I was referred to Rover by friends who know how much I adore dogs—and I’ve quickly become the go-to sitter for neighbors and friends alike. I specialize in caring for dogs who may need a little extra love, patience, or consistency—especially rescues or more anxious pups. I recently cared for a young red heeler mix who was too nervous to board, and with time, treats, and a calm presence, we became fast friends. Whether your dog is high-energy or a couch cuddler, I tailor my care to their needs. What I offer: • In-home overnight stays (I’ll treat your pup like one of my own) • Daily walks and enrichment activities • Photo and text updates to keep you in the loop • Flexible scheduling and last-minute availability Let’s set up a meet and greet—I’d love to learn more about your pup and how I can help! I work from occasionally so I can be available for your dogs when boarding! I can take them out morning, noon, or night depending on need. If boarding, I have about 1.5 acres of land they can explore or a 30 foot fenced in area in the back. I have a friendly dog who’s about a year old, and a fenced in area. Were ready for whatever your dog may need and more!

About: I’ve been around animals ever since I was born. I live on a farm and have been taking care of different animals as long as I can remember. I understand each pet has a different personality and I look forward to learning everything about them and accommodating in any way they may need. I work part time on the weekends but am free throughout the week to give your pet lots of love and the care they need. I have a fairly large yard and love going for walks. I also have a wonderful dog who is extremely friendly and slightly shy/awkward. Whatever enrichment your animal needs, I will do everything in my power to provide.

About: I grew up owning 2 dogs and I have experience working in shelters as well as pet stores. I’m an animal lover who knows meeting the specific needs of each pet is necessary and important to complete my job. Currently, I work 2nd shift full time and I am able to take short term bookings (up to 2 weeks) for animal care. My availability is varied. I work 2nd shift full time Sun-Thurs, so I am available in the mornings on those days. Fridays & Saturdays I have open availability. I will follow your instructions and care for your pet as if it were my own. As someone who has owned pets with various temperaments and medical conditions, I am flexible to accommodations that are needed.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I have been pet sitting for a little over three years now! I currently have my own pets: two cats, and a dog. I have a few families whom I sit for regularly. I have had experience caring for puppies-senior dogs with special needs, diapers, and medications, as well as kittens-senior cats! My whole life I have been caring for pets of my own, as well as those of friends and family. My boyfriend has been sitting with me for well over 2 years now and has a lot of experience caring for many different animals. We have helped a few families out with training as well so that they can stay as close to their normal routine as possible! I’m currently working full time at UConn, but my boyfriend is working remotely. This being said he would be able to provide plenty of potty breaks throughout the day. We can both provide walks and plenty of play time morning and night as well! I am very flexible with whatever routine you would like me to follow for your fur babies! Personally, I have an electric fence for my dog at home, but I still go out with her, as she does not like to be alone! Although my cats are indoor cats, they LOVE being outside, so on nice days I will take them out on a leash and sun bathe with them!

About: I have experience with multiple large breed dogs, as well as small dogs. I have handled dogs with all types of temperaments from reactive to nervous walkers, as well as friendly dogs. I also have experience with small animals, like birds and guinea pigs. I’m a college student at MCC with a light schedule, so I have plenty of free time to check in on your animals and go for walks! I treat every dog with respect and I always do my best to stick with the routine they are used to keep anxiety and stress at a minimum.

About: Over the years, I've cared for my own four companion rescue dogs and many more cats. I also started and ran a licensed farm animal rescue for 15+ years where I provided daily care for sheep, goats, llamas, chickens, turkeys and pigs. I have lots of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities and am comfortable working with special needs animals and giving meds. I am also available for drop-in care for some companion or pet farm animals. My routine is very flexible as I am a self-employed consultant and work remotely from my own home. I am available for visits in the morning, afternoon, and early evening. I am currently available to do dog walks and drop-in visits. With dogs and cats of my own to care for, I’m not able to do overnight housesits.

About: My name is Jen, I am an avid animal lover, dog mom, and part-time adventurer. I have my BA in psychology and have always been interested in animal behavior. I first started watching friends' dogs in 2001, then moved on to house-sitting cats and dogs. I have great experience taking care of pups and love taking them on long walks, trips to the park, the beach, and places alike. And there's always time for some positive reinforcement! I am always willing to work on some training with your pup if you request. I have a 6-year-old love bug Cavapoo named Beau who is the light of my life! I walk my dog on the trails every single day after work and we enjoy it! I will not be taking care of any dogs at my home at this time. If this changes I will update the profile as soon as possible. I do not stay over night but I will stay until bed time and return in the AM.

I am working full-time from home but have a beautiful fenced in yard for your dogs to play in and I’m able to take frequent breaks throughout the day to play alongside them.
