staying at owners houses to take exceptional full-time care of their pets, and I also have experience keeping pets in my home! I have practiced basic animal training such as teaching dogs and cats to sit, stay, and shake. I truly adore animals and I will enjoy every minute of caring for your fur-babies! I am currently an Elementary Education student at the University of Connecticut, but I have tons of free time to take care of pets, whether that be for drop-ins or for more personal care in my home! Currently I am available full-time and I can accept last minute bookings. While dropping in to care for your pets, I will of course be incredibly respectful of your space, going only in the rooms I am allowed and touching only the items needed to care for your animals :) To care for animals in my own apartment, I have made sure that potentially hazardous items (small items, food, plants, etc.) are all put away/placed at a height that dogs and cats cannot reach. While I do not have a fenced yard, there are several parks around my apartment where I can consistently take your dog out on long walks. In my home, animals are also allowed on beds and couches! About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.

About: I have volunteered with a dog rescue for the last years working with a variety of different dog breeds, ages, sizes, and behavioral issues. I also have 2 years of basic obedience dog training through that rescue, especially working through behavioral issues such as fear and reactivity. I also currently work as a Doggie Daycare Attendant. I currently work part-time as a doggy daycare attendant. I have 3 of my own dogs, as well as a foster dog. My mother in law lives with my family so there is almost always someone home, especially so for potty breaks. All of my dog remain crated while unattended. Potty breaks as as frequently as needed, especially with my senior dog. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have long leads for outside and dogs are never left unsupervised outside.

About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. About: i’ve have many types of breeds. i currently have two border collies and love working with animals. i can’t wait to meet yours, im excited it’s in my everyday routine , i have a very hyper breed so they are very active. i wake up and my dog is the first thing i take of , and i do the same throughout the day. i make sure she’s taken care of before other things. i do what is more comfortable for the dog , if they are hyper i’ll play with them until they are tired. if they are calm dogs i’ll feed them and make sure they are cared for either way.

About: Hi! Im 24 and I live on Amston Lake and I love to walk dogs! I have a lot of free time in the mornings before work and on my days off. I am open to walking big and small dogs! Also open to walking more than one dog at a time! I have a 8 year old Shihpoo that is very dog friendly! I also have two indoor cats! Let me know if he can join on the walk with your dog! I would prefer walking dogs around the lake, but I am open to going to new neighborhoods, trails, or dog parks! I am currently working full time, I work a 5 on 2 off, 5 on 3 off schedule (evening hours) so my days off change every week. I have a lot of free time in the mornings before work and on my days off. On my days off I am available all hours! I can provide walks around the lake, nearby neighborhoods, dog parks,and hiking trails. About: I have always loved dogs. I am the one my friends always relied on to watch their dog when they went away. I can’t inagine a world without dogs. I have a huge english black lab and a small terrier. I get along with all dogs big amd small. I have references. I am reliable and experienced. About: I’ve take. care of dogs since i was about 10. It hasn’t been professional until about 4 years ago. I belive every dog/animals deserves the right to fair care and love even if they can’t speak! About: I have 4 dogs of my own. I absolutely love every single kind of animal. I am very passionate about animals. I dog sit my best friends dogs & co workers dogs as well as family pets. I work Sunrise hours Tuesday-Friday. I’m off of work by 11am and have the rest of my morning & afternoon to take care of my babies & play with them as well as take care of anyone else pets. All 3 of my dogs are very friendly. I have 1 dog who is a small cranky old lady with no teeth but she’s usually laying in bed relaxing while the other dogs play. My back yard is semi fenced in. The whole back portion is fenced but you are able to go to the front yard from the sides of the house.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood so I am very good with dogs and knowing how to care for them. I would walk our family dog and take him to the park and I was always very excited to do so. I’m currently attending college and I care for dogs and cats as a fun job when I’m not studying. My weekends are pretty much completely open for dog sitting, walking, feeding and whatever else your dog needs. I will care for your pets with love and affection. I will make sure they are well taken care of when they are with me. Whatever you need me to do for your pet I will make sure to do. I want them to be happy and comfortable in my care. I currently go to CT state college so I am busy 4 mornings out of the week, but it’s not all morning and nights I am almost always free. Also, I am free all day Saturday and Sunday to care for your pets. I live in a house so I have a lot of room for your pets to play. And if I am in your home I am very respectful of your house, animals and belongings and will treat it with the same care as I do for my own.

About: Having cared for 13 dogs and 4 cats (yes, we keep count), we've seen it all. Daily exercise and even bathing is quite familiar to us. Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. We currently have a year-old golden retriever and a tabby! We've dealt with a couple lovable (but difficult) pets and can deal with issues like stubbornness, biting, and basic potty training. Leo works from home, and I'm a commuter-basically, there's always someone home! We are both the "outdoorsy" type and frequent the devil's hop yard, as well as hike through our property. As STEM majors, animals keep us sane! We can also transport your pets (we have the seating and everything). Our property has a spacious (but secure) 100-acre forest, perfect for supervised walks and exploration! At home, our pets—a friendly Golden Retriever and a sweet Tabby—ensure your furry friend will never feel lonely. We can also provide crate time if needed for safety or comfort, and (given our flexibility) tailor care routines to meet each pet’s needs!
