Safety, trust & environment

I keep my home “dog proof” meaning I spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure no hazards are on the floor that dogs may be curious to eat. I keep the living room spacious and hallway open for play time and potential zoomies. Bedroom and bathroom will be closed off for additional safety. I will always ask about any allergies as a precaution, and will confirm what they are allowed to eat before feeding them. Water will always be provided. There is a beautiful walking trail very close by I spend time on walking dogs and making sure they’re well exercised. I have one small beagle at home who is very friendly and quiet.

Information Julia W. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any allergies, requires medication, or any other medical or behavioral information I should be aware of. I want to make sure they’re well cared for and comfortable as if they’re home.

A typical day

I like to play with them with toys that are provided. I will also go on multiple walk a day on the trail that is close by.

Pet care experience

I have an Associates degree in veterinary science technology. I have a few years of experience working as a vet tech before deciding to pursue an accounting/business degree in hopes of starting a rescue kennel business someday. I also have 2 years of experience dog sitting for neighbors who are away on vacation. Services I have provided include grooming such as bathing, trimming nails, and ear cleaning. I can also give medication if needed.

We had a great experience with Julia. She was very accommodating and attentive to our dog. We could tell from the photographs that our dog felt comfortable with Julia. The dog seemed well cared for when we got home, and our house was just the way we left it. We would definitely work with Julia again knowing that we'll have peace of mind while the dog is at home.

Julia was wonderful with our pup Koda! She gave him lots of love and attention during her visit, and even managed to coax our cat out to say hello, which never happens with friends she is familiar with, let alone new ones! We felt very comfortable knowing she was taking care of our furry family members, and we couldn’t be happier with her visit. Highly recommend!
