“We appreciated the feedback on our pet as well as daily pictures that Karinna provided. We also appreciated Karinna getting our mail and ensuring that our trash collection was completed.”

“⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Five stars! Kira is the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough. I was pretty stressed about finding a cat sitter for this trip as my two boys are entering their senior years and have some special dietary/medication requirements. I just didn’t feel comfortable trusting it all to someone else for a whole week but Kira put me at ease immediately during our meet & greet. Her prior reviews and former experience really speak for themselves. She understood their significant personality differences and knew exactly how to handle them (which is saying something because one of my boys is very difficult and basically a gremlin in a catsuit). By day 3 of my vacation I realized I had stopped stressing about how the cats were doing because I felt so confident with Kira’s care. She is so communicative, flexible, and easy to work with. Also, bonus — she’s a fantastic pet photographer! We looked forward to the photos and commentary every day. Finally, the most important part to me is that I came home to find happy cats who were definitely happy to see me, but in no way seemed traumatized, which is how they usually act when I leave for a few days. She’s truly the best!”

About: I have taken care of animals for 15 years and I am very passionate about making animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I grew up with both cats and dogs and so I am able to take care of both. From pugs, mastiffs, labradors, to cats, I can do it all. I give medication, deep-clean litter boxes, play with you pets and overall make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time employee that works nights (5p-2a), and so I have a lot of free time during the day to take care of your pet. I always get up early to make sure I’m taking care of me and my cat’s needs and am able to extend that care to your animals as well. When I do a drop-in visit, I always do a sweep around the main areas of the house to ensure that everything is in order. For dogs, my main priority is to take them out, check their water bowl and play with them to make sure they have the care they need for the day. For cats, I will always check their litter boxes to see if it needs any scooping, I will also check their food and water bowls and fill them up if needed. Like dogs, I will respect their boundaries and play with them to ensure they’re comfortable.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for Samoyeds, Alaskan Malamutes, and Corgis, so I’m comfortable with both large and small breeds and their very different needs. High-energy dogs like Samoyeds and Malamutes need plenty of exercise and attention, while Corgis are smart, curious, and sometimes a little stubborn, which requires patience and consistency. I always tailor walks, playtime, and routines to each dog’s size, personality, and energy level to keep them happy and safe. I have dogs so I’m free for all the time if you need me to. I’ll be very careful and on time to take care of your pets. I always prioritize safety and comfort when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep their environment clean and secure, and pay attention to behavior, appetite, and mood. I make sure doors, leashes, and feeding instructions are handled carefully, and I treat every pet with patience, respect, and genuine care.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and just recently welcomed two cats into my family. I have been babysitting and nannying for as long as I can remember which would often lead to taking care of their four legged family members as well. I’ve assisted in potty training and with my own pets helped apply and give medications. I am someone who is reliable and trustworthy. I know how much my pets mean to me and have always treated any animals in my care as if they were my own. Right now I am off for the summer and because I work in a school am off on holidays and weekends. Once school starts again in August a typical work day is 7am-3pm. Throughout my years of working with families came a lot of house sitting and pet sitting for them and their friends. I am always respect of other peoples homes and am more than happy to take in mail/packages and take care of plants. I will always take care of your pets like they are my own. I am reliable and communicative.

“Jannette and her partner is wonderful. I love the fact that they are always in communication about how my dog Venus is doing on a walk. They take great care of her.”

About: While my experience is mostly with seniors, I love and have experience with all age ranges. I've also cared for dogs that have had some medical issues and am super attentive to all my fur babies. I currently work full-time, but my hours are extremely flexible. I am in office Thurs-Sun, but my work day can end anywhere between 8am & 3pm. If I have pets in my home, I do provide a bed, feeding bowls, snacks, toys, and a lot of affection. I have a private park across the street as well as a fenced in backyard, depending on what the needs are. I am also located near Bushnell Park in case some extra running around is needed. I am good at giving medicine, if need be.
About: I have been petsitting and housesitting for 12 years, caring for dogs of every shape, size, age, and temperament (as well as cats, fish, birds, and guinea pigs!). From untrained puppies to seniors, chihuahuas, to lab and pitbull mixes, I've done it all. I started off with my aunt's beagle, arriving every day after my classes to take her on walks, play in the yard, feed her, and give her attention. From there, I branched into caring for my coworkers dogs, and through these people's referrals, branched out from there. I grew up surrounded by dogs throughout my life and the joy and fun that comes from playing with them and taking them on adventures is unparalleled. I am fully available on weekdays and most weekends. I work as a wedding photographer so am not as busy during the winter months. My schedule is wide open! I can provide tons of flexibility I will match your schedule and style when caring for your babies. I’m very active and love exercise. I set alarms for feeding and medication times. I’ll give them lots of loving during relaxing time. I’ll do anything to help your pet feel happy all while keeping your home as clean as you left it
About: I have owned 5 dogs, 2 cats and 10 chickens over the past 40 years and provide service in Naples, FL, Marco Island and Bonita Springs. I am available most days in Naples FL, but very flexible depending on your needs. Do not hesitate to call me, I can give your pup the time and love he deserves. I would prefer to come to your home, only because my home is not fenced in, but could keep the dog on a leash at all times outside
About: I've helped take care of multiple clients and had a dog of my own my whole childhood and have loved taking care of others animals by cooking for them, playing with them and taking pictures! I'm a stay at home mom with 4 and 8 year old kids so we enjoy walking and playing with the dogs. My husband works from home and my brother lives with us at our house, so we have plenty of space and time for attention. i moved into a house three months ago and there is plenty of yard space, a back deck, and room for multiple dogs to have their own space. We live on a cuddle sack, so it’s also great walking dogs down and back.
“Kristina was absolutely fantastic, highly recommend her and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Our dog can be a little picky about who she likes but Kristina had her trust from day 1. Visits were right on time and she sent photos/videos everytime she stopped by, couldn't have been better for our dog while we were away!”

Best sitter in the Hartford area — super flexible with timing, very responsive, and took amazing care of my pup. You can really tell Ifan genuinely loves dogs and make them feel comfortable and safe. I appreciated the constant updates, photos, and how accommodating they were with scheduling. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy sitter in the Hartford area!
We lucked out with Erin and so did our dog. Our dog is not used to being with people she doesn’t know, but Erin made her feel very comfortable. Erin’s photographs and report when she left were reassuring and made us feel comfortable as well. This was our first experience with Rover. Erin’s positivity with our dog and attention to our requests exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Erin and would definitely work with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
