“I can't say enough good things about our experience! Christle watched our dog for the last 10 days and took such amazing care of him. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and treated him like her own! She kept us updated every day with photos and updates on how he was doing. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such good hands the entire time. He was so happy there he didn't even want to come home! I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. Definitely our new dog sitter!”

“Astro came back looking as happy as ever, and I appreciate the fact that he let him play with other dogs. Very friendly! If need be, I will definitely be booking with him again!”

“Kathryn and Jeremy were great, can't recommend them enough. They were extremely communicative both before Bella's stay and during, updating us with pictures etc throughout the day. The couple are very well versed in dog behavior/needs and asked all the right questions to make us feel confident Bella was going to be well cared for and safe. When we picked Bella up she was very comfortable in their home and was resting with Kathryn and Jeremy. If you are looking for trustworthy couple to watch your pup with love and attention, this is it!”

“Andrea was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our pup, Scooby, felt comfortable and happy during his stay. We loved receiving the regular updates with pictures and videos, it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. To top it off, she even gifted Scooby the cutest goodie bag when we picked him up! I highly recommend Andrea and will definitely trust her to watch Scooby again in the future.”

“Didn’t get to meet Inam but Jennifer was amazing with my Ralphie! She’s very patient and kind, all the good qualities needed to take great care of your pets. While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
