About: I have grown up with a family dog all my life and now have my own! I have loved and trained him since he was a puppy and consistently receive compliments on how he is such a good boy and how well-behaved he is! I have always enjoyed taking care of doggos for family and friends and am very excited to help take care of yours! I am very good with dogs of all ages including young puppies in their teething and potty training phase to senior dogs who want cuddles and sniffs. I am available for house sitting and will spoil your pet with attention, play time, and walks while you are off enjoying your vacation or trip. I am also available for drop-ins and walks! You can count on me to keep your pets safe and happy :-) I have a very flexible summer schedule and can keep your pets on the their typical routines! I am happy to follow any special instructions you have your doggo! Every pet is unique and my goal is to take care of your pet as you would so you can be care-free while you are away and sleep easy knowing your pet is in good hands. You can trust me to keep your pets safe and your home exactly as you left it. I will treat your home as if it was my own, just like your pet.

I was pretty stressed about finding a cat sitter for this trip as my two boys are entering their senior years and have some special dietary/medication requirements. I just didn’t feel comfortable trusting it all to someone else for a whole week but Kira put me at ease immediately during our meet & greet. Her prior reviews and former experience really speak for themselves. She understood their significant personality differences and knew exactly how to handle them (which is saying something because one of my boys is very difficult and basically a gremlin in a catsuit). By day 3 of my vacation I realized I had stopped stressing about how the cats were doing because I felt so confident with Kira’s care. She is so communicative, flexible, and easy to work with. Also, bonus — she’s a fantastic pet photographer! We looked forward to the photos and commentary every day. Finally, the most important part to me is that I came home to find happy cats who were definitely happy to see me, but in no way seemed traumatized, which is how they usually act when I leave for a few days. About: Since I can remember I have always been around dogs and cats in my life, mostly rescues, who needed training and caring for. I currently pet sit for my family when they are away, and walk dogs for family friends. When I was a professional cleaner I encountered all breeds and ages of cats and dogs every single day so I am very comfortable around all types of pets. I especially love and have experience with pitty breeds as well as experience with some reactive cats and know what to do to gain their trust. When not taking care or animals, I am a freelance dancer and choreographer! I take dance class some evenings and may have a weekend show or rehearsals. Other than that, I am readily available especially during the morning, afternoons, and later in the evenings/overnight for your furry friends! About: I am certified in pet first aid and CPR, and am very serious when it comes to pet care, safety, and health. I have experience in pet care through all stages (puppy - senior), and complex medical cases. Each dog and cat is an individual with their own needs, wants, and traits that need to be fulfilled and noticed. BOARDING & DAYCARE: I LOVE pet care, and providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment. I understand how important it is to choose the right person to take care of your beloved dog or cat. My primary focus will be the safety of all pets in the house. I will also make sure you feel happy and comfortable that your pet is in my homeby going through all of the details before your pets stay, and updating you with pictures and videos! **Dogs MUST be fully potty trained** DROP IN VISITS: Playing, potty, feeding, cuddling, bathing... I will do whatever needs to be done to make sure your pet is both happy and safe! PLEASE NOTE: - I work full time. On Fridays, I get home around at 1:45pm. - I will accept boarding OR daycare. I cannot accommodate both arrangements on the same days. - If you have one dog and more than one cat, I will accept them all. I will have a private, separate room for your cats. - I would like as much notice as possible to set up the pet care arrangement! I have a fenced in yard and a female dog, Sophie, who is very friendly and playful! I will always monitor them and never leave them alone without supervision. Our cats are blocked off by door at the top of stairs (they'll stay on the second floor). My previous dog, Johnny, passed away in 2024 and throughout his life he experienced health issues that required daily oral medication (epilepsy and hypothyroidism, and during the last 6 months of his life he had Cushing's Disease). I am experienced in how complicated medication and health issues are in pets. I make sure our home is a calm environment filled with toys, playtime, cuddles, and mentally stimulating activities. My goal is to do what's best for the individual dog/cat and make them feel both safe and loved! If your pet needs their own private space, there is a private room that will be changed to fit the dog or cat's needs. The set up will include toys, their own items, and washable mats on the floor that will be washed/disinfected before use. ****To ensure the safety of all pets in the household, I need to see the most recent Vet paperwork showing your pet is up to date on vaccines and does not have a contractable health issue. ****Your pet MUST NOT be aggressive. Your dog MUST be fully potty trained.

About: I am a huge animal person and have been around dogs most of my life. I currently have a 7 year old (30lb) dog that we rescued as a puppy. She is a sweet girl and is use to having a companion (since we also had a spaniel for 17 years that recently passed away) so she is comfortable with other dogs. We also foster puppies and have experience with many different breeds and personalities! While you're away, working, or just have other plans that can't include your pet, he or she is welcome to stay with us or I can come to you. Either way, I will strive to make your furry family member feel comfortable and cared for. During the day, your pet will get plenty of attention. I currently work from home full time, which allows more flexibility with outside breaks and neighborhood walks. While I work, I will be in the same room as your pet so they will never feel alone. As far as basic care and house rules go, their feeding schedule can be flexible and adjusted to match his/her schedule at home. They are allow to roam the main areas of our home and snuggle up on the couch as they wish!
