About: For the past 3 years I have had jobs within the veterinary industry in both general practice and emergency veterinary care and am currently a pre-vet student. I have lots of hands on experience with all different kinds of animals, I myself have rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs. I have several years of dog training experience including training therapy dogs used in social settings for increasing positivity in different public environments. With my veterinary jobs I have taken care of and helped treat all different ages and breeds of animals. With my animal behavior training I can also assess animals body language in all different kinds of settings to know how best to react with each animal I meet. I am a very active veterinary science student and love spending my free time and breaks interacting with all kinds of animals. Each new friend I meet offers me the challenge to enhance their training and asses their body language to become even better at what I do within the vet industry. With each new friend I get to meet I make sure to have clear communication regarding guidelines and normal routines for all the furry friends. “Dexter had an amazing time with Liz! We were a bit apprehensive because he's a little guy who can be nervous around larger dogs, and Liz was watching 2 big friendly dogs the same weekend. Luckily, Liz coordinated a meet and greet with all 3 dogs beforehand and it went great! We got lots of happy pics of Dexter while we were away, and were so happy that he obviously got as much attention as he did. Needless to say, Dexter came back happy and healthy. “We had another dog sitter booked on Rover.com but she had to cancel when her dog became I’ll a few days before our trip. We searched and found Josh who agreed to take our 10 year old beagle with almost no notice. We brought her over for a meet and greet with his 2 dogs and it went well enough that we agreed to the booking. We got daily updates with pictures which helped us and our kids considerably. When we picked her up tonight she was happy to see us but much calmer than our last kennel visit. Now we are home and after an hour of sniffing around the place she’s sleeping in her favorite spot on the couch. All in all a great conclusion to a stressful week!! About: I am new to the Rover app but I’ve taken care of animals my entire life and have a wide range of availability! I just want to be able to help those who need their fur babies taken care of without the added stress of boarding them. I have experience with lots of different animals, sizes, diets and medicine administration. I only have one pet in my house and he’s a small 20lb dog named Koda. He LOVES other animals and even has some cat bffs! I am home most week nights and weekends so i have pretty open availability! I take my dog on long walks after work and we are always looking for more company! I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a very yard with a leash that is on a run with plenty of room to get the zoomies out! I have a spacious house and we welcome dogs on all furniture, so if you have a pet who prefers to cuddle up and sleep in bed, i’m your gal!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.
About: Over the years, I've cared for my own four companion rescue dogs and many more cats. I also started and ran a licensed farm animal rescue for 17 years where I provided daily care for sheep, goats, llamas, chickens, turkeys and pigs. About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

The routine I learn about gives me the basis on what kind of care each animal needs because every animal is different.
“Dexter had an amazing time with Liz! We were a bit apprehensive because he's a little guy who can be nervous around larger dogs, and Liz was watching 2 big friendly dogs the same weekend. Luckily, Liz coordinated a meet and greet with all 3 dogs beforehand and it went great! We got lots of happy pics of Dexter while we were away, and were so happy that he obviously got as much attention as he did. Needless to say, Dexter came back happy and healthy. We definitely hope Liz is free next time we need a dog sitter, and Dexter hopes so too.”

“Katie and her family were AMAZING!! We needed a last minute sitter and they couldn’t have taken better care of our girl. We got multiple updates and lots of pictures which put us at ease. Katie’s girls were super cute with Bear and she enjoyed all of the extra pets and attention. We’d 100% recommend Katie to anyone and look forward to having her watch Bear again in the future.”

“We had another dog sitter booked on Rover.com but she had to cancel when her dog became I’ll a few days before our trip. We searched and found Josh who agreed to take our 10 year old beagle with almost no notice. We brought her over for a meet and greet with his 2 dogs and it went well enough that we agreed to the booking. We got daily updates with pictures which helped us and our kids considerably. When we picked her up tonight she was happy to see us but much calmer than our last kennel visit. Now we are home and after an hour of sniffing around the place she’s sleeping in her favorite spot on the couch. All in all a great conclusion to a stressful week!! We will be using Josh’s services again in the future!! Highly recommended!!”
“Ifan was wonderful and very responsive. He sent a picture each day of our dogs and it was reassuring to see that they were happy and healthy! He learned their personalities very quickly and the dogs seem like they had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend and will be a return customer!”
“Summer is the best of the best. She took such good care of our two pups and when one of our pups arthritis started to act up, she loved him and took care of him like he was her own. She was absolutely incredible and we will most certainly be rebooking and I would highly recommend Summer to watch anyone’s pups.”
