Lulu is a high maintenance girl with needing to eat several times a day as well as needing medications throughout the day. I provided a very detailed list that Kristin followed incredibly well because Lulu had no issues while she was there and I received daily updates and pictures of how she was doing. Additionally, Kristin was incredibly accommodating when my flight was delayed and I needed to come home a day later. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. “This was Lulu’s first time with Kristin and I had such peace of mind knowing how well cared for and loved she was while she was there by Kristin and her family. Lulu is a high maintenance girl with needing to eat several times a day as well as needing medications throughout the day. I provided a very detailed list that Kristin followed incredibly well because Lulu had no issues while she was there and I received daily updates and pictures of how she was doing. Additionally, Kristin was incredibly accommodating when my flight was delayed and I needed to come home a day later. I highly recommend her!”
“Kristin was absolutely amazing! As a first-time pet owner, I was nervous about leaving my 6-month-old puppy for three weeks, just two months after adopting her. Kristin went above and beyond, providing not only shelter, food, and affection but also invaluable training. She ensured my dog got plenty of exercise and even introduced her to swimming! Kristin sent daily updates with pictures and videos, keeping me constantly informed. When I picked her up, Kristin gave me a detailed report on everything—from her food intake (with tips on avoiding digestive issues) to her training progress. She even provided advice on making frozen treats and other ways to support her health. As a new pet owner, I was incredibly grateful for this guidance. This wasn’t just pet-sitting; it felt like a boarding school for dogs! Kristin, along with Mark and sweet Kaia, created an incredible experience for my dog. I can’t recommend her enough—she is the most knowledgeable, caring, and well-rounded dog sitter you could ever ask for.”
