I care for pets in their home by maintaining their normal routine and creating a calm, comfortable environment. About: I’ve always had dogs of my own since I was little, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to slower-moving seniors—and I’m comfortable with things like crate training, giving medications, and sticking to your pet’s routine. About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was in kindergarten. I love to take her for walks, take her on drives, give her baths and buy her special treats. I also have experience watching my family and our friend’s dogs. I love animals and always enjoy spending time with them and building a loving bond. I am very responsible and will be sure to give your pet my undivided attention when I am with them! I am a full time college student and am also a member of a professional fraternity on campus. I am available at various times throughout the day and on weekends to check-in on your pet and take them for walks! I grew up around dogs in the family and pay very close attention to detail. About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

About: I am a true animal lover, I have 2 dogs + 6 cats of my own! I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and am well-equipped to care for dogs of all ages and abilities whether that be an overnight stay, making certain that they’re content and comfortable, or a quick walk around the neighborhood, with a secure leash + harness and can’t forget the doggy bags! About: I love animals & have had many--from turtles & fish to cats & dogs & goats. Its such a pleasure to tend to them & just be with them. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. I am a freelance worker which gives me ample opportunity to accommodate to your pet's and your schedule needs. I have a very flexible schedule. About: We got our first dog when I was four years old. Over the years we had many other dogs , both large and small. Most recently , I was the primary caregiver for our seventeen year old terrier mix. Pet sitting will help fill the void that she has left in my life. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the week, weekends, days and evenings. I have an active life style. I have a large yard for your dog to enjoy on a leash. I have one cat at home who is dog experienced. I am open to caring for a dog's in my home if they are cat friendly or in yours.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. About: Hi! My name is Mopelola, but I exclusively go by Jade! I have always loved animals and although I no longer have any of my own, I have a lot of experience in keeping them happy and enriched ! I am a student but all my classes are online this semester and so I am more than happy and available to watch pooches and kitties! About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets of all kinds, from energetic puppies to shy cats and everything in between. I’m comfortable with any schedule your pet needs and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. I am currently a student so all of my days are flexible. The semester is almost over but next semester I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’m available for boarding during the week and weekends and everything else is flexible and able to fit into my schedule. There’s plenty of places for them to walk and play. They can easily be crated as well. Anything can be accommodated and done as needed.

About: I have been working with dogs in multiple capacities for years! I have had an on and off dog walking business of my own since I was 14, and working in daycares/kennels since I was 16. I have taken care of dogs big and small, and young and old. And I love them all! I am currently a part-time student at UConn Storrs, but I am based out of Storrs, CT. I am available weekends (Friday-Sunday) throughout the school year for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. I am in the area full-time on weekdays for walks, hikes or other fun activities with your doggos! I can work around whatever setup you already have in your home. I have plenty of experience getting dogs in and out of crates/kennels as well as house training my own dogs if crates aren't your thing! Any routine you already have with your dog, I will be able to pick up on and get things done smoothly and safely! Before Rover, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I was trained in administering medicine (pills, creams, wipes etc.) and many dog handling techniques to keep both your doggy and I safe!

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and a chinchilla. My friends made a joke that my house was a zoo with all the animals we had. I love animals and I can’t imagine my life without a furry pet. I’m currently in college at UConn, but finishing off my senior year so only taking a couple credits. I have flexible hours and love walking. When I’m home we don’t have a fenced in backyard but she’s trained to come back. We take her on hikes all the time to tire her out. My cats are older and have to take medication but they love snuggling up with my dog.

About: Hi! I've helped taken care of my family's dog since I was 12, and since then, I've gained experience in caring for multiple dogs and cats. I'm thrilled to help serve my local community. In addition, I've taken multiple animal science courses in my studies at UConn, and have a working knowledge of animal care. I'm a senior studying the life sciences at the University of Connecticut. As a full time student (with extracurriculars), I certainly have a busy schedule, however; that helps motivate me to manage my time and set aside certain days and nights for work! Also, I don't have any class on Fridays or Saturdays, which is perfect for weekend pet sitting needs! I can also overnight pet sit on most nights. Most of my pet sitting work will revolve around ensuring your pet is taken outside (or for a walk) when needed, fed on time (this includes ensuring fresh water is always accessible 24/7!), and given time for playtime (or even time for calm activities, especially if the pet is anxious). This is a fairly standard list of care—so if your pet has needs that differ, please let me know!
