It was definitely like a home away from home feel. They had a great set-up in their home and yard for Scarlet to feel comfortable. They are very caring and went above and beyond with Scarlet. The day we were supposed to drop Scarlet off, she had developed a sore on her hind leg and Patrick and Susan were so wonderful and reassuring that they would take good care of it. About: I am new to the Rover app but I’ve taken care of animals my entire life and have a wide range of availability! I just want to be able to help those who need their fur babies taken care of without the added stress of boarding them. I have experience with lots of different animals, sizes, diets and medicine administration. I only have one pet in my house and he’s a small 20lb dog named Koda. He LOVES other animals and even has some cat bffs! I am home most week nights and weekends so i have pretty open availability! About: My veterinary assistant experience with small and large animals sets me apart as I keep a close eye on your animal’s health and well-being. I am not easily spooked, but I want your pet to receive the best care I can give. I am not a trainer, but I am comfortable dealing with some pets with behavioral issues. I want to create the safest and most comfortable environment for your pet, your sanity and myself! I currently work four days a week and have a three day weekend. I am looking to pet sit for people who are going on a short trip or need routine weekend care. I can be flexible with week nights, but it will need to be established well in advance. I am looking to house sit in the owners residence. My cats would not be happy to have any new comers to our family. I am very punctual with breakfast and dinner time, and I am typically one to spend time wherever the pet would like to whether that be indoors or outdoors!

About: I am an Animal Science student at UConn and have been working as a vet tech at Ipswich Animal Hospital for the past 3 years. I work with many different types of animals, mostly cats and dogs, and I can cater to their needs. I can administer medication, clip nails, certain grooming tasks such as brushing and bathing, and I can also do hair trims if needed (some of these services may require an additional person; if I determine it is needed for that specific pet that would require another person other me entering your home). I am very active and can provide long walks for pets and can also provide photos and videos of your pets. I am a college student so I am available during winter and summer break. I do not usually travel so I am available for holidays and vacation weeks. I have owned dogs all my life and have taken care of many of my friends' cats. I have 2 dogs at home and regularly take care of 4 cats. Each pet obviously has different needs, and I try my best to accommodate them. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. I would always make sure the pet is safe, loved, and well cared for. I live with my husband and son who are both animal lovers as well.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was young. I grew up in a house with 4 dogs and 2 cats. I now have 2 dogs of my own. A 5 and a half year old golden/husky mix and a 4 year old golden retriever. I believe each dog has needs of their own and being able to provide them a comfortable environment whether on a walk or if I’m visiting them for some play time- they decide how it goes. As long as they are happy, that is what matters! Just a girl helping others out when I can :) Every day I am taking care of my animals, I literally quit my office job for a stay at home job so they could have a happy life. I treat them like my own kids. Although my dogs are trained, if they want something… a quick “sit” or other trick will work for me!!

“This was our very first time leaving our dog Scarlet with a sitter other than family and needless to say I was a bit anxious...but after our meet and great day I knew Patrick and Susan were the sitters for her! It was definitely like a home away from home feel. They had a great set-up in their home and yard for Scarlet to feel comfortable. They are very caring and went above and beyond with Scarlet. The day we were supposed to drop Scarlet off, she had developed a sore on her hind leg and Patrick and Susan were so wonderful and reassuring that they would take good care of it. About: I have been taking care of dogs for about 6 years and have encountered all types, from the couch potatoes to the ones who want to play nonstop! I am home full time so I am available any day and any time for drop off and pick up. Being home full time also means I will be available for your pet at anytime they need me throughout there stay at my home. I have a sturdy 100 ft dog runner that has held very large dogs. However,if your dog does better on a regular leash just let me know and I can leash for bathroom breaks instead. While at my home your pet is my only priority and I am happy to suit any needs they have.
About: For the past 3 years I have had jobs within the veterinary industry in both general practice and emergency veterinary care and am currently a pre-vet student. I have lots of hands on experience with all different kinds of animals, I myself have rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs. I have several years of dog training experience including training therapy dogs used in social settings for increasing positivity in different public environments. With my veterinary jobs I have taken care of and helped treat all different ages and breeds of animals. With my animal behavior training I can also assess animals body language in all different kinds of settings to know how best to react with each animal I meet. I am a very active veterinary science student and love spending my free time and breaks interacting with all kinds of animals. Each new friend I meet offers me the challenge to enhance their training and asses their body language to become even better at what I do within the vet industry. With each new friend I get to meet I make sure to have clear communication regarding guidelines and normal routines for all the furry friends. I like to keep routine within each animals schedule to reduce the stressors of being alone or having their family leave for a vacation without them. The routine I learn about gives me the basis on what kind of care each animal needs because every animal is different.
