I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. About: Hi, I’m Alyssa – your dog’s next best friend! 🐾 Located in Tolland, CT | Flexible Availability | Trusted by Fellow Dog Parents As a lifelong animal lover and proud pup parent, I understand how important it is to find someone reliable, responsible, and caring to look after your furry family member. I was referred to Rover by friends who know how much I adore dogs—and I’ve quickly become the go-to sitter for neighbors and friends alike. I specialize in caring for dogs who may need a little extra love, patience, or consistency—especially rescues or more anxious pups. I recently cared for a young red heeler mix who was too nervous to board, and with time, treats, and a calm presence, we became fast friends. Whether your dog is high-energy or a couch cuddler, I tailor my care to their needs. What I offer: • In-home overnight stays (I’ll treat your pup like one of my own) • Daily walks and enrichment activities • Photo and text updates to keep you in the loop • Flexible scheduling and last-minute availability Let’s set up a meet and greet—I’d love to learn more about your pup and how I can help! I work from occasionally so I can be available for your dogs when boarding! I can take them out morning, noon, or night depending on need. If boarding, I have about 1.5 acres of land they can explore or a 30 foot fenced in area in the back. I have a friendly dog who’s about a year old, and a fenced in area. Were ready for whatever your dog may need and more!
About: I’ve spent years caring for pets of all kinds, from energetic puppies to shy cats and everything in between. I’m comfortable with any schedule your pet needs and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. I am currently a student so all of my days are flexible. The semester is almost over but next semester I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’m available for boarding during the week and weekends and everything else is flexible and able to fit into my schedule. There’s plenty of places for them to walk and play. They can easily be crated as well. Anything can be accommodated and done as needed.
“Deb did an excellent job taking care of Molly Molly and Starfire! She sent pictures and great communication each day. She also took the time to engage with them during each visit - couldn't ask for more.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was young. I grew up in a house with 4 dogs and 2 cats. I now have 2 dogs of my own. A 5 and a half year old golden/husky mix and a 4 year old golden retriever. I believe each dog has needs of their own and being able to provide them a comfortable environment whether on a walk or if I’m visiting them for some play time- they decide how it goes. As long as they are happy, that is what matters! Just a girl helping others out when I can :) Every day I am taking care of my animals, I literally quit my office job for a stay at home job so they could have a happy life. I treat them like my own kids. Although my dogs are trained, if they want something… a quick “sit” or other trick will work for me!!
“Jo was terrific! Very communicative and responsible. She sent us photos every day of our cat Olivia who seem to have a terrific time visiting with her. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for someone who wants to be sure that their pet will be well taken care of.”

About: I'm a kind, responsible, friendly, well organized, calm & honest person. My husband and I both like dogs. We own a smart, friendly golden retriever who love to play and run around our large yard. Our dog is healthy, understands basic commands (we trained him ourselves), house trained, and up to date on shots/vaccinations. We take good care of our dog and we'll take good care of your dog. We are living in country and close to dog park, Coventry and Bolton lakes. I can take your dog on a leash to walk there upon your request. I would like to board a friendly and house trained dog. We accept only crate trained dogs. I am working from home. So, I can provide potty breaks and plenty of exercise for your dog. I like to walk and have experience with dog who have anxiety. Safety is priority. I prefer to keep dogs separate because they may not get along. Your dog will be on a leash if outside the house. I would never feed my dog your dog kibble. Crate trained dogs only.

“My dogs are always happy to spend the day with Ricky. They get excited in the car when they realize where we are and run right through the door as soon as it opens. I’m so happy they are safe and well cared for while I’m away.”

About: Hi everyone! I am an animal fanatic (dogs>people) with an energetic and outgoing personality. I strive to provide the best possible care and have no problem with special requests or schedules! I'll run, walk, play, throw to your dogs content and my own. I've been caring for animals big and small since I was a wee kiddo, have vet experience inherited from my dad who owns his own practice, and overall a soft spot for all things furry. I have a cattle dog mix pupper who is a social butterfly and a bengal that acts more like a dog than a cat. He gets along GREAT with all animals he's been introduced to, just check out the photos! Put yourself at ease knowing that your pooch will be properly attended to at your own convenience! I am currently working part time as a nanny and am looking to expand my passion for animals into a full time career. I previously ran a small dog walking business in Boston and am hoping to do the same here in my home state of CT! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to play with! If your dog is not friendly with others I do have a separate space for my pups if needed.

“Very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable of pets. Gave a report at time of pick up of how he did, any problems that arose, and suggestion they could help if need be. My pup is hyper so her fenced in yard was perfect. He was happy and relaxed at pick up. Would I use her again? Absolutely, yes. He felt safe with her and that is what we want when leaving out pets!”

“Blue had a wonderful time playing in Betsabeth’s amazing backyard. She truly took care of him as if he were her own, and it was such a comfort to find someone I can trust with my boy for overnight stays. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.”

“Christle listened to my concerns and was very reassuring. She gave me the confidence to leave my pup with her and took great care of him. She provided me updates and pics which reassured me. I will use her again.”

“Wonderful dog walkers. Pat was critical to helping me successfully interview for a job (including full days of Zoom) without whiny dogs in the background and was highly responsive and flexible in scheduling. We are looking forward to boarding our dogs with them and only wish they had greater availability (but of course, top dog walkers/boarders are busy!).”

My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. “Kathryn & Jeremy were great! Their house was cozy and friendly. Our corgi loved playing with their kids and he was definitely tired when he got home. They were great at communication and we felt our dog was safe. Will book with them again!”

“Morgan was super helpful when I needed a sitter on my road trip! She was so good with Molly and helped out extra since Molly wasn’t feeling the best on my trip and eating irregularly”

“Phenomenal care! Amber is a wonderful sitter, very caring, kind, empathetic and truly loves dogs. My Dante got a lot of love and attention. Amber communicated well, plenty of updates, pictures and videos. Best care for your furry kiddo! Highly recommend Amber as your sitter.”

“Allison was very responsive from the very first time I reached out - and I was comfortable with her right away! She sent me updates and pictures every day and I knew my dog was in good hands. While I typically have friends watch Jax - Allison will be my first choice next time we have to go away! She is definitely a dog lover and her family loved my dog too! Perfect setting for a doggie vaca while you are on yours! Thanks again Allison - having my mind at ease away from my "baby" helped me enjoy my vacation sooooo much more.”

“Stephen is a great pet sitter who looked after our beloved friend! We had a good opinion of him right away when we met him. He is very nice and pleasant, and he was excellent with Snowy! When we arrived to pick him up, he was calm and joyful. During Snowy's visit, Stephen sent us pictures of Snowy having fun, which was wonderful. I look forward to connecting with Stephen again in the future!! Thanks for doing such an excellent job; keep it up!!”

“I am so grateful and appreciative of Sandra‘s loving care of Lulu while I was gone for 13 days. Lulu has a seizure disorder and Sandra was amazing with giving her medication and keeping me updated every day with her status and sending pictures of how well loved and cared for she was. Sandra and her husband John invited Lulu into their home and treated her as though she was theirs!”
